DDA Chapter 5

I'm about to head out. I've made a list of supplies that I need at Home Depot. I'm hoping to get a ton done on Friday and Saturday as I shouldn't have to run out for any reason unless we decide to bring the boys skiing. The weather is supposed to get real cold so we may just bag skiing for this year. I've got my head into this home improvement thing now. I'll get the supplies and start picking away at some patching then hit it hard on Friday. It would be nice to get the ceilings and walls done then the floors can be started the following weekend. Colby doesn't have school next week which will give me extra at home time.

I printed out the Kelly Blue Book pages on Chris's truck and I'll pick up a for sale sign while I'm out today. I think I'll attach everything to a windshield shade and he can put that up when he isn't driving the truck. Hopefully he'll get a quick bite though we will then have to share one car for a while :headache: We can do it, it will just suck big time.

Tia looks like Terra was having a blast! What a pretty girl you have there :goodvibes

Lindsay if you can find that motivation, will you please send some my way :flower3:

Deb congratulations to Colby :cheer2:

Tammi sending lot's of pixiedust: your way!

Could I please ask for some spare pd to be thrown my way. I am meeting with xh in about half an hour and trying to work something out. It's over something important to me and I'm very nervous about it. TIA.

Tammi - I hope everything works out! Good luck!:wizard:

Marci glad you had a good time this weekend!

:cheer2: Molly for using the potty :cheer2:

Mo loves it!

Good morning, DDA! T minus 11 hours and counting until the arrival of the mob. The list is almost done though. All I really have to do is sweep and mop the kitchen. Mom is going to buy a new mop head this morning, though, so it should be a lot easier! Otherwise, just some grocery shopping and we're good to go. Hopefully that means I can get Terra's dress made today. Oh yeah, we're also going to go feed some chickens. "Kassie" is animal-sitting for friends at church and has to feed the cats and chickens several times this week. Well, she won't get near the chicken coop so it's actually Kristi doing it, which is apparently also quite funny. :rotfl: We're going to take Terra out to help today so that she can see them. The question is just how muddy will she be when we finish. Case in point....

In the end, Terra's whole backside and the front from knees down looked just like this. It was quite funny to watch, but she had a good time!

I love the pics! What fun she had.

Way to go, Molly!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Keep it up, kiddo! :thumbsup2

Thanks Lindsay! I hope you can get some rest in so you don't feel soo tired.

Tia - Mud gives me stress! :scared: I do everything in my power to keep
Princess away from mud, water, etc. :rotfl2:

Princess is still running a fever, so we are heading to the Dr's office shortly. I don't expect them to be able to do anything, but Momboss wants to have her checked out anyway.

I'm still trying to sort out the DDP. I added up everything paying OOP, then everything using DDP and DDP is $120 HIGHER. I can't understand how that can be right, but I have looked at it multiple times. The tips add $112, so it must be that our OOP cost is almost identical to the cost of the plan. Unless DDP is free it looks like we won't be adding it because it will just make things more complicated without saving us any money! :headache: Also, DS won't order from the adult menu at Spoodles so having the plan there is pointless. We'd be better off to let him order from the adult menu at Le Cellier if he wants to and use DDE. That's really the only place where he is likely to order an adult entree.

Could Princess be teething? Your analysis' give me stress. ;)
Becky, You have done so fantastic in your weight loss and you will continue to do so. I think that stress does kinda get in the way. I know that last week a few times a few goodies were in the office that usually are not and I 'helped myself'. But I am back on track now and just put it as a few days I went on 'vacation'.

I agree that we need to find a way to get that carousel worked on to make it more fun to ride!!!!

Good pep talk Terry!!

:cool1: Way to go Molly :cool1: :cool1: Colby has been dry 3 mornings in a row too. You guys can do this together :cool1:

Becky have you considered changing your diet plan. Chris and I had wonderful success on Atkins, but after about 4 months we stalled out. We ended up switching to Weight Watcher's and were able to drop more lbs. Weight Watchers also has the Core and Flex plan so you can switch within their plans to avoid stall outs. You can do it, but may need to make some changes to get moving again :goodvibes

Thanks Deb!!

Way to go Colby!!! :donald: :donald

Absolutely! Here you go...:wizard:

She was so excited to see her name and even more excited that you all "knew" she was using the potty!

Oh and Tom, Molly asked me last night at dinner if she could spend the night at "Eanna's" I told her by the time we got there it wouldn't be night time any longer. :rotfl: I knew you'd like the pic!
Awww! That is so sweet!

Leighanna would love to have her sleep over! She can't wait to possibly see you guys this summer!

Yikes! :scared1: I have Leighanna convinced that puddles are 10 feet deep and that if she steps in them, she will get sucked under! :rolleyes1 I know, bad Daddy! But the thought of her getting mud bogged down creeps me out!:scared: That and the fact that I would be the one going in after her with her shoes stuck in the mud!:upsidedow

I will let her spash around in shallow puddles on concrete or blacktop though! Less messy!:goodvibes

Good luck, Deb! Yay for Colby!!!!! :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:

Thank you all so much! I *think* it worked. To try to make a long story short, the weekend that Nicholas makes his 1st Communion is John's weekend, unofficially. Three months ago, John agreed to switch weekends with me, since my family is coming into town, staying at our house, and I'm having a party at the house for Nicholas. Then John got hair up his butt and said that I couldn't have the kids that weekend. So....tax time rolls around. He asked if we were going to file jointly. I said "of course".;) He gives me his stuff, and I Turbotax it, not only jointly, but separately as well. So I ask him to either give me that weekend or I will file separately, claiming the kids and the house. He would have to pay $5000+ in taxes. He agreed to change weekends, and I had him put it in writing. I just hope nothing happens in the next month or so to mess it up.

I think I am too late and missed sending PD. :(

I hope it went OK.

ETA: I think it did! :goodvibes

:cool1: :cool1: Way to go Molly :cool1: :cool1: Colby has been dry 3 mornings in a row too. You guys can do this together :cool1: :cool1:
Do we need to start a thread for DDA kids potty training? Kinda like the weight loss support thread. :rotfl:

Great job to both Molly and Colby!!!:dance3:

Becky - don't give up. You can do it!

Deb - good luck on the refi, the projects and selling the truck.

Awww! That is so sweet!

Leighanna would love to have her sleep over! She can't wait to possibly see you guys this summer!

Keep your fingers crossed. As long as the trip is a go then we will for sure be there.

::yes:: :rotfl2:

Tammi- I am glad that XH sees things your way!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that he doesn't pull anything in the next month. :wizard:

Tammi....glad things worked out. I was about to come on and tell you to pack the hammer in your purse...just in case! ;)

Thanks. I'm just nervous, expecting the other shoe to drop. We have a court date of April 11 and that can't get her fast enough!

Good afternoon everyone,

We had a late night last night, we took Brandon to wrestling. DH is a wrestling fanatic and is thrilled that his grandson is interested too. Here's their favorite, The Undertaker, or as Brandon called him last night on the way home, The Groundskeeper, :rotfl: , Brandon was amazed that he made his eyes "all white".
