Alyssa lost her first tooth tonight!

I fed her corn on the cobb to loosen it up good. ;)

aw is she excited

Um, because that's how my mom always did it? :confused3

I like to leave it open to keep an eye on it and to let the air circulate, preventing the broiler from getting too hot and burning the food.

Thanks! I think I realized that I had no idea, because I don't actually broil anything! :rotfl:

The only thing I broil is garlic bread when I make spaghetti. And it still gets black around the edges.

Is it too late to get tickets for La Nouba in August? Or should I say is it too late to get good seats for August?

Chuck broils hard salami and cheese open face sandwiches for him and the kids. He also makes tuna melts for he & Becky. I don't broil anything.

We bake our garlic bread so that it doesn't get black around the edges. That's also the reason that I don't eat the open face sandwiches because the edges are usually black. Yuck!

Yep, they have gone up to bed...

by the way the steak was yummy..Dana loved it & wanted to know "what the occasion was."
It's cuz he's letting you go to Disney! (Remember that text from him...the "you owe me" text? ;) ) Tell him debt paid! :rotfl:

I'd say no! My suggestion would be Cat 2, upper behind the middle walkway.
ETA - saw your next post!
Yes, except she is expecting pixie dust on her pillow from the TF, like Nicholas got when he lost his first tooth. Except the TF is out of PD. :guilty:
Would you like me to mail you some pixie dust? I won't be able to get it out to you until Monday if you say yes. (But that way you have some on hand for next time...)

No thanks. It's just for the 'first tooth celebration', and now there are no more 1st tooths in my house. :sad1: I'm just glad it didn't come out when she was with her dad. It's the little things that excite me.

I opened my Baltimore hotel confirmation very carefully, expecting to be showered upon. But no..........

It would have to be Tues, the 12th. I just looked at UT prices. It would be $366 for the 5 of us! :scared1: Category 2. What time does it start?

The 6pm showing is giving me section 204 (which is center) JJ (which is 3 rows from the top). That would be higher than I would want to sit but it would probably be a good view. We were in 205 GG and that was fine (but I would have preferred a few rows closer). Section 203-205 are awesome sections.

The 9pm showing is giving me section 205 HH.

What website are you looking at Vicki?

I'm thinking of surprising everyone with tickets. Nicholas has seen it on tv now 2x and has really expressed an interest in seeing it.

Well, here's my update for the weekend. I'm at Mom's up by the lake until Sunday night. Hopefully I can pull off Mom's 60th surprise party. Cross your fingers for me!
...but there's been downfalls. My grandmother (mom's mom) needs a place to stay - with the beginning stages of dimentia, she'll be staying with Mom for a few weeks starting on Monday. They don't get along much, so send some peace and patience to her for me. And then there's my grandfather (dad's dad) was taken off life support this afternoon. We aren't sure if he'll make it a day or a week. So send some peace to my dad too. He took a BIG step today calling his brother - with whom he hasn't spoken to in years - so I think he's coming to accept it. There's more to both stories, but I don't need to bore you with more details.
So everyone - have a great weekend and enjoy the weather! Our's is supposed to be 85 and sunny until Monday.

Night everyone!
