This is true -- but only because I'm super picky and you're a great hostess. But who doesn't like pizza?!

I didn't make the dip, but this sounds similar to what the cook did (only she used blue cheese dressing, not ranch). I found this at Recipezaar.

Ingredients
2 (5ounce) cans chicken, drained
2 (8ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup ranch dressing
3/4 cup red hot sauce
shredded cheddar cheese, you decide how much
Frito scoops, Ritz crackers, celery


Directions
1) Beat cream cheese, ranch dressing, and red hot sauce.
2) Fold in shredded chicken.
3) Spread mixture into pie plate sprayed with Pam.
4) Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
5) Add cheddar to top and bake an additional 10-15 minutes.
6) Serve hot with Frito scoops, crackers, celery, etc.

This is similar to the recipe we use (slightly different amounts), ranch and all

the kid slept the whole time...I told then I had no clue what they were complaining about...I think they are so nervous...the baby senses it...and he wants a pacifier...and they refuse to give him one. I swear if I would have had one...I would have popped it in his mouth

The 2 major department stores attached to our mall, singular, are Belk and Macy's. Then we have the ususal stuff...Penney's, Sears, etc.

That's why I was asking. I thought Dillards (formerly, at least here anyway, McAlpin's) was "the usual stuff" I've never heard of Belk. I think it's interesting what stores are common in other parts of the country, considering they are all practically the same thing.

After a warm, sunny day yesterday, today started off cooler and rainy.

Kristine I am not that great of a swimmer myself, I really have a fear of deep water. I would be sitting on the boat with Bill

So who is cooking corned beef & cabbage tomorrow? I would love to, but no one else would eat it

Thankfully Jonathan made it home safely last night....he looks good. College has really agreed with that kid. He has informed us that he will not be home this summer.. he has accepted an internship...he will be doing research in a nuclear particle lab. Honestly, I didn't even understand what he was talking about...apparently this includes a trip to Switzerland. So he's pumped up to say the least. He will be graduating next year...1 year early....then off to grad school. This used to be the worlds laziest kid...and now he's an academic powerhouse...so there is hope for my Christopher!

Thankfully Jonathan made it home safely last night....he looks good. College has really agreed with that kid. He has informed us that he will not be home this summer.. he has accepted an internship...he will be doing research in a nuclear particle lab. Honestly, I didn't even understand what he was talking about...apparently this includes a trip to Switzerland. So he's pumped up to say the least. He will be graduating next year...1 year early....then off to grad school. This used to be the worlds laziest kid...and now he's an academic powerhouse...so there is hope for my Christopher!

How wonderful to see them grow up, right!!!?!? Sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders and it is not just full of brains; there is some good common sense there.

cloudy here Janet....usually I can see the skyline from here...and I see nothing. Must be foggy in the loop.

Janet...he has a fear of shallow water!! We went to a water park around here...and I made him go on the lazy river and he was getting all jacked up...finally I told him to put his feet down...it was 3 feet deep!!!!

Looks like the rain might be about finished here! That would be lovely since I hate the thought of moving Kristin back into the dorm in the rain. There is her usual collection of suitcases but we are also headed to the grocery store so add another huge assortment of bags and boxes too.

at least he drives... Kristin can drive but hates to. She does not have a license and has no great desire to get one.
