Well we bought some new temporary flooring for the bathroom. It is the stick & peel squares. It was only 28 cents a square, so this will work till we do the total remodel :thumbsup2

That is my cousin Ricky, his brother Bobby is the Red Head. It is funny my Aunt Jennifer, myself and Bobby all look like our hair color is similar. Only his is natural, he is 13 and taller then me. :upsidedow

Thanks, for the offer on the help.:cloud9: I need to think of myself as awesome all the time and not just part of the time.:thumbsup2 :cool1:

Thanks for the comments on the pictures.

Goodnight everyone!

Becky-my cousin Ronny is taller than his dad (6'5")...I would guess by about 2 inches...he is 30 something...cute kid but has some problems.

 I hope they were playing, not fighting!

since they are covering for each other I have no clue. I do know that Jim and Cassidy spent the majority of the afternoon fighting. (over a darn puzzle):headache:

OK.
My mother just called. The surgeon she saw today is certain it is cancer. They did a biopsy, and they told her if it comes back negative they will do it again becasue they are convinced it is cancer. There is a 3 cm tumor.
She sees the oncologist next Wednesday. The surgeon she saw today said they will probably do a round of chemo first to try to shrink the tumor, then she will have a mastectomy.
I told her I will fly up for her surgery. She wants to put it off until school is out. I told her she will NOT put it off.
I don't know what else to say right now. I am so worried that she has let it go for too long.

I am sorry to hear this, Elizabeth.

we did some of that way back when...when my mom bought her house it lasted 17 years. We liked it better than some of the other stuff available...and a plus was it was easy to put down!!:thumbsup2

I've read along but haven't had time to reply. :wizard:, :cheer2: and 's all around. And my enter key broke on my laptop so it's very difficult to do much. The new keyboard should be here tomorrow. Molly and I just spent 3 lovely hours at the "Moon Doctors", the urgent nighttime clinic. She started screaming this afternoon when she use the potty saying it burned and then would not use the potty again. I figured there was no way that I was going to wait, I didn't want her to fear going to the potty. Thankfully, it seems that now there is nothing but the dr. did give a prescription in case it starts to get worse in the next few days. I am now headed to bed as I am exhausted- hungry too as I skipped dinner. At least I won't waste away ;)

I read everything (you all were chatty today!) and am now caught up! Good to hear from Becky ad Robyn. And Theresa is on here when the rest of us are!

Time for bed now, as I am falling asleep at my computer. :) Good night, everyone!

Thank you! Gary does not like the potatoes cooked with the roast. So mashed potatoes it is!

I plan on making his tomorrow, I will let you all know how everyone liked it.
Mashed is the best and if you ask my mom she will just say... it only takes a few minutes and you have nice hot mashed potatoes.

Morning, everyone!

Well, I just finished going through all the toys in the playroom and have a huge garbage bag full of stuffed animals ready to go away. I'm not sure where I'll take them, yet. I can drop them off at good will, or I can take them to the local police station. They like to keep a supply of stuffies on hand for when they have to remove children from domestic situations. Maybe I'll give them a call first and see if they have a need. If not, off to Good Will they go! It feels good to get rid of some of the toys in this house. Now, I need to tackle the kids rooms while they are gone. I should be able to get rid of a lot while they are at school.

Just got word from my nephew Sam, that his wife, Julia miscarried their 4th baby on Easter Sunday. It's really hard, as they live in Arkansas and none of the family is close by. She was only 6 weeks along, but it was still emotionally painful for her. I keep wondering what's going on in my family with all the miscarriages. Just not meant to be, I guess!

I have been doing spring cleaning and it does seem like I am getting far, but I know I am.

PD to Sam and Julia, that is just so hard.

One more thing before I go.....
My ME vouchers came in the mail today :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

:thumbsup2

We just in from the Dr's. Sophie tested negative for strep & ear infections so the Dr just thinks its viral. She is in great spirits today which was not the case yesterday.

Yesterday she was dizzy & in a fog which scared me. She wanted BK for lunch so I treated her to that & now she is laying down watching t.v. Thank you for all your well wishes.:goodvibes

MY MIL's appointment went well. Dana took a half vacation day just to take her to the Dr. as she was complaining yesterday that she had no one to take her (call a cab lady!

) Anyway.....So he takes her & once in the office she goes on & on to the staff that she hates to ask her kids to drive her everywhere & we consider her a burden.  :headache: After the Dr. (they think she has an infection but nothing serious thankfully) she goes on & on to Dana in the car about how great his older brother is
1.gif
& that when she thought she was "really" sick how she was going to leave the older brother all her jewelry. I just give up with her!!! I do not want or need anything from her but why does she say things like that to him???

Dana is such a good son to her & she just doesn't see it. :sad2: She's an

PD to Sophie
Sorry about MIL, they have a way about them sometimes. Mine hasn't called in months. She is mad at Mark. The funny thing is he likes my mom more than his.

I'm home from the Speech appointment. It was an absolute waste of time as I suspected. I just needed to listen to them advise me of my parental rights (they had already mailed me the pamphlet) and sign a couple of consent forms. Now they have 60 days to complete his evaluation and determine if he actually qualifies for the program :confused3 She is supposed to contact me by the end of the week with an eval date.
Sorry it didn;t go better than you hoped. I hope they get an eval for you soon.

So I am headed out to dinner..but i just wanted to stop by and say

IM GOING TO ALASKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:) :) :) :) :) :)

:cool1: :banana::thumbsup2 :woohoo: :yay:

Thanks for asking. He is still coughing but not nearly as badly. He was congested last night too. I kept him home again today just to be sure he's taking it easy. But with the weather we had today he spent most of the day outside. It was 75 here and the kids were having a blast. I've gotten some stuff done around the house too. I took the valances/curtains off of 8 windows and the sliding glass door and washed and rehung them. Then I scrubbed the tile around my soaker tub. The powder from my makeup seems to attract to the grout. Now it is all sparkly white again.

PD for Nicholas.

Riley's baseball practice starts April 1st. The coach wants to have practice 4-5 nights a week
:scared1: Holy Cow that is a lot.

OK.

I've been working away at my projects. Colby's room now looks more like a storage unit as we have put a lot of the kitchen and living room furniture in there. Now I will only need to cover a few big pieces when I sand and paint. I also took down the curtains from the great room 5 sets and those are washed. I have already done our bedroom curtains and the ones from Hunter's room. Nick's are in a pile to be washed. All of Hunter's old bedding is washed put away. I have ordered new bedding so he will have to live with sheets and a blanket for now. I've also dug out the drywall cracks, making them larger to accept the durabond repairs.

I have a dust allergy and this is making me itchy and my hands are so dry they are cracking. I keep applying ointment to them which helps. Tonight I even have a bit of a sore throat, which is definitely dust related. removing curtains and moving furniture kicks up a lot of dust :sad2:

Keep it up, you will be so happy when your done.

Hey, sounds like a great short term fix to me.

PD to Molly. That could not have been fun for either of you.

Theresa - Well, if your DH and your DD are going to fight it should definitely be over something important like a puzzle. ;)

Robyn - I hope Molly is feeling OK tomorrow! :wizard:

I can't sleep.

Robyn - I hope Molly doesn't have any painful potty issues today. :wizard: for no setbacks!

Good morning. :)
