Well, no rain. I wish I could have a job where I was wrong 90% of the time and still get paid. We were supposed to have rain all afternoon and evening yesterday, into today, which we didn't. So that means we DO have our 8AM soccer game. Or they will cancel it at the last minute. Guess I better start getting ready. TTFN.

Good morning, Elin, and to the rest of you eventually.

:rotfl:

Good morning, Tammi! :wave2:
I wish you all didn't have to go to soccer this morning too. It is raining already in Richmond, if that helps. (Kristin probably won't have opening "night" of Merchant of Venice today in the amphitheater!)

Good Morning DDA,

It has been another hectic week around here, but I was able to finally get things caught up from my week off at work. I don't have anyone to fill in, they just stack my paperwork up for me to handle when I get back.

I have read along but I didn't quote so I'm sure I'll leave someone out,

Elizabeth - I know I missed you but I hope you have a nice visit with Mom, and you come back feeling better about the situation.

Elin - Congratulations to Kristen, you have two wonderful daughters.

Alyssa - Hope you have a Fun Fancy Nancy party today!

Lots of PD :wizard: for luck to all the kiddos and there various sports this weekend.

Heidi - Good to see you, I hope your Mom's recovery is quick

Chanon - You do have a lot of choices there, I'm afraid I wouldn't be of much help in the decision. Your date is getting closer quickly now!

Denise - be careful in your travels this weekend, you've got some bad weather headed in that direction. Hope your anniversary was wonderful..

Robyn - Hi :)

Becky - I got your e-mail and will be sending something your way, I'm just not the most organized person in the world.

Deb - You make me tired just reading your posts. You'll be so happy you did all the work when it is done, we'll be waiting for pictures. I'm so sorry to hear about your loan officer, such a tragic loss.

Janet - I ordered the same bag you did, I've been looking at a new one for our upcoming trips, the code had expired though, but it was still a good deal.

Vicki - Best wishes with your job, I don't think I could move from your beautiful home if I were you though. I would love to live on 5 acres, although it is absolutely beautiful with the snow that is something I con't think I could deal with and I know DH couldn't, he complains about the cold here.

Jen - Looking at your ticker we will be cruising at the same time, we leave on the 24th of May. We'll be headed in opposite directions though.

Glynis - Sorry to hear about your MIL, hopefully this will be the one to add stability to her life. It is a scary thought that she is giving out your information to strangers, :scared1:

Jennifer - Glad to hear the babies are doing well

Bernadette - hope your feeling better, we'll be waiting to see your new creations.

Theresa - Hope Abi is feeling fine today, and no you're not a bad Mom. One thing I had to learn with my asthma was to try and calm down during an attack, it can be very frightening. I had my first bad one at work, and my boss was angry that I wasn't answering his questions, he didn't understand that when you can't breathe, you can't really talk either. Does Abi use her inhaler before she does any exercise? That's one of the things my Dr. suggests.

Kristine - Love the Gnome, I have a few our in the yard, I have to keep them in the back where it is fenced in, if you put them in the front they will disappear, I know that first hand.

Lindsay - Good to see you, hope your job calms down soon.

Well it's been slow going but I have reached another mini goal, this one has extra meaning as I'm now at the weight I was in 1992, so I've taken off 16 years of weight gain. I had to go shopping for new under garments, I had a serious case of droopy drawers, :rotfl: . DH wants to know why when women lose weight they lose their breasts too, :confused3 , sorry. I also bought some jeans that fit as all my others were falling down, and I had to have something for work. I still didn't buy too many things as I've still got a long way to go. DH said I need to get rid of the bigger clothes, I use two closets so I think I will seperate them into one closet, getting rid of some but keeping some too. I've been down this road before and unfortunately I know how hard it is to maintain.

We're headed over to Mobile this afternoon to spend the evening and then attend a Banquet tomorrow, DD is being entered in the National Honor Society and they are having a Banquet in their honor.

I realized this week that one of my life goals will be met next month when DD receives her degreee, I've preached to my girls since they wre little that they would have a college education. I've always told them that if they were to get married and decide to be a stay at home Mom that that would be great, but they needed something to fall back on if they ever needed it. I'm very proud to say that they listened, :yay: .

Have a Great weekend friends!

Thank you, Debbie. That means a lot coming from you (see below).

Were we separated at birth?? I have said the very same thing to my girls since they were little and we knew there was every reason they should have a college education. We realize that it is not necessary or even advisable for everyone, but for them there was no other path they should have taken.

I congratulate you and your DH in making certain that this goal was met. And I know that your wonderful DDs will thank you every day of their lives. You have made a remarkable accomplishment and should be congratulated! So...

Good morning, DDA!

I am just popping in for a minute. We had a good flight (after an hour delay for weather) and yesterday was fine. Had dinner with my aunt & 3 cousins (and of course DS and Mom). Not sure what's on the agenda today. I am exhausted. I couldn't sleep last night.

Mom has dial-up and no coffee :scared1: so things aren't moving too quickly this morning!

:wizard: and  to all!

Good morning, Elizabeth. Sounds like a good start yesterday. I hope you find coffee this morning at some point. High-speed internet will have to wait till you come home, I am afraid. Enjoy your day!

Now I have to get myself in gear and get some things done around here.

Today is opening day here for little league. Dana took Daniel to the parade & pictures. I wanted to go my my tummy says "no".

Stephanie,
Hi!!! Sounds like a wonderful time!

Tammi,
Sorry no rainout.

Deb,
Congrats on your droopy drawers!!!!:cool1: Awesome!! Yes unfortunaley when I loose weight that the first place it comes from. Sounds like you have done a great job with your DD's. :thumbsup2

Elizabeth,
Get thee to Starbucks (or Dunkin Donuts!)

Janet,
Yay for 30 days!

I did get the kids packed yesterday & today I am working on the rest. This time 2 weeks from now we will be at the Kennedy Space center.:thumbsup2

Morning DDA!

Mom flew in last night for a funeral today. Thanks for all the suggestions on the menu! Mom was looking over the choices and doesn't like the shrimp scampi choice for some odd reason (maybe price? :) ) and keeps pushing the stredul. We'll try both and go from there. :thumbsup2

Hi and Bye! I gotta finish an assignment by noon and frankly I do not care anymore. Is this semester over already??:confused3 :confused3 I have two assignments due Tuesday as well.

Talk to you all later. Sorry to be so negative, again.

Since the character Sweeney Todd has occurred in many literary forms for the past 200 years or so, I wold not put it past Tim Burton to find a way to make one of his famed sequels.

I didn't watch Sweeney Todd. This was about Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a sequel to the Sweeney Todd. There are lots of people who like shows like that.

I hope that I am as successful as the two of you with my girls. It isn't looking good with Katrina. I'm hoping the counseling that she starts in a couple of weeks help her choose a career path. She is so much like me - I quit school for a few years until I could decide what I wanted to be. I met my goal and graduated by the time I was 30.
