Good luck with the ped. search. Finding doctors in our area is murderously difficult, don't you think? Because of that (and other obvious reasons) I am glad it is YOU who will be doing the searching!

The benefit is we have a PPO instead of HMO, so I have a lot to choose from. It's just finding the RIGHT one, that is also accepting new patients.

Yep! I had been looking for more family pictures and finally had the time to look at our PhotoPass CD this morning. Lo and behold... two that worked very well.

ETA: And YOU changed your pictures again too!! Love that!

my mom has said it is infinitely harder to find a physician in her area....it's her excuse for being off her meds. I wonder why it's so hard up in your neck of the woods??

Alyssa went to the doctor, and has just a viral cold. He said it is going around and almost as bad as the flu. So she will just get motrin and lots of water. I also found out that our ped is retiring at the end of April. So now I have to be on the search for a new one. John asked if I wanted to do it or if I wanted him to. DUH! That's a no-brainer. Who knows what criteria he would use to judge a good doctor!

Good luck finding a new ped! Glad to hear Alyssa's illness is nothing too serious!

according to my mom....everything....not really but it really bugs her that most movies are so easy for me to see the predictability in. Only one movie has surprised me in almost 20 years and that was a John Cusack one.....I can't even think of the name right now...and such a good movie.

Jennifer - I keep forgetting to respond to your question from last night.

One of the bloggers on AllEars had posted in December about a t-shirt he bought that had the monorail (and the DL castle ) on it with the "por favor...." spiel on it. He then posted shortly thereafter that the shirt was no longer available, and he was sorry to get everyone's hopes up.

But - apparently they're just on backorder, as someone sent the info. in to the AllEars newsletter this week with all the pertinent ordering info. I called WDW Merchandise Mail-Order this week, and they knew exactly what I was talking about. They had expected the new shipment in by February, but assured me I would get a shirt sent out when they finally came in.

Needless to say, Jonathan was thrilled with that little gift. One of his favorite things to do is repeat that phrase.

Our weather is rapidly tanking! Luckily Princess and I have finished our grocery shopping so we can stay IN for the rest of the day. She's having some crackers and watching Handy Manny.

Disney Shopping has an extra 25% off. Code is PRESDAY25. The code on the site is only for 20% - I got the 25% in an e-mail. It works on the pins, which are still on sale, so I bought more. I hate Jessica Rabbit but I bought 25 Jessica pins for $2.55 each (before tax). The pins I ordered will give each of us about 40 more traders. I need to count how many we already have on hand - I think maybe 50ish? I think we each had about 120 before the December trip but I can't remember how many I took to trade. DS brought home some traders, so he probably has more traders than DH and I. There is no way we are going to be able to continue with trading 20 pins each per day. That would mean nearly 1000 traders for August!

Not too bad. So far the temp has dropped about 10 degrees since I got to work and it is starting to rain. Just sprinkling so far, but it is supposed to get worse as the day progresses. Tomorrow we are supposed to have 100% rain coverage of up to 3 inches. I HATE to load groceries into the car in the rain so my main goal was to get home before it started to rain hard.

I just realized AKL IPO never responded to me about my Y&Y ADR. I got an auto response that they would get back to me in 24 hours. That was 48 hours ago. I know it's not important to THEM, especially since it is so far out, but it is important to ME. I wonder if I should call IPO or just call Dining and be done with it?

EDIT:
I called and they actually already made the ADR, they just hadn't gotten around to sending the confirmation number to me yet. Good. Now ALL of my ADRs are finished!

If I look like I might be thinking about reading ANY of the threads on "Codes and Rates" would someone please slap me? I just get so ANGRY reading about these people who gets HUNDREDS of dollars slashed off their prices just by calling!

A little CONSISTENCY would be ever so lovely! If they are going to offer staggering discounts to people who call and ask then the least they could do is give them to EVERYONE who calls and asks!
