3 suitcases packed...2 to go :faint:...I did get an email from the concierge guy that we definitely have a Savannah view, so I was excited about that. I can't wait to be on that plane so I don't have to worry about anything else
Wow you are so close!

I was just saying to Bob, that after our hazy, hot and humid weather that we had today, I don't know how I'm going to take WDW in August! (I need Anne Marie's panting smiley.)
Here ya go!

I know once we are in the air I will be fine...right now I am feeling overwhelmed....these kids just want to bring EVERYTHING!! Jackie hands me 6 pairs of shoes :scared1:
Jackie & Katie really do sound like they would get along! Katie had 5 pairs for the cruise/WDW in April. And yes she wore them all.:rolleyes1

I've got cold and am feeling lousy. I tried to go to bed hours ago but couldn't sleep. Maybe I should try again or work on photopass some more-I think I have 2 days finished.
Feel better soon!:wizard:

Next thing you know she'll be bringing you the helium tank. :rotfl2:
:rotfl:

Jackie packed a bunch of bottles of creams and gels into her carry on last time...brought the whole place to a halt. It was not pleasant trying to shuttle everyone over to the area where they search you.

now she's onto seashells
 That's cute!

I'm worn out. So much is going on at work and others aren't dealing with things in a timely fashion so it ends up being a mess for the staff. Friday I had to escalate two serious issues which delayed a project for this week and will hopefully get things completed in time so that the project next week isn't postponed. I came home and slept for two hours. It was pure and simple emotional exhaustion.
Hope you can get some well neede rest Vicki.

I decided on this pair of Croc flip flops

http://www.shoebuy.com/crocs-capri/194103/433183

I hope they are as comfy as they look!
I have them in black. I wore them in April & the toe thingy got annoying after a day but if you have body glide it should be fine. The most comfortable (yet not as attractive) flip flops I have worn to Disney are the Crocs Athens. Love those!

We leave Sunday night. We have to be at the airport by 10:00 pm and our flight takes off at 12:38 in the morning!!! Talk about your red-eye! I plan to sleep that first leg to JFK. We do have an hour layover at JFK, and then take off for Heathrow! I'm excited, but kind of sickly nervous about it!!! I'm really hoping that the morning sickness gives me a break! It hasn't been too bad, so I'm hoping the flying won't make it worse!
:wizard: for no morning sickness! You are going to have a great time!

Marci,
Hi!!!

Yup, one suitcase. Of course, I'll weigh it after it's packed, and then I may have to divide it up. We'll see. We're not taking many clothes, as my cousin has offered us her laundry facilities and teenage children to help wash said clothes while we are touring.

Should be interesting to see if I can get it all in one bag and 2 carryons!

Glynis

pixiedust: for no morning sickness. Have a wonderful time, hope you take lots of pictures.

Well, I got my wish for cooler weather. During the night it dropped into the upper 50s or low 60s in our area. This should last for a day or so... ;)

And, Theresa, I agree 100% with you about our stickiness factor compared to Florida. I have found it to be more humid in this area in the summer than any time we have visited WDW in July or August. Our temps are not that much cooler either, although I think if we would look at historical facts and figures I would probably be wrong. :rotfl2:

I think what makes Florida a bit better also is there aren't quite as many icky bugs to go with the stickiness!

Also, who can give me the number for booking the Wishes cruise? Do they still do the cruise on the nights of MVMCP?

That is how I have done it for years too, Vicki. Now the only person who really needs my help with packing is Bob... :rolleyes1

I also do that with my girls...if I let Jim pack his own bag it would be one pair of jeans, two shirts and 6 pair of underwear and 12 pairs of socks for an overnight!! :lmao: The boy took all of his socks last summer (18 pair) for a week and 6 pairs of shoes ( only wore his 2 pairs of sandals:confused3 )

Thanks, Heidi!

Lots of pictures are a must! I will also take great notes. Katie, too. She's already packed her sketch pad and pencils so she can sketch what she sees. How did I get such an artistic child?

yes they do it on mvmcp nights....but I think you would be seeing the xmas version that they do

I'm a bit worried about that! Maybe I should just invite her to come do my packing. Do you think the fact that Katie and I are only taking one suitcase combined will throw her over the edge?

yup...I think you've thrown her over!!:lmao:

Thanks. I can't decide whether to do the fireworks cruise on Nicholas' bday or go to MVMCP on his bday. If I remember correctly, don't they do the Christmas wishes everynight? When we were there before we raced over to MK to see Wishes and it was the same version that they did the night of MNSSHP.

I am not sure I will ever do another xmas party...of all of the different parties I have gone to, I found these to be WAY too crowded. I was amazed that they all seemed to sell out last year. The first year we went, it was so pleasant and uncrowded

Wow Glynis, what an amazing itinerary! You and Katie are going to have the trip-of-a-lifetime! :goodvibes

I think I want to go too!!!

You are going to have such a great time. You really are doing and seeing a lot!

We are doing a lot! I worry about that, but figure we'll have the plane ride home to sleep.

Thanks, Amy! I'll be taking tons of pictures, and I promise to bore you all silly with my trip report when I get back!

Marci,
Hi!!!

Hi there. Since I can't talk Elizabeth in to changing her dates to be there when we are, how am I coming on my plea for people to join us on the cruise next summer? I really think you, Dana and the kids would love it!

I just know Kristine and her family will love their cruise and want to go on a longer one, so I'm reminding her that if she books on board, August 1, 2009 Eastern looks like a good one! ;)

I think you might need a vacation afterwards, but it sounds like an absolutely perfect trip! You're seeing so much! :yay:

cross your fingers that Bill will like it...he's the one that is worried about it. the whole Poseidon Adventure thing :rotfl:
