Jennifer glad you are home, please stay safe!

Those that have gone on cruise's, did you get the Ins. through Disney or elsewhere?

This 1/2 off deposit has me really leaning towards booking a cruise next year!

Happy Birthday Daniel

Well I need to plan something :rotfl:

Seriously though, the boys are really excited about doing this & even though I am not real fond of water it does sound like fun. All the pictures I have been looking are really helping!

Go Janet! :woohoo: Go Janet! :woohoo:

I wish I were in a position to plan something for August of 09. I would be all over it. But between my work schedule and my finances, I don't know what will be up.

Forgot to mention I received my Croc Capri's today & I love them! Wow are they comfy, I have new walking shoes for Disney :thumbsup2

We'll keep this link a secret for our thread. :teeth:
:thumbsup2

I would love to have this pin set:

The $185 price tag will keep me away though lol
Cool-I like the Birthday Cake one.

I have a stupid question. I have tried to research this and I still can't figure it out. Are NiMH batteries the same as lithium? I think they are not, but I need to know for packing purposes. I know they need to go in the carry-ons, not the checked bags. Apparently you can't have loose lithium batteries, they have to be inside a device? But if my batteries aren't lithium it doesn't matter, right?
NiMH batteries are NOT lithium. I didn't have any trouble traveling with my batteries in May. I must of had 16 to 20.

for those interested here's a lap(or mountain) dulcimer:

http://www.timmyabell.com/instruments/dulcimer.htm

It has a beautiful sound and Abi is actually quite accomplished on it:goodvibes
I'm sure it is a beautiful sound. You'll have to figure out how to upload a video of Abi playing. (I don't know how.........)

Chanon could you post the link to June and July's hours pretty please. That format is wonderful.
Deb-you can just change the link Chanon posted. The one she posted ended in 'dec'-change that to 'jun' and 'jul'. At least that is what I did for 'aug' and it worked. It is a very nice neat format isn't it?

We're actually in our basement now, with one touching down about 20 miles west (in our alma mater college town!). We made it home just in time! I told Kyle, I'll probably go into labor now :rotfl:
Stay safe!!!!!:wizard:

Tomorrow is Daniel's 9th birthday...I am happy & sad all at once.
I know that feeling!

Happy Birthday Daniel!!!party: :bday: :cake:

I tried changing the Dec to Jun or Jul and got an unauthorized message. It wouldn't let me see it :(

That is very cool! And I am not into pins.

Speaking of pins... a very good friend just got back from WDW and had looked everywhere for a Mary Poppins pin. She had no luck except for a Minnie Mouse version on a carousel. I see on Dispins (or whatever that site is called) that there are actually three Mary Poppins pins with Julie Andrews, not Minnie.

Has anyone ever seen one of those? Are they collector items or could they possibly be readily available? I thought if it was fairly easy to find one I would get one as a surprise for my friend.
When I went a few years ago with Kate and Kristine, all Alyssa wanted me to bring back for her was a Mary Poppins doll. I knew I was going to have trouble finding one, which I didn't, but I looked for one. The best I could do was a pin, and the only place I found it was on the pin vendor cart outside of the UK in Epcot.

The first is a boxed set available at Disneyland in a limited edition of 500. http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pintrading/pin?id=36097

The second one also happens to be Disneyland, which seems odd to me as to my knowledge Spectromagic has only ever been at WDW. But that is what it says here.

I just happened to pick out DLR release pins. I was actually just looking at the upcoming release pins looking to see if they had pics of the Panama Repo pins for August but they are not out that far in advance.

hi everyone--i need some good thoughts! I found out about a preschool job opening in a school district i would love to work for ! Im sending all my paperwork in now!!

Good luck!

3 and half hours of baseball....................................................:faint:

Daniel had some more good plays & the whole team was "on". They won 12-4in the playoffs.

I fed them mac & cheese, & gave Dan & Sophie a bath & they are sleeping. Katie is still in the shower..I hate late nights like this but it can't be helped.

Congrats to him!

I did it through Disney, but only because I was too lazy to do anything else. I think Lindsay may have used another company, and Chanon always has good info.

Happy Birthday Daniel

Very cute Deb! I'll borrow, and wish Daniel a very Magical birthday!

I have always booked my insurance somewhere else besides Disney. I think each cruise has been with a different company. We always add airfare hotel stay before and after to the insurance. Just in case something were to happen so all areas were covered.

The website I have used for every cruise was http://www.insuremytrip.com/, they give you quotes from 19 different insurance companies. The plans range from primary insurance to basic additional insurance.

Night all I have to leave here around 7am for a meeting and activities at work. Then I have the final Relay team meeting at night. I hope to make it home a few minutes before the Relay meeting. Otherwise I might just be heading straight there.

Have a great day everyone.

She went to that pin vendor and was told that the only thing they had was the Minnie one.

Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone. Let's leave it that if anyone sees one... BUY IT! :rotfl2:

Night all... I need to get the rest of the certificates for the state done tomorrow morning before I leave for my Finance Meeting at 1:00. I also have three reports to write, so I need to get some sleep now!

See you in the morning, everyone!
