Yeah, yeah, yeah. One of these days. :teeth:

Good luck finishing your grading! :)

Actually it is notation of student compositions. They have written them and they have to be entered into a music notation software program. Rhythms and notes have to be checked and fixed and directional flow has to be added. Some of them are tedious.... :headache:

Thanks, and it was so easy to do that horse! I think I'll be doing something similar for Lucy's cake this weekend.

Like I said 9 beers and I were not a pretty sight. I have not had that much alcohol since I can't remember when. I saw that pitcher of sangria and that looks much more my speed.

Hmm, Eric always says they have the best wings. Maybe I'll have to drag him in there one day.

You are the cake queen! I can't believe Lucy is going to be one and Matty is almost two and I'm giving birth, um, soon! :rotfl2:

I like the wings at Hooters too. They're breaded though, which not everyone likes. My dad used to take me there all the time. In a lot of regions, it's actually almost a family-type place, though the waitresses are still dressed in their skimpy shorts and t-shirts.

I would love to say that age and maturity has ended those "splurges" for me but I would be pulling your leg if I did! Every once in a while I will have too much to drink and the next morning I ask my loving family to hit me upside the head the next time I decide it is a good idea. :rotfl:

Where did you go this weekend? Deep Creek Lake? The pictures were beautiful and the cake was, again, amazing.

I hope he stays a baby for a long time as well. However, I was afraid you'd end up with decals for a family of 4 and then you wouldn't be able to use them at all. They do grow up way too fast.

Thanks Vicki! :goodvibes

Oh, that sounds very tedious!

Kevin used to tell me to throw my English students' compositions down the stairs. The ones that landed near the bottom got an "A," because they were the heaviest and thus the longest. Of course, I never did that, but there were definitely times I wanted to chuck them all into the trash! :rotfl2:

Vicki thanks for the update on Glynis, glad to hear she is safely at home!

Amy cute pictures!

Robyn yet another awesome cake :thumbsup2 Sounds like you had a great weekend, loved your pictures. Molly aways brings such a smile to my face :goodvibes

Theresa sorry about the oven mishap!

Jennifer I used Garden Grocer In Dec. & plan on using them again in Aug. I have never used wegoshop, so I cannot compare. I was very pleased with everything I ordered & I liked using their site & seeing what I was ordering instead of having to right out a list(maybe that is called lazy lol). Also if there is something you need that is not listed on their site, they will get it for you.

Tammi I am afraid my swedish meatballs are nothing fantastic. I but frozen meatballs & add cream of mushroom soup :rotfl: My mil makes homemade meatballs that are really good(no soup mixed with these). If you want the recipe I can post it for you.

If it's that soon then I suggest you pack more than your make up ;)

Thanks! I am in denial about the whole one year old thing. Maybe that is why I haven't put much thought into her party. I think we'll just wing it and hope for the best! I know there will be no #4 and I don't want her to grow up. :worried: The days are long but the years are short.

I like the wings too. Somehow when I traveled for work the 2 guys I usually traveled with always found one no matter where we were. But I think hanging out there with my DH is a lot different than just 2 guys I worked with.

I suppose I should head to bed. We have a busy week with swim lessons and Vacation Bible School. Tomorrow, my best friend from college is being induced (baby #4!), and I hope to visit Jen and the twins either Wednesday or Thursday. I also get to go out to dinner tomorrow night with a good friend who I used to work with.

Noah needs to stay put! :teeth:

Sending lots of :wizard: that you all have a great week! :)

Unfortunately some of these would be better off tossed into the trash. Some students are fine composers; others think they are fine composers; others take composition because Mom and Dad said they had to.

Boy, did you nail that one.

I'm off to bed. I have to drive to Lansing tomorrow. I need to be down there two weeks in a row. I may stay next week-end but I haven't decided yet.

Wow, we watched Firehouse Dog tonight and there were 4 pages when I came back. It's nice to see people posting again.

I'm off to bed too. Good Night All.

Smacking me upside the head would have just pushed me right over the edge. I am sure there will be more but it will not be beer. I don't even like the taste of beer so why I thought drinking 9 was a good idea is beyond me.

We were about 20 minutes past Deep Creek in West Virgina. The resort is called Alpine Lake. It was gorgeous.

Thanks Vicki! :goodvibes

That's a good theory.

I had tropical sangria--- now i LOVE making sangria--so everyone come on over :)

Be there in about 2 and half hours.

Vicki thanks for the update on Glynis, glad to hear she is safely at home!

Thanks Janet! She's a keeper. :goodvibes

travel safe, Vicky!

Enjoy your busy week. I added something to your list though. ;)

Unfortunately some of these would be better off tossed into the trash. Some students are fine composers; others think they are fine composers; others take composition because Mom and Dad said they had to.

Hope it goes by quickly!

Boy, did you nail that one.

This made me teary... you are so right, Robyn. Cherish every hour.

I heard that somewhere and it just stuck. It is easier said than done some days though.

night everyone!

You're not going to wait up for me? :lmao:

'Night Jen

I'm off to bed. I have to drive to Lansing tomorrow. I need to be down there two weeks in a row. I may stay next week-end but I haven't decided yet.

'Night Vicki, safe travels.

I'm off to bed too. Good Night All.

'Night Deb.

I'm headed that way too. See you all in the AM.

Heidi-glad to hear John is feeling better...sounds just about right that he would be doing lots of yard work yesterday.

Elizabeth-no Mr. Ferret doesn't stink but there is a reason that I've been stonewalling Abi about getting a ferret...he is not a pretty thing:rotfl:

OK, so he doesn't stink. That's good! Maybe he is/was someone's pet and he has been "descented". What does Pearl think of him?

Yeah, and Elizabeth admitted a little while ago that she's still in her pjs. ;)

I think we got your storms. I hope they pass by morning, so we have swim lessons!

Yep. And I am STILL in my pajamas. What's your point? ;)

Robyn, that cake is amazing!!!

Your weekend sounds awesome. What great pictures of the kiddos, especially Lucy smiling in the sand.

9 beers?!! I can't remember the last time I had a taste of alcohol. Someone on the WFD thread posted a picture of her pitcher of sangria and I was salivating! :teeth:

Love the cake and the photos!
HOLY COW! I have NEVER consumed 9 alcoholic beverages in one night in my LIFE! :scared1: I haven't been falling down drunk since before I was pregnant with DS. Now my max is 2 drinks. More than that and my face starts to go numb! Remind me not to challenge you in any drinking games!
