I think they might get one in week 15 or 17. The Titans have had their moments and I think the Jags might be beatable in the last game of the year. Alot more then QB needs to be fixed for next year.

Will see about the Jags tonite. Word around the Jags was that Del Rio was coming in late and had lost the team. So, this firing will do one of two things - pump up the team and they'll play hard the rest of the season. Two - they will crumble as some of them know they won't need to try out until the next coach has been hired.

I'm going with the Jags tonite against the Chargers. Norv seems to be on his way out there as well, and they had to make the long flight to Jacksonville.

TN has been playing well of late. I would think TN will beat the Colts. Who else they plan? They may get to share a record with the Detroit Lions.

Well, not always. I'm second again in the Pick em league. But I usually do well when there is NO money on the line. If I had bet in Vegas, I wouldn't have one a game this year. Hey, maybe that's what the Eagles need to correct their .... ahh, never mind.

DW made a tortellini-spinach soup for dinner tonite. We tend to eat with the retirement group so we can go to bed early. Actually, we have basketball tonite. This year, Upwards was short some players so I have seven players on my team from 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. I am going to teach them a staggered screen tonite.

How was your day in NYC?

Yeah, how was your day in NYC, Randall?? BTW, 5:30am when I left work sunday morning there was absolutely no crowd at the tree. It was lit and it was still dark out, so it was a great time to see it. I also walked past the Macy's windows around 6am on my way to Penn and there was nobody there either.

It was Great. James I wish I was there with you, because it wasn't like that when I was there.
We left the Baltimore area at 6 am and got to NY at about 10:30. We parked over in Jersey City and took the Path train in. We first went to Rockefeller Center saw the tree, then went to the American Girl store. Wow never saw so much stuff I didn't need. While there Arron my 5 year DGS had a "I'm Hungry!" melt down, so while the girls finished I took him to that Great NY restaurant, T.G.I.F. It was the closest place. We then headed to the Disney Store in Times Square. Why can't all Disney Stores be like this one? Then off to Toy's-R-Us. Macy's was our last place to visit. Everywhere was packed with people! I will say it was funny going from Disney, where all the cast members were smiling, to Toy's-R-Us where none of the workers were. All in All it was a Great way to start our Christmas Season!

Evening Dads.

I can't pinpoint exactly what it was about today, but it was truly a Boomtown Rats kind of Monday ("I Don't Like Mondays"). A little extra peanut buttery.

Students are starting to realize that they only have this week to pull up grades that have been sliding for 13 or 14 weeks prior to this. I saw two or three students who had not found my office all semester until today. I flat out had to tell one of them that there was not much he could to to pass this semester. It's always a strange situation when you actually tell a student they should perhaps NOT bother studying for your class anymore (so that they can put that time towards saving a class that's still salvageable). As one colleague says "I'm not the executioner. I'm just the coroner."

But other than that the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter. We did online check in yesterday for one of our two reservations. Can't get their online system to let me do checkin on the second room so I may have to call Disney tomorrow and see what we can do about that. While it isn't a huge deal it would be nice if we can confirm that they have my parents (and DD11) at least relatively near us for our stay.

Did the Seaworld one years ago, we did a walk-inand took an early lunch, got seated right at the tanks, it was a good meal if I recall, though I'd be damned to remember what we had...

That IS a nice Disney Store. I've never set foot in that Toys R Us, even though I've walked by it a million times. I was in a local TRU last week and it was an absolute wreck, toys all over the floor in every aisle... I can't imagine what a mess the one in Times Square is.

The crowds are good practice to keep those Ninja-Crowd-Navigation skills honed in between Disney trips.

Did Teppen Edo last year, and really enjoyed it. Did House of Blues once quite a few years ago. Can't remember anything more than that I ate there. Whispering Canyon Cafe we've done twice. The first time was disappointing because we ended up getting the very last lunch reservation slot. So when we showed up, there was only a handful of tables still eating, and there was none of the atmosphere that we'd heard so much about. Plus, we could only order a skillet meal from the menu as the kitchen wasn't making the other lunch items at that time. I wish we had known not to get a rezzie at that time. The second time was better. We got a dinner rezzie and DD got to experience the ketchup and all that good stuff. I also had four refills on my milkshake!!

Wow... I'd love to say i've been busy being a dad, but sadly, I've been playing guitar with my free time. I'm just as awful as I was before... but, oh well.
Next, and equally the reason, a pal of mine LOVES Walt Disney World. So, I've gotten through my affliction with conversation in person. For now.

I enjoyed House of Blues. Teppen Edo? I don't want to say it was bad, but, it wasn't better than Hibachi food I can get here. (in the STL).

And, the reason for my visit this evening: I'm 181 days from check-in!
So, 5 hours from waking up to do DxDDP Dining Reservations!
(If I have 2 computers, can I do 2 dining reservations at the same time? Log in as myself on one machine, my wife on another, and get ressies done twice as fast?)

And, just to make sure i'm recognized as legit: I'm Disdad # 418 (maybe 419?). I just haven't been around.

Getting up at 5:00 central paid off! I got 1900 park fare breakfast & Chef Mickey before the parks open (no wasted time, if possible.) And I got a Le Cellier Lunch and a Coral Reef Dinner.... AT lunch & Dinner times.

So, so happy!

And this will be my first experience at Cinderella's Royal Table.
