There was a pretty simple recipe in Family Fun last year around Chinese New Year. I think it was just refridgerated pie crust.

Not me... I will be a bit preoccupied with a little thing called graduation. Kathrin is flying into Richmond tomorrow morning and will spend a couple of days with some friends there. Kristin and Bob and I will head down on Friday evening after I am done teaching. We have a couple of rooms at the Richmond Marriott booked and we plan to party all weekend!

Elizabeth - Although CRO always says it will take up to two billing cycles to receive your credit, I have found that the credit is usually there within a week or so.

Hi there! I just wanted to check in after this week's appointment. My BP is still right where it has always been (low), and I gained almost 2 pounds which brings me to my record net gain for this whole pregnancy at 12.5 pounds!

Both babies did well on their biophysical profiles today, and I'm still at home for now. I'm effaced 50% (from 40ish the past few weeks), so I have to continue bedrest from here and call a couple times per week to report any changes. She did suggest my hospital bags be not just packed, but now in the car. Otherwise, it's on to next Tuesday...

That is terrific, Jennifer. Take it easy! One step at a time!

Nicholas is studying about China in school and on Friday they are having a Chinese buffet. I was too late in submitting my name for donating paper products, so now I have to send a dish. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can send? It has to be something already prepared, and preferably won't need to be heated.

Good luck with that! (I love to learn about China. But when I realized how expensive it would be to go there I backed off a bit.)

I wonder how hard it would be to make fortune cookies, and come up with some of my own fortunes for the little second graders.

In the past when I have cancelled things it hasn't taken more than about a week to get the credit, but we had already paid $1200 on that ressie so maybe that's why they are telling me it will take such a long time.

I managed to get the checking account balanced and bills paid. That took forever. There is lots of drama happening around us as my Mom and Dad are fighting and my brother is having problems with my nephew. I'm trying very hard to stay out of it, but my Parent's are both trying to pull me in. I will not pick sides. Someday they will have to learn to kiss and make up all by themselves.

I'm off to bed.
