DS got his report card today. All A's except Science and Math which were B's!
He got a 100% in Band, which boggles my mind since the Band director had been giving him 80's last semester.
The thing that kind of chaps me about the B in Science is that I specifically e-mailed the teacher about a zero he had on a paper. She never found it, so he re-did the paper. Then he had ANOTHER zero that I didn't e-mail about and apparently that one STAYED a zero. DS told me today it was a GROUP paper! So WTH did it GO?
DS figures the person in his group with the paper never turned it in!
Now he already has a zero for one assignment this 6 weeks, I have e-mailed her about it. She told DS today she will "look for it". WHY does this keep happening? I think it is going to be mandatory that I go have a conference tomorrow and tell her I want a "chain of custody" sheet for his science papers. When he turns in an assignment I want the person who takes the paper to sign for it. At least 2 of these papers have been turned in to subs because the science teacher is out ALL the time. I really don't think it is fair for DS to have to keep re-doing papers because the teacher can't keep track of them.
Princess took a crummy nap and now she feels warm.
That's all they need is for her to get sick while they try to plan travel for the funeral.
