However (and it is a BIG however, to me!)... they are $10,000 apart in salary offers!Of course, the one she wants more is the one offering less money. She countered and they will get back to her on Monday. But, it is definite that she will be headed to Boston now.

Good for her!!!! I hope her counter offer works!

I didn't. No need to rub salt in the wound. We found your EXACT camera and I tried to get him to buy it but he refused.
Ordinarily I like to be right. I REALLY like to be right. But I would have preferred to be wrong about the camera.
I wish he could have gotten some amazing shots at WDW so his interest wouldn't have deflated so quickly. As it is I think he is disappointed and kind of bitter about the camera he bought. He denies it, but that is what I suspect. He talks about buying more accessories for it but I don't think that will help anything. Yes, a tripod will help, but more lenses and an external flash and all that crap won't matter until he gets better with the basic camera. I also don't think the photo board is the place to go if you are feeling bad about your camera and/or yourself!
We have no clue what our point & shoot cameras are capable of - I suspect we could do OK with them if we had more knowledge. I am just not interested in photography as a hobby.
Elizabeth, what model of Olympus does he have? My SIL has an Olympus, and despite some buyer's remorse there, she has been able to manipulate it to take some pretty decent photos.
If we ever get our guys together, Jonathan is a good tutor on cameras! He has taught his mom, SIL, and his coworker how to use them.

I want Tinkerbell back! She was awesome and I don't like the replacement one in Photopass.
This makes me sad - that's my favorite border! Why in the world would they remove it?

Love that guy.
So now he says he would like to bring his DD. We would need a 2 br, as the studios and 1 br only sleep 4. I can't afford the pts. for a 2 br, so he might be renting his own points. I'm trying to talk him into him buying into DVC because if the 5 of us will be traveling we will definitely need them.
Anne Marie - how come the reg. rooms at BC sleep 5 but the villas don't? Any idea?
Tammi - I'm guessing it's because the std. rooms at the BC have 2 queens, and a daybed, so they can sleep 5. The configurations for the studios and 1 BR don't have a sleeping spot for a 5th person.
I've read on the DVC board in the past that MS will allow you to book 5 people into a 1 BR, but their line is that they don't provide anything for that 5th person - no extra towels, no additional linens, etc. I'm guessing you could bring a blow-up bed for the 5th person, especially if you drive.
The only downside is that the 5th person wouldn't get a room key, so that could prove to be a problem for evening EMH's.
Good luck!
