Hi, Jo! Glad to hear from you! Good luck finding a nice guy to date!!
Hi Jo. Good luck!
Good Morning DDA,
Karen -I'm so sorry about Shocker
Hi Jo, drop in more often!
Today is surgery day, he goes in at 8:00 am to have the stint removed and a new one put in, then they transfer him to another operating room to have the actual surgery done. If all goes well he will be home tomorrow, we won't be going to the hospital, as it is in New Orleans and we have Brandon. We felt it would be better all the way around if we kept him here and took him to school instead of keeping him in the hospital waiting room all day. He was pretty upset with his mom and dad for leaving him and not taking him with them, but it didn't take him long to snap out of it after they left. I had race cars going up and down the hall and dinosaurs in the bathtub last night,, it's been a long time since I had to get a little one off to school.
What do you guys think of this July 4th design?

It will go on a white t-shirt. This is the design that I'm thinking of using for the 11 of us for the FW parade and our Fireworks cruise. I considered adding a navy background as this will be hard to cut out, I'm undecided at this point.
You would know it had been a barn. I'm not sure you want to see a picture right now with all the cold, wet, white stuff on the ground.![]()
Robyn - Love your newest installments of the TR! I am horribly dense - I didn't realize it was cold while you guys were there. I guess because we roasted in December I didn't think your trip was any different! The girls are so adorable!
Deb - I like the design! What does it look like without Mickey? I think I like the Mickey head background by itself, but maybe it looks too sparse?![]()
I'll put a little plea out there for my own fur baby. I had to take her to get her annual teeth cleaning today. I knew something was wrong when I picked her up, as I have never heard her make these gut-wrenching noises - close to human crying. Vet assured me there was nothing wrong with her, she's probably just still groggy from the anesthesia, wants to go home, etc. Needless to say, the ride home was awful, and we weren't home 5 mins before we were back in the car on the way to the ER.
ER vet thinks she aspirated some fluids during the dental procedure, and that caused an infection around one of her lungs, after tests and xrays. She's spending the night in the ER, getting pumped full of antibiotics and diuretics to work on the infection, and needless to say, we'll be transferring to a new vet in the morning to continue her care. Just talked to the ER, and they tell me she's resting quietly (they were finally able to get some pain meds in her), and she's no longer whimpering, so that's wonderful. They hope to get her to eat around midnight.
My mom always said that the babies waited to get sick until the daddies left town.![]()
