Jennifer, how old is Virginia?

My little man (my cousin's son, the one who hangs on me all the time) turned 1 this past Feb. and the stinker will only say mama.
We are working on him to talk but he is quite stubborn.

Robyn I hope Lucy is feeling better tomorrow :wizard:

Jennifer hope you feel better soon :wizard: I bet Virginia has grown a lot, we need pictures ::yes::

Elizabeth glad you got the phone figured out :thumbsup2

Marci hope you get some rest!

So, I'm right with Anne Marie on the sunscreen issue! I bought a brand new tube of Banana Boat 50 spf for this camping trip, and my kids came back as red as cherry tomatoes. We applied many times during the day, and each time they came out of the water, but still got burned. Grrr.

Oh no! That is so weird..i thought Banana Boat made a good sunscreen but I guess not. Hope the kids are ok...call their customer line (# on the bottle) & let them know. Maybe something wrong with the whole batch of 50????

That's terrible! Sounds like they have quality control issues!

Glynis and AnnMarie was it the regular Banana boat or the baby banana boat. I bought some of both.

Hope Chanon does not mind me posting this, but her grandfather passed away Saturday.

Chanon you & your family are in my thoughts
I'm very sorry to hear this. Chanon, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Tammi -- how is Nicholas today?
He is much better. Thanks for asking. He still coughs every once in awhile, in the morning and after eating/drinking milk products. It's hard to eliminate them completely. He just did his last breathing treatment. I still have many vials for an 'as needed' basis.

I saw these on Kari's just for grin thread and thought a few might like these

Just did this for DD4. I could do it with Mickey and the gang or Pooh characters if anyone is interested.

I hope I read on and she is feeling better....poor sweet pea:hug:

Thanks, Theresa. How did the camping go?

Welcome home, Glynis!

Robyn - I hope Lucy gets to feeling better very soon and that Emma is not getting sick.

Jennifer - I hope your earache is not anything more serious than dealing with post nasal drip, etc.

Elizabeth - good luck with the new phone!!

Me too, Elin!!

Virginiahas her 5th tooth with the 6th one looking like it will be popping thru any day now.
She is saying mama and occasionally she will throw in a dada.

Finally a baby younger than Lucy that has less teeth than her!! Lucy is saying "Row, Row, Row" when we sing "Row your boat".

Chanon -- I'm so sorry for your loss. Sending lots of prayers to you and your family.

Tammi -- how is Nicholas today?

Robyn -- I hope Lucy's fever is gone for good.

Jennifer -- I hope you start feeling better ASAP.

Glynis -- you are a good mom for going camping! It sounds like the trip started out rough but ended up great.

I better get off of here and get some of my house picked up before I run out of steam, which will probably happen pretty quickly.

Thanks, Marci.

I think we actually have our new one working properly now! Thanks, though! :)

DH was sitting in front of my computer when it was echoing - we think it was because he had it them too close together. I tried it and it didn't echo. I also discovered that there is a ringer built into the base, so the base and the handset ring independently. I turned off the ringer for the base. I also figured out how to make the answering part be quiet instead of being in "screen" mode where you hear the messages as they are coming in. I think I just needed some more time with the phone and the directions! :rotfl2:

I hope Lucy is feeling better! :wizard: :wizard:

I would go get it checked out now before it gets worse. Maybe the doctor can give you something for your back while you are there! :wizard:

For the past month or so our microwave (it the over the range type) started humming rather loudly when it got used. I choose to ignore it because I do not want to replace it. Then the other night I put my hand on the cabinet next to the microwave while it was running and the humming stopped. It was the cabinet vibrating all this time!!

I hope the kiddos are feeling better.

Please keep the Reider family in your prayers. They (the children, 5 of them ages 22-30) are friends of mine since high school. Their mother died last August, and I just got news that Katie, the oldest (who I recorded music with through HS) passed away this morning. She's been battling a brain tumor (non-malignant, but the head doesn't have any extra space, so even non-malignant tumors can cause complications/death just by occupying space) for a while now, but at the end of June everyone thought she was on the verge of a full recovery. Her tumor had shrunk enough to be removed surgically, so they scheduled the removal as well as reconstructive surgery for August 7. Theoretically, at that point she would be in the clear.... but today, a hemorrhage recurred that wasn't able to be stopped. She has 2 sons, ages 3 and 1.:sad1:

You can check out her story, hear her music, etc as well as a really touching 'trailer' here.

How very sad. They are in my prayers.

Theresa how was your camping trip?

The zoo was great and the Shrine of the Sun was fun...we've never done it before.

We also saw the newest Veggie Tales movie....at Focus on the Family. It was nice to not have a set schedule.
