Lots of :wizard: :wizard: for Sophie and your MIL. I hope both have good reports from the doctor today. for the funk. Glad your talk went well with your co-cathecist - sounds like that was the right decision to make for you.

Jen - good luck with putting in your time off for the cruise! :wizard:

Marci - glad to hear you're not getting worse. Hope the AC man comes today - looks like you guys will need it over the next few days.

Elizabeth - glad to hear you're on the mend, too. :goodvibes

Thanks for the ditto-able post!!:thumbsup2

It is absolutely beautiful here today and guess where I am stuck all day?? Yup work...the boss gave me less than 24 hours notice that he won't be here the rest of the week which really means I will be the only person here. He was a stinker yesterday when I had an off-site meeting he asked me what it was for....I almost said none of your business (and it isn't) but I was a nice girl and said it was personal (which it was)...it's not like I have had a proper lunch hour in the last 3 weeks.

Glynis or anyone that has made the pot roast, does this make a good gravy for mashed potatoes?

YES, YES, YES!!!

You might want to thicken it a little bit at the end of cooking time with a cornstarch/water mixture.

Morning, everyone!

Well, I just finished going through all the toys in the playroom and have a huge garbage bag full of stuffed animals ready to go away. I'm not sure where I'll take them, yet. I can drop them off at good will, or I can take them to the local police station. They like to keep a supply of stuffies on hand for when they have to remove children from domestic situations. Maybe I'll give them a call first and see if they have a need. If not, off to Good Will they go! It feels good to get rid of some of the toys in this house. Now, I need to tackle the kids rooms while they are gone. I should be able to get rid of a lot while they are at school.

Just got word from my nephew Sam, that his wife, Julia miscarried their 4th baby on Easter Sunday. It's really hard, as they live in Arkansas and none of the family is close by. She was only 6 weeks along, but it was still emotionally painful for her. I keep wondering what's going on in my family with all the miscarriages. Just not meant to be, I guess!

 for your niece Glynis, I know how heartbreaking this is for her. I went through 5 miscarriages before I was blessed with Garrett. So there is hope :goodvibes

I am going into work for a few hours so I guess I should get moving!

Gary is back at painting, should be interesting getting cleaned up for work lol

Have a great day all!

If I typed out something would you all mind reading it and telling me what you think??

One of our local radio stations (kosi101.com) is part of the year of a million dreams and will be giving away a trip to Disneyland to somebody who is nominated and the person who nominates them....and I want to nominate my best friend (other than the DDA...tried to figure out a way to nominate all of you;) ).

Good morning, DDA!!! Good to see you all!! We had a great time with our company here, but then spent part of the last two days trying to rid the computer of some trojan horses. I think the girls and their MySpace activities inadvertently infected the computer (loading an application, not MySpace itself). But, I'm bad now and caught up!

I missed a few pages over the weekend, but went back to scan for Easter pictures and then read from there. Sounds like a large dose of :wizard: is needed for some, plus friends and family. You all remain in my prayers daily.

We had beautiful weather on Thurs and Fri for our trips to the Arch and zoo. The zoo was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed it.

Easter Sunday dawned with snow flurries followed by crazy snow showers. It was never enough to mess with the roads, but it did coat (and then melt and then coat again) the yard a few times. Of course, this is the dress that I had made for Terra the day before and she didn't have a sweater to go with it. So, we wore sandles with no socks/tights, a sun dress and a winter coat to church.

After church we went to Ponderosa for lunch as the pizza places all seemed to be closed thus thwarting our plans to order pizza before the OK gang hit the road. The last two days were just spent getting the house back in order and caugt up on emails, posts, etc. (Okay so Monday I was lazy, but yesterday was spent on those things. :thumbsup2 )

I hope that everyone had wonderful Easters and that all are doing well.

Well, now that I'm caught up, I need to get busy. I've got a huge pile of clothes to sort through. My aunt has been losing weight as well and brought me a ton of stuff for my next couple of sizes. (A total blessing as much of my stuff is getting too big and I didn't want to go buy anything.) Since the charity truck is coming tomorrow, I guess I'd better see what I'm keeping and what can go to them. Catch you all later!

Theresa - I would be happy to read it but my brain is foggy. I have a headache to go with my congestion today.:sad2:

Tia - What a cute dress! Momboss had to go buy a sweater for Princess to wear with her dress. I think she wore socks instead of tights, but we had both on hand.

Does anybody know what the credits for DxDDP look like? I am confused about how they might carry over from one day to the next. Is is basically just 3 TS credits per person, per day, and if you choose to use them for CS they click off like that? I think that's how it works, but I can't tell for sure.

Theresajoy on the boutique thread made a cute Prince Charming outfit for her son. It look nice and fairly cool too

Hey TeresaJoy is my long lost friend (really as most of you know). Maybe, I'll ask her for the pattern so that Mom can make one for my nephew.

Wish you felt better, Elizabeth.

From what I can tell... with DxDDP you get 3 TS credits (per person per night of your reservation) to use as you wish. You may use them for CS, TS or Signature restaurants. There is no difference in how they are deducted.

I forgot to say there are 2 snacks pp per night of stay too.

Theresa I would love to read what you have written!

Tia great pictures, glad you all had a good time!

Elizabeth sorry to hear you are still not feeling well

:grouphug: I will keep your nephew and his wife in my prayers!
