Here's some pics from my niece's birthday party. The girl's loved it.
The Birthday Girl (I don't know if you can tell but she got punched in the mouth by one of her cousins this morning so her mouth is purple and swollen!)

Yes! That's it!

Jen - I'm so glad you are having a great time.

It is so nice here. I just went outside and washed the van. I wish I had a power washer. I'd do the deck. For some crazy reason I'm feeling motivated today.

Glad someone is being productive as I have done nothing. I have homework I need to do and I have not started yet. I should have cleaned nope have not done that either. I guess I am lying as I basically did my taxes. I need to wait on the paperwork yet for the one thing, open the Roth IRA, and find my last pay stubs from Girl Scouts and Goldtoe for healthcare costs, as I think I qualify for a credit for that.

The time change has me worn out. At least this coming week is less busy.

Kristine & Elizabeth,
Your talk back and forth about laundry is giving me the giggles.:rotfl:

I have not been productive today. Besides going to a l-o-n-g Palm Sunday mass I have got nothing done. I did watch the Disney cruise show on TLC. It's been on 1000 times but I just can't NOT watch it!!

Katie wanted to watch Pirates 1 so we did that & got chinese food in. I played with the kids (They are addicted to Star Wars Legos on the Wii) They are turning into quite the Star Wars fans.
I want to make them SW shirts for H.S.

My back is out so I took some pain meds & I am plain a lazy evening of watching t.v. The kids only have 3 days of school this week so I am glad its a short week. So far we do not know what & where we will be for Easter..I guess Dana will have to call his mother. :scared:

Tornado went through downtown Atlanta and did a bunch of damage. Watch CNN for pictures. It was right during the Bama vs MS State basketball game. John and I graduated from both schools, so it really hit home. Dozens injured, did damage to the Georgia Dome, CNN Center, Omni hotel, Ritz, Centennial Olympic Park.
I saw the pictures. How scary! I'm amazed there weren't more fatalities.

So, we are now scheduled to leave Richmond at 7:15 in the morning and it is a nonstop flight that will allow us practically a half day more than what we had before.

I realized that this now means we will have to eat another meal at WDW.
:woohoo: Congrats on the early flight! How about tea at the GF? It is a pretty substantial meal and relaxing. It's a short walk over to GF from Poly (or monorail). The only meal that DH has asked me to book for Aug is Raglan Road.

I am taking it much harder than I think I should be. He was only 58 years old.

The flight numbers have also changed, so I will have to make sure all of the ME ressies are updated. But I will wait to do that because it could all change again!:rolleyes1
I don't think you have to worry too much about ME with your inbound flight.

it seems like once we changed the October cruise (for timing reasons) to June...that it just keeps getting longer & longer. With the crazy airfare, we have now extended it 5 days...so we are gone 21 days:eek: 10 in in AKV concierge, 1 in Port Canavrel, 3 on the cruise and now 7 at BWV. I have never gone on such a long trip before
That sounds wonderful! We are doing 14 nights in August. Last year had been the longest trip to date at 10 nights.

Hi Elin ...I:) am still planning on buying that wine gadget...but now I have found 3 more models to chose from...I am not good with all these choices...Bill on the other hand wants to know "why can't we just use the damn refrigerator"?

My next gadget:

My neighbors 2 dogs irritate the crap out of me with their barking...so this is the "Super Bark Free Bark Stopper" and they disguise it as a bird house :rotfl2:
Hope it works!

Here's a couple of pics of the newest addition...

How cute!

I am going to take my vacation the week after next.

My mother has been diligent about taking belly shots, so maybe you'll see one eventually.
Yay for vacation! Would love to see a belly shot!

I did get a little chuckle though. I told him that my family & I went for Christmas & that I went to MK on Christmas day by myself. He response, "They are open on Christmas Day?"
:rotfl:

Jonathan comes home today for a week. I haven't seen him since Christmas so I am looking forward to it. He is going on Monday to have his wisdom teeth ripped out!:scared1: I am NOT looking forward to that. He is not a good patient whatsoever. I may ask for extra vicodin..for me!!!! :rotfl:
:wizard: Good luck to Jonathan (and you)!

So those Budget Board girls just pushed me to the point I couldn't stand it anymore. DH and I went back through the jewelry box and went to sell our "old gold". There was a place on the news last night, and the guy was really nice when I called so we went there. He gave us $600!! :scared1: That helps out with the Disney fund!
:woohoo:

A touch of Spring from today
Beautiful!

Bernadette which day is your Birthday? I know you have said, but I am having a blank moment lol
May 6th-the CP day (and CG if you want to just go have a drink with us before dinner).

Emma is SO excited! She says we are going to have a pattern to our trip-first you pick a ride because its your birthday, then I pick a ride, then you pick a ride, then I pick a ride......Then she said she was going to make up a new rule: "you get to pick every thing we do on your birthday but if you wanted to be nice you could share and let me pick a few things too."

I am SO ready (well not at all ready work wise....). I do have a new cold. I'm so tired of this.

So, it dawned on me that with the whole family going on the Grad cruise we will have to have T shirts, so her's what I came up with.
Love those!!!!

Just a quick update on Julie. I went to her shower last night, and she looks great. She's on partial bedrest (she has to lie down every couple hours), and her doctor hopes to get her to 32 weeks (which is next week), then 34, and if she progresses to 36 weeks, she'll have her c-section then. She appreciates your prayers. :goodvibes
Great news. Hope she can hold on for another 5 weeks!:wizard:

Thankfully Jonathan made it home safely last night....he looks good. College has really agreed with that kid. He has informed us that he will not be home this summer..:sad1: he has accepted an internship...he will be doing research in a nuclear particle lab. Honestly, I didn't even understand what he was talking about...apparently this includes a trip to Switzerland. So he's pumped up to say the least. He will be graduating next year...1 year early....then off to grad school. This used to be the worlds laziest kid...and now he's an academic powerhouse...so there is hope for my Christopher! :rotfl2:
WOW!

I'll then be heading to my sisters in Ohio. I'll be there until very early on Monday morning when I drive back to pick up Becky and get her home by 7pm Monday night for her class.

I'm looking forward to spending time with my sister, niece & nephew. Mom will be there as well. The kids and my sister are really excited as well. It makes me feel guilty that I haven't been there sooner. It's been 3 or 4 years since I've been down there.
Have fun with your sister, niece, nephew & Mom!

Good morning all...Last night was a blast, just a bunch of friends playing cards and a good old fashioned witch session too. Just what I needed!!
Sounds fun!

But who doesn't like pizza?! ;)
Emma. I told you she was the pickiest eater ever. She's on a goldfish and life cereal kick lately.

We had a blast at the wedding/reception--so much fun!!!!!!!!
Glad you're having such a great time!

If he does laundry like DH I can see the appeal in just doing it yourself. DH was off last Tuesday. I didn't get our laundry finished last weekend, so he said he would work on it. Hmm.
There was a load of towels still in the washer YESTERDAY that he had forgotten about!:scared: So he washed them AGAIN.
He also doesn't gather up ALL of the laundry and sort it before he starts, so we end up with little dribs and drabs of stuff that can't go together. It is easier for me to just do it all. :sad2:
That is what my DH does. I try telling him laundry isn't like sour dough bread-you do NOT need a starter. AND then he puts everything away in the wrong drawers. I am not tiny enough to confuse my clothes with Lizzy's and when he puts the stuff in the wrong kids' drawers they assume possession of the stuff that they know isn't theirs.:headache:

Robyn- Great pictures it looks like everyone had a good time.

Here's some pics from my niece's birthday party. The girl's loved it.
Great pictures! Lucy looks likes she loved it!

I want to make them SW shirts for H.S.

My back is out so I took some pain meds & I am plain a lazy evening of watching t.v. The kids only have 3 days of school this week so I am glad its a short week.
I think it was Kate who did a cute Darth Mickey-I'm sure I have it on my pc somewhere if you're interested.

Hope you back responds to the meds!

My kids have a 4 day week.

Robyn looks like the girls had fun at the pool party! Why did the birthday girls cousin pop her in the mouth? Looks like it hurts, poor thing

Bernadette, Emma sounds so sweet. I like her plans for your Birthday :goodvibes I won't forget your Birthday now :thumbsup2

I have a question... does anyone have a GORGEOUS picture of the Polynesian??

You would think I would having stayed there 4 times and because I LOVE the place but those stays were a couple of cameras ago and I was always too busy with the kids to take too many photos. Here are the best of what I have:

Anne Marie I hope your back feels better soon :wizard:

Bernadette, Emma sounds so sweet. I like her plans for your Birthday :goodvibes I won't forget your Birthday now :thumbsup2
She "sounds" sweet but I think she'll be making a new rule when the day comes.

I'm really excited to be going with her for her 1st "special" trip. I'm really glad I got that stroller so I don't have to worry about that. And she's doing so well with the potty-no ring and no step stool at all any more. I'm sure we'll have a blast!

She has a list of things she wants to buy too:
A stuffed Timone
A 4 color pen like the one I bought Joe years ago
A back scratcher-Joe bought one 2 years ago
A pluto match box size car.

That should be just about her $25 limit. Joe wants a stuffed Pumba and Lizzy hasn't decided.

She has never seen Timone so hopefully we can find him. Joe & I saw him in Adventure Land in January. And she really, really wants to see the Cars characters at the Studios. She also wants to see Mushu but doesn't want to see Mulan. I've got to try to get her to watch the movie so she can see Mulan is really cool.

Good evening all! Hope you had great days today.

Kristine - Congrats to Jonathan on the internship and early graduation! Sounds like he is doing wonderfully. Hopefully the driving part will kick in soon as well.

Elin - No ideas for your added lunch, but the suggestions all sound good. Right on the monorail sounds like a good plan.

Elizabeth - Better start looking for that DIL now! It may take awhile to find one easy going enough. ;)

Janet - No corn beef and cabbage for us. I do really miss our old St. Pat's days growing up. Several area restaurants did free breakfast on St. Patrick's Day, usually a buffet. We used to go as a family and then Mom would take us to school late. It was always a lot of fun.

Tammi - I'm wish we had blooming trees. I could use some green leaves showing. I wish I could understand why we could be having the decent days early in the week and 40s at the point when we add 8 people to our chaos, plus Kristi and kids and Erin and fam being here more because of the company - thus we can't send the kids outside as easily.

Jen - Glad the wedding and reception were great. I'm so glad that you got to go! That family connection is so nice to get sometimes. :goodvibes

Bernadette - Love Emma's "plan". So cute!

I have been reading TR's today & I am getting so anxious for May & Aug.!

Robyn- Great pictures it looks like everyone had a good time.

Lucy is so cute! Looks like everyone had fun! Mmmmm, cake! :)

Anne Marie I hope your back feels better soon :wizard:

800 mg. of Advil, 3 times a day! :wizard:

Bernadette - Sounds like Emma is ready! :thumbsup2
I am almost finished with the laundry. Maybe 2 loads to go. DH only puts his own stuff away. Not like he could really mix up my stuff with DS's.
I fold DS's stuff and make him put it in the drawers. His closet is packed so I put his hanging stuff away for him.

Tia - Perhaps a nice arranged marriage for DS! Or maybe I can convince him to marry one of my charges. Then she would already be used to doing what I say! :rotfl2:

Janet - I don't read many TRs. I have been on the Food Porn thread.

Spring Break is over for DS, but he is off Friday. Princess is off this week. Not sure what we will do tomorrow because I think it is supposed to rain.

Deb I hope you all get to go skiing today!

Nope. Nick was still not feeling well this morning. We di manage to clean the bathroom and kitchen today though. And I hit Kohls using my SIL's 30% off coupon and JcPenney's for their VIP sale. I actually found a few things that I had been looking for. I also bought underwear for our trip. For some reason we always buy new underwear for trip :confused3

Hi Deb! How are you guys doing?

We will be there May 31 - June 20.

I keep telling him he should take an adult swimming class...but he looks at me like I am crazy!

It would be nice if Bill would take swimming lessons though I doubt that he would ever relax enough to benefit. I used to teach swimming lessons and my Mother can not swim. She will not put her face in the water at all. I've tried many times, but she if far to scared. My grandmother could not swim and would not go near the water. If we were swimming in a lake she would make sure she couldn't see the water as it totally freaked her out. She and her siblings watched someone drown when they were young and none of them could swim or help and it stayed with her forever and she passed that fear on to her own kids. Thankfully my parents gave us swimming lessons very early on. They even installed a pool for us.

We arrive at WDW on the 28th. We'll have 21 days too :thumbsup2

:rotfl2:

I know that you're disappointed that he won't be home, but it sounds like a wonderful experience for him.

There is nothing wrong with a NEWBORN having a pacifier! I hope they enjoy the sleep deprivation because it sounds like they are setting themselves up for a lot of it!

That's wonderful! How exciting for him! I think college is good because the kids can choose what time to have what classes, what order to take things in, etc. They have much more control over their schedule and to some extent they can tailor it to their interests. Middle school is run like a prison - go here, go there, learn this, eat now!

Tammi - I can't remember if I have ever shopped at Belk. :confused3 We had Burdine's in FL which I really liked. We used to have Lord & Taylor here but they all closed. When I first moved to TX we had Bloomingdale's, but that has been gone for a long time. We still have something in the Galleria - Marshall Fields or Saks? Can't remember which. :confused3 We had both, then one went out of business. And we have Nieman Marcus where I NEVER shop. The employees are just so :snooty: , which I find hilarious since they work RETAIL! Retail is my fall-back in case there ever comes a time when I can't find a suitable nanny position. Working as a sales associate in a department store doesn't make one special, but none of them seem to have gotten that memo. :rolleyes1 And for the ones who are on commission it would be in their best interest to be NICE. But whatever. I will stick to Nordstrom.
The mall across the street has Macy's, Dillard's, Nordstorm, and Neiman's. The dead mall has Disney, Sears, Dillard's and JC Penney - their Macy's closed.

We have to drive over an hour to get to a "mall" :lmao: We have JcPenney's and Kohl's and a few other larger stores scattered about a nearby town. We also have a Gap in a different town. It's a huge event for us to travel to a mall for a day :rotfl:

I have been reading TR's today & I am getting so anxious for May & Aug.!

Not too long! My final payment is due Thursday. I think I'll call tomorrow so I don't forget. Then I think I'll order Emma, DH, and Lizzy all 7 day park hopper passes from undercovertourist. I would save $52 over gate prices. I will upgrade Emma's to an AP and likely do the same for DH. Lizzy's AP expires on 8/21 so a 7 day pass is enough for our Aug trip. I don't have any other trips planned yet so I don't think I'll get her an AP. If I take her before next summer I can get a new AP then.

I got a Disney rewards card from my Visa with just $20 on it. I'll transfer the balance when I get to FL. I already have another $185 so that will cover a good portion of my AP renewal. With the tickets and balance on the package that will be another $13 in rewards.

I got a post cardd from Leave a Legacy saying they were selling again. It had a phone number so I'll have to call to see how long they think they will be selling. I would like to get a tile with Joe & Emma so all 3 kids are up. I might have to take my own photo and email it to them rather than wait til Aug.
