It's nearly midnight and I'm finally caught up. I didn't find time to check in at all today. The good news is that I finished painting the walls :goodvibes I still have trim and ceiling touch up to conquer, but the incredibly stressful walls are done. Tomorrow we plan to finish laying the flooring. things finally seem to be coming together. I can see tiny light at the end of the tunnel

I'm glad it is nearing completion! :thumbsup2

That is super news, Jen. I cannot wait to hear all about the trip and see the magnificent pictures you took... ALL of them!

Jen, glad you all had a nice time!

Oh and the appraisor comes tonight, so if you could throw some pixie dust my way for a low appraisor, I would REALLY appreciate it!

Low appraisal, low appraisal, low appraisal... :wizard:

Wow that is a lot of stores, you will never see him lol Congratulations to your dh, I hope the route works out for him!

He says he won't go to every store every day - he'll go to some M,W,F and some Tu, Th. He will be off weekends. His vacation bid will be the same as last year where there are tons of open weeks because there are so many guys with so much time accrued. And because convenience drivers and specialists bid on the same schedule it won't matter if he is working as a specialist or working on his route. The grocery drivers work that rotating schedule where they get 3 days off every other week, and that results in their vacation days falling in funny blocks. I think his supervisor is kind of sad that he won a route because there are several district managers requesting him to cover for their drivers who are out on vacation. He has a great reputation because he works really hard. Not that he really gets anywhere by working hard and having a great reputation since nothing is merit based...:rolleyes1

Good Morning DDA,

We're back and relaxed after enjoying the beautiful waters of Mexico,

I probably won't be doing a trip report as this was a very low key trip. I do have to warn anyone cruising that is watching their weight, it is tough, I have to admit that I came back with an additional 4.5 lbs, so now I have that to take off before I can get to working on my next goal.:worried:

Welcome home, Debbie! :goodvibes
I am sorry you had a little setback with your weight loss, but you will get back on track in no time! That picture is amazing! So BLUE! I hope you all had a fabulous time!

Channon,
As if you didn't have enough on your plate already, could you PM me some info on the costs and benefits of AAA? DH and I were talking about it as we are driving on our next trip, that and the possible Disney discounts available we thought it would be worth looking into.

Thanks

Thanks Elizabeth,

I was glad to hear that your Mom's results were good!

Here we are boarding,

The rest of the family boarded later with SIL's family

And a very rare sight, dressing up for my family means putting on our good jeans. I had my hair cut the day before we left, it looked good when she fixed it but I can't get it to look good for anything. Ugggh :headache:

We're off!!

I'll check in with you after we settle in...

Take care everyone!! Safe safe

Sounds like the thunderstorms are starting to roll in.

so ends my typing ability until some pain meds get in my system. :thumbsup2
