Just a quick pop in...

Kristine, Lindsay and Glynis- :wizard: for safe journeys and magical trips all around.

Bernadette- Hope you feel better. :wizard:

Elizabeth- Congrats to DS!!!

Theresa- I hope your wrist is feeling better. :wizard:

I know there is more that I've missed but I've got to run. It's Field Day. Emma woke up telling me that her ear is "copying her", which more than likely means she has an ear infection. She says she still wants to go. I guess if it's bothering her later we will visit the urgert care. Lucy had a fever of 102 yesterday but is otherwise acting normal. I am hoping and praying that it's her teeth. When will it end? You ought to see all the medicine dispensers in the dishwasher!

Have a great day and I will chat later. But before I go here are the 2 cakes I did yesterday. The rainbow one I took to Brownies and everyone loved it. My neighbor down the street said she was going to put up a sign in my yard to bring in some business! It was chocolate with buttercream.

I hope the girls are feeling better.
The cakes look awesome. Are the letters cut out of fondant?

I agree, good luck deciding what to do Deb!

We all enjoyed this in Dec., but if you are use to riding horses you might not enjoy it as much. The horses go very slow, which was fine by me.

Deb if you go maybe you will get to ride Jack Sparrow as well

Ohhhh I'll have to tell Chris that I might get to ride Jack Sparrow :rotfl: :rotfl:

If I was willing to give up on that waitlisted night at AKV we could be finished once and for all, but I am not to that point yet. :rolleyes1

Sounds like a plan! Thanks! :)

Yay!! :yay:

We just got in from bowling. DS really enjoyed it, so I am glad we went. They told us they will not put bumpers up for kids over the age of 8! But DS did OK without them. He and his friend bowled almost the whole 2 hours. The other kids got bored and wandered off, and some of them got kicked out for damaging a game in the arcade! It is a DARN good thing none of those kids rode with me or they would have been in massive trouble. We seemed to have WAY more kids then parents - there were only 5 moms, and about 25 kids. And DS was the only one I was in charge of.

I told DS I switched part of our ressie to WL and he is excited. I hope I don't end up changing it again! :rotfl:

Oh, and some VERY good news...
My mom phoned and said her uterine biopsy was benign again! They have told her she will NOT need a hysterectomy, just a D&C. She meets with the surgeon Monday for her consult on the breast surgery.

I'm relieved that your Mom is having so many positive test results. That is so wonderful.
Elizabeth,
Yay for bowling!
Yay for the news for your mom!
Yay for DH's route!

I agree on all counts

Kristine Have a great trip. I can't wait to read all about it.

It's nearly midnight and I'm finally caught up. I didn't find time to check in at all today. The good news is that I finished painting the walls :goodvibes I still have trim and ceiling touch up to conquer, but the incredibly stressful walls are done. Tomorrow we plan to finish laying the flooring. things finally seem to be coming together. I can see tiny light at the end of the tunnel

i need some pixie dust the next month or so. my dad called his heart doctor yesterday and told them he isn't feeling to hot. dad is scheduled for a heart cath next Thursday and he might get rolled to surgery from the cath or wait a day or so to have his valve replaced. mom and i are also having a tiff about the dog going on the cruise. so i need pixie dust mom and i get over it asap and dad does well during the cath and surgery.
Pixie dust on the way.pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

3 kids = :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Bill :stir:

me :woohoo:
Love this..:dance3:

Anyone hear about the helicopter accident at the hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan? I didn't think anything of it and then my DH called. That is the hospital that Becky's boyfriend works at and he has been on that helicopter (he is an EMT). He was not involved and it sounds like no serious injuries for those involved.
Glad to see all you hold dear are okay.:cloud9:

Good morning, DDA! Well, the banana bread is in the oven (Thanks for your yummy recipe, Vicki! I use it all the time now.) and the bags are mostly packed. Since Phil is awake, I've got to run up and fiinish up that part. I forgot that BabyGirl goes to her dad's until noon today so if we come here it will only be for a few hours this afternoon and I want to try to make some nobake cookies then.

We've love any pixie dust you can spare for Rachel though. She went to the zoo with the youth group yesterday and was good yesterday afternoon. Then around 5 she started complaining of a sore throat and that her head hurt. By 9 it was a 100 fever, 102.5 at midnight and 103.5 at 6am. Not sure what's going on as she says her throat feels better and she feels fine otherwise :confused3 We're not leaving until about 3:30 so hopefully she'll feel better before then.

Catch you all later today or early next week. Happy Friday!
Pixie dust for Rachel. Have a great trip Tia...:woohoo:

Elizabeth - congrats on 13,000!

I feel like I'm forgetting someone. If I am, sorry!

I got great news! My parents have finally given me the :thumbsup2 for our December trip. So now it is official. Me, Bob, the 3 kids, his sister and adult niece, and my parents. Nothing is moving on my OKW waitlist though. I'm getting nervous. I'm ready to make my ADR's on Tues. We are going to do Tusker for dinner, probably Mama Melrose or maybe Primetime. Haven't been too impressed with the antics at PT the past 2 times though. Coral Reef (try to get diver for Nicholas' bday), LTT the night of MVMCP and Hoop Dee Doo. I'll let Nicholas pick where he wants to eat on his bday. That will be our project for Sunday evening.
Good luck with the waitlist Tammi. SO far, all of my waitlists have come through except for the WLV during Christmas. That was a long stretch anyway...:hippie:

Great news about your mom Elizabeth.:dance3:

We just watched The Pixar Story" which I had taped a few weeks ago (Thanks Stephanie for mentioning it!) What a great story! So interesting to see how Pixar came to be & all the creative genuises behind it.
Glad you liked it Anne Marie.:hippie: I liked it too. So much so that I haven't erased it from my DVR.

Lovely cakes Robyn.:dance3:

Well, I've got to get to bed. I'm finished the laundry and now I've got to get some sleep so I can vacation.....:hippie:

Hi everyone-
First, Hope everyone had a good week--there is no way I can read the 60+ pages from while I was away--anyone care for a recap?

Were not just leaving vacation, were leaving our friends.

That is super news, Jen. I cannot wait to hear all about the trip and see the magnificent pictures you took... ALL of them!

I'd love to do one. My biggest problem right now is I haven't gotten the itinerary from the congressman's office with the special tours I asked for, plus, the WH tour didn't come through, from that office, so I've had to go to another contact and haven't heard anything yet. Basically, I can't plan much until I hear more about the VIP tours.

What day of the week would work better for you guys? (and thanks for trying to make it work...)
Any day that is not raining or hot/humid. Seriously, I have no plans for that week, so after you figure out your schedule, let us know. After going to Baltimore last weekend, I had already told the kids we would go to DC this summer and do the Duck Tour, so this works out great.

Of course we want to hear about it!

Good morning. :)

I have to go to a 4 hr. training class today for teaching Religion next year. I was able to skate out of it this year, but the caught me. Then I'll swing by the Disney store to see how the sale is going. Have a great day!

Oh and the appraisor comes tonight, so if you could throw some pixie dust my way for a low appraisor, I would REALLY appreciate it!

Wow that is a lot of stores, you will never see him lol Congratulations to your dh, I hope the route works out for him!

Time will tell if the route is good or not. It's a convenience store route with 26 stores on it! :scared1: He knows grocery like the back of his hand, but he really doesn't have any experience with convenience stores. He thinks he will like it. If he doesn't then I guess he could always go back to being a specialist!

Yea! I can't wait to see pictures :thumbsup2

Gary says he is going to lay down our living room floor today. I can't wait to see how it looks!
