Thanks Chanon!

:wizard: :wizard: Lot's of PD for you!

Well I guess you can call me Elizabeth, I did some number crunching and found out that I would actually save $12.18 if I changed our August ressies to room only and bought annual passes that would also cover November. The CM told me that there were no AP discounts available for August though :( . So if I order the passes now will the date be from the date of purchase or from the first use? Having the passes will be a good excuse to squeeze in another trip, maybe February?

Debbie, the AP rates for August haven't been released yet. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks we'll have them. I *think* you get a voucher that you exchange for an AP, making it valid the first day you activate it. :)

We are all three going to Sakura Steak House for dinner. It is like Teppanyaki and are very much looking forward to dinner. See you all later!

Have fun, Elin!

Have a nice dinner, it's "fend for yourself" night around here.

DH uses that same phrase! Usually on nights that I work late and eat with Princess.
DH is making spaghetti. It seems like all of the meat I bought Sunday expires within a week. Kind of odd, because it isn't usually like that. So our dinner menu is being dictated by what expires first!

This is correct ::yes::

Chanon thanks for posting the Dec. hours :cool1: Now I will probably have to get a hopper pass being MK is open till 12 am one night. Maybe I should just get another AP beings I know I will be going next year :rolleyes1

Is it raining there too?

I had hoped to get at least the backyard cut, but it started raining. Bummer. ;)

COOL! LOVE that nice simple view of the hours!!!! I was able to change the link and get Aug in that format!

We'll keep this link a secret for our thread. :teeth:

Jennifer - pixiedust: Hopefully everything is going OK for you by now!

Jen - pixiedust: for the position at the preschool!

ETA: I know I missed TONS of people...Denise, I hope everything falls into place for you! Deb, I want all those sickies gone from your home so you guys can enjoy your upcoming vacation!

We had some heavy rain earlier, we are suppose to get more tonight.

Thanks to those who have been reading my trip report--just put a short installment up--i may get another up there tonight

Abi was invited to do a Dulcimer (lap) workshop starting tonight so she's coming down this way and we'll eat over this way and she'll go to the first class. It's run by the elementary music teacher and Abi loved the dulcimer I wish we could afford to get her one of her own.

Oh, I always loved the dulcimer as well! Someone at my church made one by hand that he played, and it was the most beautiful thing -- physically, and musically! I hope she has a great time!

ETA: I didn't read as well as Elin, and have never heard a lap dulcimer in person. I'm sure it's still beautiful! The gentleman I know played the hammer dulcimer.

I updated my blog with any update I have.... it's not much. We should get my labs back in the next 30 minutes or so, and I'll go home as long as my liver works. ;) I'm so hungry!

I hope everything turns out to be fine, and I didn't mention it the other day but your last, "belly shot" photo is gorgeous, definitely somehting that needs to go in the baby book, or books.

Aug 13-22. I'm sure it really isn't going to be a problem. My mind has wandered off again, and I'm back to this silly cross-country (well, not quite) jaunt. I really have spent a lot of time on this, and I don't have a whole lot of planning to show for it.

Do I want to see Chicago? Is it worth it for an evening and half a day? Is there somewhere outside the city where I can stay and take a train in so that I don't have to drive in the city? Will it be way too expensive? This is what my mind is filled with at the moment, and (unfortunately) WDW and ToT have slipped back out of it.

If you have never been I would go. Well if it really isn't out of your way. You could see several things in a day and a half. You could do the Shedd aquarium, Navy Pier, Sears tower, Planetarium and Astronomy museum. You could just get some deep dish pizza at Ginos.

You can definitely stay outside and take the train in. Are you RVing or just vanning it??

In college I had a diverted trip from Milwaukee, WI. They took us to Chicago so that we could fly out faster out of the Midway airport. We ended up having the night in Chicago but we were definitely outside of the city and we took the train in.

I think we got to the city at like 9pm and left the city at 2am. We left for the airport at 4am. Let's just say the super nice Hilton hotel rooms we were staying in paid for by the NCAA got used little if at all that night.;) But we had a great time.

Many people with me had never been to Chicago before, so we had to see the city. I had been there, done that but I still went along for the ride.:thumbsup2

It rained here this afternoon and at the house it hailed...less than a mile difference.

I am at work...Cassidy decided to give dulcimers a try also so I am going to hang here and catch up on the DDA and read.

I have a stupid question. I have tried to research this and I still can't figure it out. Are NiMH batteries the same as lithium? I think they are not, but I need to know for packing purposes. I know they need to go in the carry-ons, not the checked bags. Apparently you can't have loose lithium batteries, they have to be inside a device? But if my batteries aren't lithium it doesn't matter, right?
