I ordered it to try to get a code. I don't have the DVD or a code.
The e-mail really comes across like we are supposed to go out and convince our friends and family to go to Disney, and here are some materials to help us when we are out marketing.

They didn't even send us free chips!

I got a call from Joe's teacher that he hasn't been himself lately and today he cut a lamited number grid in the classroom. When I asked him about it he would only say "I don't know". His teacher thinks he'll be better after February vacation. I know he hasn't been feeling well (noone in this house really has). I had him write an appology but wish I understood what is going on with him.




Time for me to go take my antibiotics. They are making me dizzy and sick to my stomach. I think I'm going to try to go to work tomorrow. We got our bonus checks this week and unlike my regular pay that is a direct deposit this one is a live check so I would be nice to get that in the bank. I think it will be easier to go back for at least part of the day tomorrow and take care of emails and all that then to face it all on Monday.

OH....but I've got to try to make a few August plans so I can call for ADR's in the morning.

Hal went out to get Chinese Food for us. We could not get a table at one of our favorite restaurants, so this will do for me. He did get me a dozen carnations.

Don't feel bad! I did the same thing with Jonathan's anniversary card this year. He keeps all of them, and when he went to put this year's with his collection, neither of us realized that it was the same one from last year!

But it was just perfect - what can you do?!

It wouldn't surprise me if DH has gotten the same card from me more than once.
The guy at the Disney Store told me today that the Hallmark in the mall is closing. No telling where I'll get my cards now.

Im headed to my coteachers house--we ordered dinner and were gonna watch chick flicks!
Not sure if ill be around the next couple days so im letting ya know, just in case!
Tomorrow i work ,and then a friend from college and i are going to Atlantic City to see a concert! Yay!! So we probably wont get home til late..then saturday, i need to be out of my house by 845---we have a 10am massage appointment, then lunch, movies, and out for drinks! i cant wait!

Well I just got the kids settled in bed when Daniel runs down the stairs yelling that we forgot to see Betelgeuse (the Valentine's star) & Mars. So we grab our coats & went outside to see them. Mars is just to the left of the moon & Betelgeuse is just above Orions belt. It is a huge red pulsating star so it blinks....Very cool.

On the 20th there will be a lunar eclipse between 10pm-10:51pm.

The last time we saw a lunar eclipse was November 2003. We sat at the fountain watching it from the CBR.

Good morning DDA. Thank you all for the get well wishes last night. I woke up this morning with a lovely 103 degree fever. Surprisingly I still don't feel horrible. But I am taking it easy today in hopes that I can finally kick this. Last night I went to bed at 7:30 and woke up this morning at 6:30. I can't remember the last time I slept that much.

Bear with me as I rant a bit- So I closed down daycare, which has upset just about everyone. It really infuriates me that when I close and believe me it ain't very often, I get all kinds of guilt and sob stories. I understand it is a huge inconvenience for all involved but for crying out loud I deserve a small amount of respect. I didn't close down because I broke a nail. What makes me upset is that not one parent has a back up in place. But again somehow that's my fault! Normally I would get my sister to help out but she has pinkeye and my niece has strep throat. So I seriously doubt that they should be around the kids.

Oh, I'm sorry you're truly sick! I am glad you aren't feeling too terrible, though! I hope it passes quickly!

Bob and I celebrated Vday last night. He loved his photo book, saying it was the most personal gift he has ever received. He got me a box of chocolates and diamond earrings! The kids even got little gifts from him. All in all it was a great night.

I hope everyone has a great day today! Like Glynis, I didn't think we were going to do anything for V-Day, but apparently Jonathan had different ideas, so I'm scrambling, too! Not sure what all he has planned, but I did get a lovely vase of tulips this morning, so that was a nice surprise . (Although I'm the first to tell you that florists commit highway robbery on V-Day!) We won't go to dinner tonight, but have plans to go out Saturday night - the crowds will not be worth it tonight!

If anyone has any last-minute gift ideas, let me know! He really needs some new ties and a new dive mask, so I'm thinking of just telling him that we'll go shopping for those things together. I did order him the WDW monorail t-shirt with the "Por favor..." spiel on it, but it's on backorder, so who knows when it will come in!

I keep thinking about my friend that is at WDW right now, and I'm very jealous. I scheduled them to drop her son off at the Sandcastle Club tonight, and they're to go see IllumiNations and eat dinner at the Yachstman Steakhouse. I want that Valentine's Day!

Las Vegas! (Don't have to twist Bob's arm on that one - Vegas to Bob is like WDW to me! )
A FAM came across for the Wynn - includes two nights, show tickets to Le Reve, 4 hours of meetings for me which includes site inspection, and then dinner at their buffet. It's only for two nights but it'll be fun! Bob's not fond of "Las Vegas Shows" so Mom is meeting us there and she'll go to the show with me - Bob will sit at the slots. During my meeting, Mom offered to treat Bob to breakfast (if he's still not sitting at the slots) and then we might go to Red Rock or Hoover Dam.

That sounds like a wonderful trip!

Well, have you been in there this week? Even people I'm assuming were frequent shoppers there say it isn't usually the WHOLE store. It is this time! And I think I bought everything! They NEVER used to have sales that good when we shopped there for Cassi (over a decade ago, but still! ). If you're right and not those folks, I'm doomed!


Seriously, I should never have found out the genders. I wasn't buying a ton of gender neutral stuff, because it just isn't as cute. Then, for almost a week (sort of) I held off buying anything specific, because I KNOW people will buy clothes and we'll end up with more than we could ever truly need.

$220 later......................

But seriously, I got about 35 items -- many of which were 3 piece outfits, 4 packs of onesies, etc. I so missed shopping there! My 15-year-old sister just doesn't fit in any of their clothes anymore!


ETA: Oooh, now I'm dying to go back into gymboree!
