It's gorgeous here today -- no more rain, thankfully. I've been working most of the day, but we did go out and walk earlier. I hope everyone is having a great day.

I'm so glad you had some sunshine.... maybe we'll get some next! (One can hope, right?) We got about 4 inches of rain yesterday, and another 2-3 today. Ick!

Princess's fever was too high to be teeth. She has some sort of respiratory thing going on. They put her on Zithromax and said to start her on Zyrtec and Nasonex.
If I didn't analyze the DDP I wouldn't have anything to do!

I hope she is feeling well quickly!

I don't normally do this, but I thought I would write a pre-trip report. Actually it looks more like a story lol

I know how to put the link in my Sig, but how do I get he link to say trip report or something to that effect that you can click on?

In case nobody else has answered, when you are editing your signature, type what you want it to say, ie "Trip Report". Then highlight the words you wnat to turn into a link, and press the "insert link" button at that point. It will put your hyperlink in whatever words, photo, etc that you highlighted. I hope that helps!

I got that email too, Elizabeth. I priced out 3 nights at Pop, May 9-12, with an AP discount and adding the dining plan. It was $400 something. Then I priced the same thing out but this time with the AP/DDP discount. That was $500 something. I don't get it.

Off to the dentist to have my crown adjusted. It has been sensitive to pressure and cold.

Yuck! I hope your mouth is feeling better. I just hate dental troubles!

Hooray to Colby and Molly!!! Potty training is so not fun!!! I'm awfully glad that those days are behind me!

Tammi - I'm glad things went well with the X. I'll keep my fingers crossed that all goes well for the Communion weekend!

I managed to get the DVD exchanged with no problem at all!!! Can't wait for Easter to be able to watch it.

Alan's birthday yesterday was quite good! The kids pitched in and cleaned the house up, I made his favorite meal, and we had a nice evening. We gave him a gift card to Cabela's along with some fishing gear, and I got all his Olympic pins put in a shadow box frame. It looks really good, and he was so stunned! We each had a piece of Black Forest cake, then baths for the kids and bed! Now I just have to get through the twins birthday on Friday, our families Easter egg hunt on Saturday, and Easter on Sunday. This is one week that is crammed full of activity for our family! Luckily, I'm not hosting anyone for Easter dinner, so it's just the 6 of us. We are going to have a ham with a honey glaze, hot cross buns, orange gelatin salad, whipped maple sweet potatoes, spinach salad and corn casserole. Not sure about a dessert. I'm thinking I'll pass on that this year, as I know the kids will get tons of candy in their baskets and at the egg hunt.

I'm glad the exchange went smoothly! I was nervous for you reading Lindsay's post, I didn't realize there were different case colors with some DVDs purchased at TDS!

Perfect. The jackhammer is setting off the burglar alarm next door, so I have jackhammer AND high-pitched siren. The siren stops while the system resets, then it starts again.
Princess was crying but she is SO tired she wasn't even sitting up when I went in her room. I covered her back up and turned her music on so we'll see how that goes.

Becky - Yikes! Have they not figured anything out about your neighbor's murder?

I know they have sent people out of state for questioning. I have heard several theories and other information but the news is not releasing much. He was beaten to death and they are pretty sure he fought back. Who did it or might have did it I do not think they know for sure, but I think they have ideas. Since it is high profile, they want to be sure before they make accusations and are not just speculating. I do not blame them one bit for wanting to have pieced things together before they release more information.

That's a bummer! I think Easter is kind of not be recognized as a holiday. DS gets Friday off, but if we would have had a snow day he would have had school. I don't have any additional days off (Friday or Monday) in my contract. I would have been off Friday if Momboss wouldn't have had to go out of town, but it isn't one of my guaranteed holidays. In fact, it never has been. Obviously in my last job the family was Jewish, but none of my families who celebrate Easter have given me a day off. Banks don't take a day for it, and they take a day for EVERYTHING. I think even on Easter there are stores open, at least more than is open on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Creepy. I would want to know that he was the intended victim. I don't need to know WHY, I just would want to know that the bad guy was after HIM specifically. Back in December there was a lady who was shot when she answered her front door. The police said she was NOT the intended victim - the guy had the wrong house! I don't think I ever heard who he was REALLY after!

I think he is lucky to have had time off around EASTER. I totally believe that they have to go back Easter Sunday. We always had class through Black Friday and class again on Monday after Easter. We never had a day off around Easter. Some professors would cancel class, but the school was still open. Spring Break was never at the same time as Easter. I think most colleges do not have a day off at Easter, except schools that are religious. At least this has been my experience, others mileage may vary.
