This is what terrifies me about Spring/Summer.

Stay safe!

Janet - interesting article.

Well, the rain has started. We are under a tornado watch until 3AM.

I'm reading the AlllEars newsletter. When did LTT stop announcing your name? I know they still did in Dec. I guess now they hand you a pager, I liked the calling of names & where you were from. Maybe it was getting to hard to get peoples attention :confused3

We got a pager and our name announced....pager got us toward the check in table....name announced was cool!!

Robyn-I am so sorry for your Uncle...what a love...I can't imagine that kind of love and devotion.

Jim can't go back to work until next Monday....and he's driving me BONKERS!!

Yea Molly :cheer2:

 for your uncle, 75 years is a very long time. This will be a very hard time for him :sad1:

Robyn - :grouphug: for you and your uncle. YAY for Molly! It's progress!

Robyn, I am so sorry for your poor uncle. :guilty: You are all in my thoughts.
I hope Molly develops a preference for the potty soon!:wizard:

Sorry to hear about your Aunt Robyn, Yeah for Molly!!!

:woohoo: For Molly!

 For your uncle!

Good for you!

Thanks for all the hugs. I am just so sad that he is "left behind" At 96 years old, I would think it's a scary prospect. I think my aunt is where she wants/needed to be. She wanted to celebrate her 95th birthday and she did on Thursday. My uncle and their son were there with her. When they were leaving my uncle told her he was going home and she replied "so am I, so am I" She died Friday morning.

And in regards to Mo- I will take any progress we can at this point. I may sound like a mean mommy but I told her this morning that this was it she had to sit on the potty until she went. She can stay dry overnight but just flatly refuses to sit and try. I just can't take it any longer. I've praised her up and down today and we've called tons of people to let them know of her accomplishments so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I was SO confused in my dream. I was thinking gee I guess I really don't know her very well.:lmao:

Poor Matty!

When Lizzy was a small infant and I was a nervous first time Mom I put her in her bouncy seat for the first time and get a piece of her belly stuck in the clip on the strap. I think I cried longer than she did.

 :wizard: I would be very stressed! I like thinking most of my job is "just a budget"-not really real. Well I guess it is more than that but I like thinking that way when I get too stressed.

Poor brother!

Joe had an eye exam today because the school nurse said he "failed" his depth perception test at school. The eye dr said his vision is fine. :thumbsup2

I had that problem with Joe's pillowcase that I did in Dec 06. I think I may have just had a bad batch of transfers but now that I think about it I may have done it late at night. I saw your photos and yours came out awesome!!!!

HOW COOL!!!

:wizard:

Hope she's feeling better soon!

That is wonderful!!!!!!

I would think he'd get a good grade!

Hope you find relief soon.

Its been like 3 or more weeks for me and while I am SO much better my sinus still hurt and ear still feels like I have a bit of fluid. I think it is just going to take a long time before it is completely gone. I am SOOOOOOOO ready for spring!!!!

I'm glad Joe's eyes are fine. I hope you can finally get to feeling 100% soon. :wizard:

Yeah, i was kind of disappointed that I didnt like it better--but i figured that doesnt mean i cant still work out..Im so frustrated with my weight that i know i can keep it up--and save money!

I also decided that if i am still doing my working out in 3 months (the length of time the kickboxing class was for)--im treating myself to a massage as a "reward"

I'm sorry you didn't like it but your reward sounds heavenly. Keep it up!!

Yeah, and like I'll ever know if a tornado is spinning through. I'll be sleeping!

:rotfl:

It is hard to imagine in this day and age. I know they fought like cats and dogs A LOT! But they loved each other so much more.

I hope Jim stops driving you bonkers sooner rather than later. 's

Robyn-I am so sorry for your Uncle...what a love...I can't imagine that kind of love and devotion.

Jim can't go back to work until next Monday....and he's driving me BONKERS!!

Anne Marie - the pins look great!

Deb - ditto on all those shirts!

Vicki - I am so glad you are having a great time. :)

That sounds like a solid plan with great motivation built in :thumbsup2

Thanks for all the compliments on the shirts. They did turn out well. I am so happy to have those behind me. Now to print the Epcot books. That should eat up the ink.

I was hoping to hear from Vicki by now. I am so in need of a live trip report. Doesn't she know that I am living vicariously through her :rotfl2:

Nick fell down our stairs when Hunter was about 5 weeks old. Nick was 26 months old. I think he may have tripped over the dog, but who actually knows. Anyway he broke his leg. He was in a cast for 3 weeks. The day that the cast came off he was at my parent's house and fell down their cellar stairs. Off to the doctors for another x-ray, thankfully he was ok. I thought for sure that they would haul me off to jail for child neglect :rolleyes1

My poor cousin was a crazy kid. He also lived in the country and found lots of ways to get hurt. They had to visit the ER so many times at one point that the small-town hospital apologized that they were now required to have a social worker talk to my aunt. She felt soo horrible, but every one of them was a total accident and occurred in the oddest of ways.

I'm finally here on Chapter 5! I just finished catching up on Chapter 4, and don't have time to start here tonight. Hopefully I'll catch up to y'all tomorrow. I have got to remember to check in on the weekends! Otherwise, I spend most of the week playing catch up! Although, in my defense, I've had sick kids since Saturday night, and no relief in sight! Can I just say I HATE THE FLU?!!!!

Talk to you in the morning!

Deb - Great shirts! They turned out nicely.

Anne Marie - The frame looks really nice. Just find the studs and you should be able to hang it will no problem.

Elizabeth - Hope Princess is feeling better soon. I hope that Brother gets the guidance and comfort he needs soon. Poor thing. :(

Robyn - Hope Molly's potty success continues! :wizard:

Glynis - :wizard: that everyone in your household is feeling better ASAP!!!

Well we ended up with somewhere between 10-12 inches. I went out to shovel thinking it would be about 6-7, but found a lot more! It took about 1 hour and 45 min between my shovelling and Phil's to find the driveway again. Terra was helping too. ;) Mainly though she just flopped her way through the snow and tried, usually unsuccessfully, to stay on her feet. I'll try to upload some pictures tomorrow.

If you could spare some pixie dust for my dad, he could use it. He wasn't going to work tonight unless they needed him, which then did in the end. He called around 9:30 to day that he was in a ditch. As of 10:45 a tow truck was on the way and he may have a delivery or two to finish. Luckily, his company volunteered to foot the towing bill. It's not something that they normally would do, but I think that they felt it would be some good will since he's one of the only drivers out there. He thinks that the can is fully driveable, but won't know for sure until they wench him back up the hill. Hopefully there is no front end damage. This is the van he bought just 2 weeks ago and has only been driving for work for 4 days now. Sooo not what he needed today.

Thanks for all the anecdotes to support the fact that accidents happen. :grouphug:

Glynis, I hope your household is germ-free soon!

Vicki, I can't wait to hear more trip details!

Robyn, I'm sending you strength for tomorrow. Yay Molly!

Deb, great shirts!

Debbie, love your most recent design!

Anne Marie, your pin frame turned out super!

Jen, a massage reward sounds like great motivation.

Theresa, I'd share some sanity, if I could (though I'm scaping the barrel this week. ;) )

Bernadette, please clean out your PM box. :)

Elizabeth, I hope Princess is feeling better tomorrow.

Tia, I hope your dad's vehicle is all right. Pixie dust for him and you, because you are going to be sore from all that shoveling! Our weatherman said we should be grateful that we were above freezing today, since it would have resulted in 2 feet of snow instead of the steady downpour we had all day.

Be gone snow and tornadoes!!!

Good night to all! I hope Wednesday is a great day for the DDA!

We got a pager and our name announced....pager got us toward the check in table....name announced was cool!!

They gave us a pager the other night. I had forgotten that they used to announce the name.
