My SIL bought a new video camera to use at church. She got a Flip Video and she let Joe play with it tonight. Lizzy & Joe did a "tour" of my MIL yard. Lizzy did the narration while Joe did the camera work. I was really surprised how good the quality looked. It is nice and small and so easy to use.

what kind is it

Good morning all!

Janet - I hope your back feels better soon.

Jennifer - I forgot to post yesterday that I hope your back is on the mend soon. I'm like you...I have to wear good shoes if I'm going to be up and cooking for awhile or my back will be dying by the end of the day.

Elizabeth - Glad the windows are almost done!

Becky - Keep an eye on that bite! If it isn't clearing soon, please get it checked out. Good luck with your trip preparations.

Robyn - How are the girls this morning?
Thanks Tia it felt a little better yesterday at work. Ice and some Excedrin back and body helped.

Sounds like a nice trip minus the end of "not lifting a finger". We're headed camping in a few weeks and Mom and I are already working on the easy camp meals menu. With both of us working now we've decided that we're going simple so that we can all take it easy. I really like the taco salad idea. Got any other yummy suggestions?

I am the queen of easy ideas! Some prep work before you go, and you can have nummy meals. Taco salad is one of the easiest. A note on that: you can take a bag of chips and let everyone put a handful on a plate, or you can buy the small lunch size bag of fritos and give one to everyone. Split them up the back, add the meat, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, cheese and sour cream right in the bag. Pass out the forks and you're done. Clean up is a breeze!

Other simple meals are soup and sandwiches, tinfoil dinners, hot dogs roasted on sticks.

For breakfast here's something I love to do:

The day before you leave, make a big pot of oatmeal. Once it's cooked and cooled a little, pack it into disposable bread pans. Then stick in your refrigerator. Make sure you get it into a cooler for the trip with lots of ice to keep cool. For breakfast, simply tip a loaf pan out, slice into 3/4" slices and fry on a griddle like you would pancakes. Serve hot with syrup. My kids love these! Of course, the simplest breakfast is cold cereal with milk. Clean up is easy, too.

Hope this helps!

Glynis - Welcome home, how are you feeling these days?

I'm doing ok. Some days are better than others. Given my history with morning sickness, I should be on my knees thanking heaven for how good I feel. Usually, I'm on chemo meds to handle the nausea. I do have days, now and then, that I just don't get out of bed. But not too many! Thanks for asking.

I'm just trying to hang in there until my ultrasound on the 25th.

So I have some weird spot on my leg. It almost looks like I got stung by a jellyfish. I have been no where that I could have been stung by a jellyfish. It has been there several days. Hopefully it goes away without issue. I looked up spider bite pictures and now I need to wash out my eyeballs. Let's just say I hope to never be bit by a brown recluse spider.

Those are nasty! Katie was bitten by a baby brown recluse when she was 2. It was so scary! The spider had been trapped on a sticky trap, and she tried to get it off. Got bitten on her calf, and her leg turned black! It was awful! We took the spider with us to the pediatrician, and they got her on antibiotics immediately! All the skin around the bite went black and died within a few days. She looked horrible, but the antibiotics worked quickly, so there wasn't much pain.

Don't mess around with spider bites! That's my advice for the day!

Good afternoon, DDA! :sunny:

Sorry I missed saying that this morning!

My SIL got a free one of those when she was in Oprah's audience about a year ago. It really is cool for as small as it is, and my mom decided to go out and buy one after playing with it. Alyssa loves playing with Grandma's "video camera." Knowing my mom, she'll buy us all one of these for Christmas this year. Or maybe she'll buy one for each of the grandkids. :rolleyes1

Of course, Noah was sound asleep when I started typing, but now he's screaming his head off.

Hi and bye, DDA! :wave2:

And Chanon, I'm sorry about your loss.

Hello Addicts -- I've just discovered you and hoping for some help. We're going to MNSSHP this year and I'd love to make tee shirts for DH and I. I think the designs with lots of pictures would not be good for us since we're pooh sized :) I found a design with mickey dressed as a ghost with "got candy" above it. I wonder if anyone knew where i could find that design without the writing.

I've never made a tee shirt -- any words of wisdom. Thanks! Have a magical day.

Glynis - Glad you are feeling mostly OK these days!! :thumbsup2

This day is d-r-a-g-g-i-n-g.
Princess is sleeping but the window guys are hammering so I am sure she'll be awake soon. She has entered into a phase of being very argumentative and generally rude so she's not very pleasant to be around!
She is doing pretty well with the potty so I let her wear her Tinkerbell panties today. She used the potty after lunch, then went straight to the playroom and pooped in her pants. :headache: I was NOT impressed. I am phasing out the M&M's for using the potty. Next week the only way to get M&M's will be to go poopy on the potty. She knew exactly what she was doing - I was in the kitchen talking to Dadboss so she knew nobody would catch her. Then she marched in the kitchen and said (with a HUGE smile) "I need a dry diaper!" Grrr!

There is a thread on Transportation about the buses. Some guy has now gone on for about 4 pages because he wasn't happy with the traffic on 4th of July. Yes, right, we get it. Traffic. Stay home next time. Now HUSH so people can post about the ACTUAL bus service NOW, not after the fireworks nearly 2 weeks ago.

I am rather irritable today. :rolleyes1

Hello!

Sorry - I don't design and the only shirts I have ever had done were done at the shop in the mall.

Anyway, good luck! Hopefully someone will be able to assist you! :)

Hi, there!

I think the best thing for you to do would be to go to the Creative DISigns page and start a thread with your question in it. There a lot of designers that don't post here.

Hopefully someone can help you there. I'm not a designer, but know that there are some who post here, but a lot don't anymore.

Oh, Janet? Have you seen this?
http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pintrading/page?id=visa

I am going through upcoming releases to see what pins I want to buy on our trip. I am going to get this Visa one.

We also want the DVC one that is being released 8/3, MAYBE the Cheshire Cat on my birthday 8/5, possibly the Stitch on 8/8/08 (we aren't Stitch fans but we think it is a neat date to commemorate), definitely the Jack Skellington on 8/12 with the spinning facial expressions. I see they have 10 hidden Mickey "completer" pins as purchase with purchase, so that should be fun. (OK, not really "fun" since you have to buy $30 worth of other stuff to be eligible for the completer pin purchases. But maybe people will buy them for $1 and trade them so we can find them on lanyards.)

Vicki - I am assuming they are releasing the next AP pin mid-August, but I don't see it on the website. Maybe it is on the AP site.

Hi Amy! Any new photos?

Morning everyone! Just letting you know I've been reading along - thanks for all the well wishes. They do mean alot to me.

Also my work email address has changed: The front portion is the same (first inital last name) but the ending is @aaaec.com

Have a great day! I'm at a different office today, so depending on how busy we are I might be able to stop in every once and a while. ;)

 Thanks for popping in! I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

He is almost 100% better. He is rarely coughing. He slept all night without a coughing spell and hasn't coughed yet this morning. Yesterday he had a bad morning cough but after that passed he was good. Yesterday was also the first day we stopped the neb. He still has a few days of the others meds yet, so by the time they are gone he will be good as new. Speaking of meds, last night at bedtime for his last round he has to take 3 different liquids. I was getting one ready when he helped by loosening the cap for the amoxicillian. I did not know this and when I went to shake it.............all across the kitchen floor, cabinets, stove, dishwasher. What a lovely pink my kitchen was.

Thanks for asking!
I'm glad he's feeling better! I hope your kitchen is recovering as quickly ;)

Not much longer! :yay:

How is everyone? We've been so busy since I got the clear to go out with both girls (lift the girls + carriers post op). I was so desperate to get out, that every single day we run lots of errands, visit Daddy at work, etc. It's been wonderful!

Today we got portraits done, that turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself! Actually, the photographer did such a great job that we were asked to sign a release on a few of the shots for wall portraits, their advertising book, etc. The book isn't a guarantee, but the wall portrait (at least one - they're considering 3 shots for various studios) is, and the best news is that we get the print (a huge, canvas one!) whenever they end up replacing it. I'm not sure it will hang anywhere in our house, but it's still cool I suppose! :rotfl: I definitely spent a good deal of money, but with coupons and discounts and a lot of heart break hitting the delete button on several shots ;) I ended up about $40 under what I thought I'd spend! :thumbsup2

I can't believe the girls turn 1 month today! Where in the world does the time go?!

I hope you all are doing well, and staying cool!

I hope that it gets released. We need someone to pick them up. I still have your two sitting here to mail. I'll get them out before the end of July.

Elizabeth, thoes vinylmation pins are creepy. But I love the Muppet crew in the Mickey ears. :goodvibes

Don't you hate when you have one of those days!?!

Well, it is over now! The windows are finished so we can resume our regular routine tomorrow. :)

I hope that it gets released. We need someone to pick them up. I still have your two sitting here to mail. I'll get them out before the end of July.

Eh, mail them now, or wait until I get home. Whatever works. ;) I looked on the AP site and the August pin isn't there, either. :confused3

There are several creepy pins! :rotfl2: DH can't stand Muppets. I am kind of neutral on them.
