Absolutely!!! :) What day are you leaving to go to WDW?

We are planning on going the day before our cruise. We will have a rental minivan. The website looks confusing to me too so we are going to wing it when we get there & see what we can see.

Ok I am off..wish me luck!:lmao:  :sad2:

I leave on Sunday May 4th. You'll have to tell me all about KSC when you get home.

:wizard: Good luck!:wizard:

Rees had his IEP for the 2008-09 school year yesterday, and the school ONCE AGAIN is just going overboard to make sure he has EVERY resource possible and whatever he needs. :yay: And his new wheelchair should be here in the next 2 months. It may not arrive in time for our trip. If now, we will just rent one for the week.

Yeah for the IEP!:woohoo:

:wizard: Hope the new wheelchair arrives soon!!

Happy Saturday and Easter weekend, DDA!

You guys have been quite chatty the last few days! I'm sure I'm going to forget something, as I caught up in bits and pieces!

Ann Marie - good luck with the dinner tonight! Your garden sounds wonderful! I so don't have a green thumb.

Vicki - glad to hear you stopped last night, and your continued travels weren't too trying. Enjoy talking Disney with your family! :thumbsup2

Janet and Bernadette - thanks for the reminder to look at the recently posted FG&F pictures! It is so beautiful - I'm really excited! :goodvibes

I've loved all the Easter pics and the egg-dying stories. Kristine, I just had to laugh at the blue dye - I thnk you need to avoid at all costs. ;) Everyone's kids (and eggs) looked great!

Marci - I'm so sorry that your allergies are back in full force. I hope your huge ulcer goes away soon - I think a lot of vegging sounds exactly like what you need! :wizard: :wizard: if Randy has an interview upcoming.

Elizabeth - sorry to hear about your throat. At least make sure you have some good OTC products to get you through tomorrow, since a lot of stores will be closed. I was sorry to hear that DH didn't pass the test, but it sounds like he has a plan on how to put himself in a better position next time. :goodvibes

Theresa - so sorry that the CB got to you. I rarely go over there for that reason - I can get emotionally beat up by people in RL, don't need it to happen during my DIS-ing time, too. Glad some were sticking up for you!

Denise - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Your day (and your cake!) sound wonderful. So glad to also hear that John is feeling better. :goodvibes For what it's worth, I like the 1st nightstand with all the drawers, too. You'll have to post a pic once it's all done. Jonathan and I bought a whole suite of furniture last year as our Xmas/anniversary present, and it's so nice to finally have "grown up" furniture. :goodvibes

Tia - I hope you're still enjoying all your company!

Elin - I think a trip to Richmond sounds like it's in order. :goodvibes I hope Kristin has better luck with her lines today! Those new shoes look very comfy!

Debbie - so glad to hear you had another good doctor's appt. the other day. Also glad to hear that DD isn't currently pregnant, since it sounds like they have a lot on their plate! Safe travels for all your Easter visits.

Jen - sorry to hear you've had such problems with your laptop. We have Dells for both our personal PC and my laptop. Jonathan has an IBM laptop for work that he likes a lot - it has that "pointing stick" instead of a touchpad, which would drive me nuts. I agree with everyone - unfortunately, Dell has changed for the worse. :sad2: I hope you have success finding a new one you like!

Jennifer - glad to hear you and Kyle are getting some much-needed time off. Sounds like everything with your girls is coming along fantastically. :yay:

Deb - wow, sounds like you've already accomplished a lot! I hope your throat begins giving you some relief soon.

For anyone else I may have inadvertently missed - lots of :wizard:  :woohoo: .

If I'm readind the KSC site correctly then the bus ride would cost us about $350.:scared1: ($592.65 for tickets for the 7 of us vs admission only of $250.16). I think we can get a rental car less than that!

Wonderful news! It sounds like you guys are very fortunate to have such a supportive school. :wizard: :wizard: for the wheelchair arriving in time.

What are your dates again? We'll need to see if we can find an opportunity to say "hi." My mom and I will be at the GF from 5/1 - 5/5.

Tell her ROLL TIDE for me! We're taking the kids to their first Bama game this fall. They play Clemson at the GA Dome in August, and my FIL got us 5 tickets.

Yes, he is starting to taste food again which is FANTASTIC! The ENT thinks it was neurological, even though it didn't show on the MRI. Hopefully, he'll be in full swing for Disney!

That will be so much fun! Do they still have their jerseys and cheerleading uniforms that fit, or will they wear something different?

I'm so thrilled that John is tasting foods again!

Me too. The chair wood is cherry with black veneers, so that was why we were wondering about getting the black and cherry table vs the solid cherry. We're going to pull the chair over to them today to compare. The bed is grand and makes quite a statement. It will come in right after our Disney trip. I can't wait!

Please post pictures when you get it all put together!!

Does anyone know if Yak & Yeti takes Landry's GCs? I have some I normally use for RFC, but there is no info on the Landry's site about Yak & Yeti other than to give directions on how to get there!

Ooh, good question. It would be great if they did! I think your best bet might be just to call the restaurant directly.

How wonderful! :goodvibes

Bernadette, adorable pictures! :goodvibes

YIKES!!!!!

I thought I read on the S/D thread that you could return a rental car to the Dolphin at any time - you're just supposed to give the keys to the valet, and tell them it's a return. Maybe you could call them and see what they would suggest?

We are at the CR April 26-April 30 and the Beach Club April 30-May 4. We're going to the P&PP on 2nd.

So, we had a minor miracle here last night. I haven't posted it outright (since you never know who else is reading our thread), but Jonathan has been working in Chicago for the last month, and was slated to come home last night. Of course, thanks to Kristine's post and another friend on the DIS, I knew that conditions were really bad, and getting worse.

Amazingly, he did make it out of Chicago last night, and was only about a half-hour late arriving home. :woohoo: He said so many flights around his on the board kept getting cancelled or delayed, but for whatever reason, his flight remained "on time." I'm just so thankful that he's home, and safe. :goodvibes

(So Elizabeth, there is some hope for Momboss!)

Emma looks so pretty in this picture with her egg!

I actually left this board and asked the Y&Y question on the Restaurants board! And the response I received was that Y&Y does, indeed, take Landry's GCs!

Hooray!

Jennifer- Just think, you'll have twice as much fun as I did watching Lucy next year! I video'd her because her laughter was soooo cute. But I have no idea how or even if I could transfer it to the computer.

Denise- :yay: for John's tastes coming back. How great that Rees is getting all that wonderful help he so deserves! And the bedroom furniture is gorgeous!

Elizabeth- I sure hope your throat feels better. I think a sore throat is the worst.:wizard:

Marci- I'm sorry you aren't feeling well either. :wizard:

Bernadette- Emma is just too cute for words!

Elin- I'm sure it will all come together for Kristin. Spending the day with tomorrow sounds lovely!

Deb- :yay: for all the progress you are making!

Amy- Sounds like you are having a wonderful weekend. Please post pics of the cookies!!

Kristine- You must really love blue dye! :rotfl2: Emma almost spilled ours last night :scared1:

Lindsay- Good to see you pop in! And :yay: for Johnathan making it home safely

Emma and I were going to meet up with a girl from her class and her mom to see Horton tonight but she has been fighting a cold all week. Last night it turned into a nasty cough and she has done nothing but lounge around all day. So no Horton for us.

I made cupcakes for tomorrow that I need to frost. Eric is on his 2nd dump run today. He managed to get rid of our old dining room furniture and our old grill. I still need to make my way to the bedrooms to put away the piles of laundry. At least it is clean!

When I tried to get a quote from Alamo it came back that I was requesting for hours that the facility wasn't open but it wouldn't tell me what the operating hours are. I'll have to try again. It did say something different about drop off giving the impression that you could still drop it off even if they weren't open.

Great!

Yeah for the IEP!:woohoo:

:wizard: Hope the new wheelchair arrives soon!!

It sounds like things are improving for all of you guys! :goodvibes
I am so happy that your school is good about Rees' modifications. DS's school acts like they have never seen anotehr child with a 504, and each teacher just sort of interprets it in their own way.

I could do A LOT of stuff at WDW for $600. :rolleyes1 Just saying...;)

I'm glad he made it with minimal delays!
Dadboss had booked a flight on SW out of Midway for Momboss, but he said she would have had to DRIVE to Chicago? Then something else changed and they had her going from Madison to St. Louis to DFW on American. So I'm not sure now what her itinerary is supposed to be. Hopefully she will get back home today. Princess is very excited about Easter, even though she isn't sure WHY she is excited. :rotfl2: She was VERY pleased with the 2 Wiggles DVDs we gave her.

I managed to shower, so now I am headed out for groceries. DH offered to come with me, but I don't think that would help. I'll go by myself and he can help me unload the car when I come back.

In case anyone was wondering, Super Target is closed tomorrow. DH is on a route with one, so he gets to skip that store tomorrow.

Poor yourEmma!

:woohoo: Yeah for the dump runs!

I just dropped off my Peg Perego stroller at the consignment shop but I'm thinking I shouldn't have left it there. She told me Peg Peregos don't sell well for her-it is a "high end" consignment-she only takes brand name clothes. Then she told me the Peregos have wheel problems.:confused3 Then she thought the handles were shakey-they adjust to make them taller. She asked me if I was local so I could come get it quickly when she wanted it out of there. I'm thinking I should have just given it to my niece rather than let her put some really low price on it and then only getting 50%. She said she'd email me right away with a price but of course she hasn't:headache:

It looks brand new. It retails for $340 now and I have the $30 rain cover for it too. I'm really disappointed.

I would like to go someday....but I'm not all that stuck on going. I'm hoping Dorinda will change her mind when she sees how expensive it will be. Even if we rented a car-I was getting well over $100 for a 1 day mini van with the $30 Dolphin pick up charge-plus $250 for tickets. Maybe we should play mini golf instead-we've never done that.

SO I just got the email and she said $150-that is better than I thought after her negative reaction to it.

Bernadette - that quote from the consignment shop does sound better than what her initial reaction predicted! Let's hope she gets that much for it!!

just got back from some shopping..i got mothers day, grandmas birthday, a housewarming gift and a birthday present done--woohoo :)
