Your bacon post gave me page ownage of previous post.
Looks like one post tried to block.
Help Tim, Help!
You had posted a Great post in the Evil 13 about things to do in New York, New York, ( a city so nice, they named it twice,) Would you please be so kind as to post it again? DW is twisting my arm, and it's my sore arm, to go there this weekend. Thank You!
As of this post, the time wrap thing kept pushing my posts back. You were the sole stopper.
I will try to remember what I posted and who knows... you might get a new addition as well!
McSorley's
http://www.mcsorleysnewyork.com/
15 East 7th Street
Oldest bar in NYC.. they have 2 kinds of beer, light & dark. You order by number like- I'll take 10 light and 10 dark...

Also you'll see people ordering the cheese plate. It comes with cheese, onions, a row of saltines, and mustard that looks like it has been sitting out for years. (it is good though LOL)
Paul's Da Burger Joint
Right around the corner from McSorley's (about a 3 minute walk)
http://www.paulsburgers.com/
131 2nd Avenue
Really good burgers with some interesting combinations. Eat here, go to McSorley's, repeat!
Ginger Man
http://www.gingerman-ny.com/
11 East 36th St
They have over 60 beers on tap and over 100 bottled beers. The place is a little pricy but you can order beers from around the world. They also do flights which is nice if you want to taste a bunch of different ones. Make sure you check out the back of the bar, they have rooms with leather couches and chairs where you can relax!
Carmine's
http://carminesnyc.com/
200 West 44th Street (right in Times Square)
Great food that comes family style. There is no way to leave here hungry. Try to get a reservation or you will be waiting for a while!
Da Nico
http://danicoristorante.com
164 Mulberry St
Da Nico is in Little Italy on Mulberry St. There are many great Italian restaurants on this St. The meals are reasonably priced and the fresh mozzarella w/ tomato app is da bomb!
Brother Jimmy's BBQ
http://www.brotherjimmys.com/
They have a few locations throughout the city. I ate at the one next to MSG and it was really good. The fried pickles were awesome!
Both the Empire St. building and Top of the Rock (http://www.topoftherocknyc.com) have observation decks with stunning views.
Take a horse drawn carriage ride through central park..http://www.centralpark.com/guide/activities/horse-drawn-carriages.html
Of course Times Square has a ton of different stores and activities. Check out the new Disney Store 1540 Broadway (Broadway/45), Toys R Us, and FAO Schwarz 767 5th Avenue @ 58th St (a little walk from Times Square)(http://www.fao.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=3810526)
Good Luck!!!! I wish I was off or I'd come down and hang out!
