I saw a woman in the parking lot at Costco, loading her trunk with 10 of them. She said her "friend" was going to sell them on Ebay. Needless to say, when we walked in to snag one for you, the shelf was bare!!!

Wow! Most places around here are limiting the sale to one per person. That was sweet of you to think of me while you were there!

The manager at Circuit City said that if I was willing to "drive a little" they are a lot easier to buy in other areas. For some reason people in our little corner of the world are heck-bent on having them now, I guess.

That does sound fun. Maybe you could go on a family trip there at some point in the future! Or you could plan a birthday trip to WDW for her in August!

Believe me I am trying! Our school is closed the first week of August so I have been searching every OBX real estate company daily. There is a lot to choose from but most of the properties available sleep 14-24. There are 2 of us. (I am hoping that my lovely daughter will have a job by then. )

If I was lucky enough to find something it would require some maneuvering. I have to fly to Atlanta for Tuesday and Wednesday of that week. I told Bob this morning that if I found a condo he could just stay there for the two days alone and I would drive back and forth to Richmond for the trip. He was not crazy about that.

I would be in 7th heaven if I could stay at the beach alone for 2 days!

To all do it yourselvers.... you probably are a lot smarter than me. I think it would have been better to read the directions BEFORE I used the gorilla glue. I glued the fence and wiped off the excess with my finger, as if it were Elmers. So I came in and washed my hands... this glue isn't moving.

My DGD said, it's a good thing it's not wood glue. I had to sandpaper that off my finger. I said gorilla glue is wood glue. So she

The guy who mows my lawn said he would be here yesterday at 10:00 am. Then he called and said 11:00, then he called and said 10:00am today, then he called and said 1:00pm today. Now he's just not calling. My lawn looks like the jungle right about now. I think I'm going to sweep the deck and then join my DD and DGD in their day of beauty. Doing our hair, nails, eyebrows, soaking our feet relaxing looking at trash tv.

Ok then, I'll say it. I'm jealous! Of course, I'm jealous of anyone traveling, anywhere!


We had a great afternoon so far, though! We went to the West Chester Mothers of Twins Club picnic. It was supposed to rain all day, but the weather turned out to be absolutely gorgeous instead! Our girls were by far the youngest there (I think the next were about 11 months old). It was so much fun though, to see dozens of families with multiples, everywhere, in all different ages and stages of life. (And, I got to use the girls' "cabana" that I missed out on July 4th in the dreary weather )

Now, however, my MIL is here. This of course means that before we could put the car in park, she was taking the girls out of it. I have obviously since relinquished any right I have to my own children until she leaves, thus the time spent on the internet. Thankfully, they brought great grandma down, which negates any chance of an overnighter

Thanks for all the responses for Nicholas. I guess what confuses me is that nothing has been out of the ordinary for him, other than the smoke, so why now a flare-up, when he hasn't had a respiratory problem in years. Must be one of those medical mysteries.

That would have been enough by itself for me. I hope he is feeling much better.

I know I shouldn't read resort horror stories. But they are those threads that I just HAVE to open...



I was babysitting with my young friends and their giant dog. It's crunch time for those last few extra WDW dollars!

It was good, and the leftovers for lunch today were also great. Today has been just wonderful. I slept more than 6 hours, got to go to my regular Church (the first time in over 8 weeks) got to take a nap, and we even have clean clothes. I'm about to start picking up around here some, then we may go swimming. It is incredibly hot here today.

Hey all...Can you all spare some pixie dust for Lucy, please?

She woke us up crying at 10:30, she was hot so I took her temperature and it was 103.6. She also seemed to be having trouble breathing. We called and got her an appt at the urgent care clinic at 11:10. Eric is still there with her and her fever is now up to 105. Apparently, they are short staffed so he's been waiting.

I hope she is still fever free this afternoon.

I just got back from Circuit City. They had Wii Fit in their weekly add so I got there at 9:15 for their 10:00 opening. I was #9 in line. They had 8 to sell.

Oh man -- that is just not right!

Marci - Glad you are getting to relax a bit!
I finished babysitting about 10:15 last night and when I got inthe car to come home the temp was still 95! This morning I left to go to Target about 10:30 and it was HOT as soon as I stepped outside.

I am bored. Is it time to go to WDW yet?

I checked my statement and there is a phone # to call if you have questions about your Disney Rewards and a Cardmember ID #. Do you know if I call that number (during regular working hours) if they can register me for the promotion of if I am out of luck this time?

Tammi - Hope the meds help Nicholas. My asthma was triggered by a migraine medicine and has never really gone away. Luckily it's only bad during the hottest, humidest weeks of summer (akak NOW), but it's not bad. I hope his remains inactive for the most part.

Jennifer - Happy birthday to Olivia. I hope the party was great.

Robyn - Hope Lucy is still doing better.

Elizabeth - I have pretty crazy realistic dreams too, but so far none for Disney. Of course, I probably just started one brewing in my subconsious.

It's been a semi-quiet day today. I stayed home from church to enjoy some peacefulness since the week was absolutely crazy with horrid behavior due to lack of sleep from the work kids more often than not. I watched tv with Terra for a little while then went to Borders on my own for about an hour. Had a cup of coffee, a muffin and just read. After that the whole family arrived after church and we fixed lunch and then swam. Phil is working until 2am tonight so now I'm contemplating taking myself or maybe me and Terra out to dinner or something tonight to enjoy some more alone time. If I decide not too I'll be around some tonight as I need to get busy on getting our exact WDW plans together, especially for Phil's days.

I am not sure. Are you 100% sure that the email is totally gone. I know with some of my email accounts when I delete them it moves them elsewhere.

As for the promotion, I know it has a code number that use to activate the promotion. In the past I have received a paper copy of the promotion as well. So you might receive one like that as well.
