Grr.We decided to strip all of the services except Caller ID off of our home phone. Yesterday we went to Sam's and bought a new phone with 3 handsets and a built-in answering machine. It had to charge all night, but this morning it was ready to use. DH just called me on the new phone and he said it echoes.
I don't know if that is something we can fix or not. Our old phone was ancient and it was impossible to hear what a caller was saying. I can not deal with the new phone echoing. It also has all these different ring tones. I set it to a tone this morning and had DS call from his cell to test it out. Well, the regular ring tone rings OVER the tone I chose, so it makes a horrible racket. For $114 I think this phone may be going back to Sam's!

We are disconnecting our home phone and have a few phones with caller id on them you are certainly welcome to any of ours.
