Thank you. That sounds like a good way to start for Alyssa.Great job for Katie. She sounds like Alyssa, very into drama. I'm considering putting her into a drama camp this summer. There is one for a week, 3 hours each morning, culminating with a show on the last day.
I know I am repeating myself, but you have done a beautiful job with your DD's & I hope to even come close to your relationship with them when my kids are older. Thanks so much, Jennifer. You are very sweet to say that.![]()
I am proud of their accomplishments but truly think of them as theirs! I think Bob and I did a good job in laying the foundation work, but the two of them have far surpassed and dreams I might have had for them when I held those little babies in my arms so many years ago. As I have said before, if they were not my own daughters I would want them to be my daughters' best friends. I think they are pretty spectacular young women.

We are very proud of him. He was able to turn a disappointing situation around for the birthday boy and he exhibited his best behavior without us even reminding him
My DB and DSIL called him this morning to thank him.

But he wants NO PART of dance or sports and it is mandatory to do all 4. So that was the end of that.
I HATE, HATE, HATE group projects because you can not force the other people in your group to work diligently. If they don't care if they fail then they are going to drag the whole group down and there isn't really anything that can be done. And really, giving DS a failing grade when he was out on an EXCUSED absence? NOT fair. I am just not going to go to battle with her when there are only 15 days of school left. If he fails social studies this 6 weeks then he fails. I did e-mail her so we'll see what she has to say.
We're trying Spoodles in August.
