My DD'd b-day is New Year's Eve, so we usually just stay home and MAYBE stay up and see the ball drop on the TV! We haven't made it to the midnight hour in quite a while

It says there is an issue playing your video. What kind of weird things are on there?

I built it using an iphone app called action movie fx. Its pretty cool I've been using it to randomly shoot missiles at things or crash cars through them.

That certainly beats Angry Birds for entertainment value
(you need to post a demo of the car crash effect as well).


As for New Year’s Eve… we don’t have a plan just yet. I’m about “holiday-ed out” and I may need to work the next day so I’m not certain I want to be up all that late anyway.

I didn't know they started this already... So any word if they are holding people to the ADR or are they changing for no shows or changes before the ADR. We are planning a trip next year and I'm wondering if plans change hours before the ADR (having a 1yr old) will they charge your card?

In the past we have gone to church, but this year I think we will just be hanging out at home and watching the party in NYC! I hate to have the kids out on the road late on new Years Eve....yeah I guess I am on old party pooper. Like i said before I wish we all lived in the same neighborhood!! Then we could have a family New Years party and play games and eat cheeseballs all night long!

I like this idea...10dollars per preson wont break the bank but it is enough to make people not want to double book!

My Aunt always has a get together at her place (she has the largest house in the family).

She has her family and the families of her 5 brother's and sister's over!

Turns out to be a pretty big bash (about 40-50 of us).

And.....she serves Prime Rib to everyone!!!!

Plus, there's always beer in her kegerator....

Anyone else wonder why Angry Birds is so popular? I don't get it...

I didn't get it until I downloaded it. It is terrific, even better if you play it on a tablet.

... we end up havinga late snack at around 9:00 pm at Main Street Bakery. My kids still talk about it to this day - the day they had Chocolate Cake for dinner.

Yeah, those are the best dinners. We've had a few over the years and they are great.

But I received, from my awesome DW, Disney Trivial Pursuit game,

it is a great game. We disobeyed the rules (of team up) and added two pies from Trivial Pursuit so all had own piece. We also added requirement of Trivial Pursuit, that you had to roll into one of the "choose one" boxes as the hub before you could win. My oldest dd (9) can win the game by herself with all her WDW trivia knowledge.

I think that it is for all restaurants. I changed to Tusker House and Crystal Palace and both required credit cards

Good to know. We make them 180 out, but just for the ones we want. I'll still do CRT and Akerahus that far out, but it is good to know I can wait for others.

I made it thru another 2 episodes of Lego Star Wars sage Wii game. I went back and did the free play with some of the other characters. It is fun playing as General Grievous and Darth Maul.
