DDA Chapter 7

Not me... I will be a bit preoccupied with a little thing called graduation. Kathrin is flying into Richmond tomorrow morning and will spend a couple of days with some friends there. Kristin and Bob and I will head down on Friday evening after I am done teaching. We have a couple of rooms at the Richmond Marriott booked and we plan to party all weekend!

Nicholas is studying about China in school and on Friday they are having a Chinese buffet. I was too late in submitting my name for donating paper products, so now I have to send a dish. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can send? It has to be something already prepared, and preferably won't need to be heated.

Ditto on what has already been said. I would call a Chinese Food place & maybe they can make you a fruit platter with lycee (sp?)

Good morning!

Last night we went to Katie's theater show. She sang & danced. I asked her afterwards how she felt up on stage & she said "I love it!". Unfortunately I forgot my camera. Now we are done with theater until September. We looked into the summer camp but #1 it was $2400 & #2 it ending with 3 shows August 17-19 & I am not cutting any days off Disney for anything. She was fine with it..she likes to sit on the beach all summer & do nothing but read & tan.

I managed to get the checking account balanced and bills paid. That took forever. There is lots of drama happening around us as my Mom and Dad are fighting and my brother is having problems with my nephew. I'm trying very hard to stay out of it, but my Parent's are both trying to pull me in. I will not pick sides. Someday they will have to learn to kiss and make up all by themselves.

I'm off to bed.

I hope harmony is restored soon!

No plans here to see Narnia....but I want to go see Sex & the City when it opens!

I want to see that as well! In fact, there are several movies in the next few weeks I'd like to see. Maybe Memorial day weekend...

I promise I read but having a day off today meant I didn't have time for the computer

Cassidy is lettering tonight I am so proud (now to find the jacket money). Thankfully the rain stopped about a half hour ago so that we don't have to walk in it to the school.

I have the girls birthday shirts in the laundry right now so that they can wear them tomorrow....Debbie they love them a ton!!

I was just going to say the same thing! I saw lots of lightening driving in to Dallas.

Elin -- you're right -- Andrew wasn't thrilled with being pegged, but he's enjoyed the sympathy from the Mom's... I teased him and told him that I was going to make the picture of his goose egg (which is on his thigh/backside) my wallpaper -- he didn't think that it would be funny with his backside on my computer, even though you can't really tell from the pic where it is.

Janet, the living room set is lovely! I really like the couch. It's similar to one of ours, but I like the shape/style better. Great taste!
