Hi, DDA!
Just popping in really quickly - I'm actually in Anne Marie's neck of the woods (NYC) today/tonight, but leaving to come back home in the morning. It was a whirlwind trip for work, and I must say, I enjoy NYC much more as a tourist vs. a professional trying to get some work done!
(I can also testify to the fact that the Sheraton New York Towers is a cr*&ppy hotel. Don't ever stay here!!!)
From what I can remember:

for your dad, Tammi. My dad had this procedure done a couple of years ago, and while it was a bit worrisome at the time, all has been well (knock on wood). I hope your father has similar success!
Elin - yay for Kathrin's new job! I was speaking with a partner from the Boston office tonight for a long time about the city, and thought of her. Also reminds me that I miss Boston since I haven't been in a few years!
I'm so glad to hear that the DDA family made it through last night's storms okay. This weather is so wild - it was much colder in Dallas when I left this morning that it has been this entire time in NYC!
Elizabeth - congrats to DS! So sorry about the locker fiasco!
Bernadette - yay for a good stroller purchase!
Deb and Vicki - good luck with all of your projects! I've been thinking something similar lately - I need to limit my DIS time, as I just see hours getting eaten up by it! I could definitely stand to use those hours elsewhere, unfortunately!
Amy - that package sounds delicious! I see the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
Anne Marie - Hairspray sounded like a lot of fun, and what a great way to spend time with Katie. I assume she's feeling better - glad to hear it! Wish I were in NY longer, so we maybe could have met up!
Tia - good luck with the b-day prep!
Paula and Denise - it was good to see you both posting!
Theresa - I'm very jealous that you guys got Scott, but not terribly surprised, as his mother wanted him to go to CU to be with his "uncle." And we all know when momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy! To answer your question, we probably won't be traveling to the CU/
UT game, but I'll keep you posted if that should change. We'll have a ton of home games next season, and my parents unfortunately did not have a pleasant experience when they were up there for a game a few years back. CU fans don't have the best reputation!
Well, my eyes are blurring, and I need to be up early tomorrow to climb on a plane back to Dallas. My knee is also killing me, as when I was hauling my suitcase up the entrance stairs to the hotel, my heel got caught in my pant cuff, and my knee broke my fall on the concrete steps. I'm afraid after running around/standing on it for the last 8 hours that it is going to be a balloon tomorrow!
Good night, DDA!
And good morning to the early risers!!!!!
