Yep. We're in a DVC room 11 out of 16 nights, so free internet. I'll probably pay for at least the first 24 hours at AKL, too, so you'll have a decent coverage of the trip.

My kids are watching Samantha Brown's Top 10 Disney Favorites.........again.

DS & I watched that again. We loved La Nouba last summer!

Alyssa lost her first tooth tonight!

I fed her corn on the cobb to loosen it up good.

Yay for the tooth!

Well, here's my update for the weekend. I'm at Mom's up by the lake until Sunday night. Hopefully I can pull off Mom's 60th surprise party. Cross your fingers for me!
...but there's been downfalls. My grandmother (mom's mom) needs a place to stay - with the beginning stages of dimentia, she'll be staying with Mom for a few weeks starting on Monday. They don't get along much, so send some peace and patience to her for me. And then there's my grandfather (dad's dad) was taken off life support this afternoon. We aren't sure if he'll make it a day or a week. So send some peace to my dad too. He took a BIG step today calling his brother - with whom he hasn't spoken to in years - so I think he's coming to accept it. There's more to both stories, but I don't need to bore you with more details.
So everyone - have a great weekend and enjoy the weather! Our's is supposed to be 85 and sunny until Monday.

Thanks!! My day has been fine. I taught and many of my parents and students brought me gifts, like homemade petit fours and a birthday cake that looks amazingly like the one in Robyn's post. I got flowers and hand "cream" from a place called "lush" that makes hand made, fresh products for cleaning and maintaining one's... hmmm... body. Kristin cooked dinner and she and Bob sang to me, but it wasn't nearly as good as Tom's serenade...

Riley & his team lost really bad last night, but they were all in pretty good spirits after the game. It is only the 1st one, many more to go! They play again today at 4pm, so maybe today will be better.

Good morning DDA! After one of the worst work days yesterday I am praying for a peaceful day tomorrow. Luckily, VBS is over this week so maybe the girls can get back to normal sleeping patterns by the time I show up on Monday. Terra gets a little out of sorts when she's tired, so I have been unprepared for how crazy the other two can get when they haven't slept enough. Of course, Momboss insists on waking them up in the morning too. A little later than usual, but still. If they are staying up 2 hours later than usual why are we waking them? Oh well. Today is Cow Appreciation Day and we're supposed to meet Wendy, Michael and Danae after his follow up appointments which Terra is very excited about. Then tonight is VBS program and Terra's even more excited because Phil said that he would come watch her sing. : I'll catch you all tomorrow probably! Have a great Friday!!
