It has been a little while since I posted this trip report so I thought I would do a little recap:
Day 1 stayed at Logan's Hyatt. Joe LOVED it!
Day 2 fly to MCO, Sci Fi for an early dinner, MK for "Ice" castle, rode BTMRR 4 times in a row
Day 3 AK for early entry, EE 3 times, late breakfast at Tusker House, swim at Pop, dinner at California Grill
Day 4 early entry at Epcot, Soarin, Test Track 3 times, late breakfast at Cape May
So after a great meal at Cape May with the best character interaction of any meal, we walked back to Epcot. We started our World tour in France. They told us Marie would be out at 12:30 so we headed over to Morocco and Japan and then went back to France. We waited a while and I asked again at 12:45 and they called this time and said she wouldn't be out today.
Joe took this picture while we were waiting (ETA-now that I see the photo....I guess he took it after we found out Marie wouldn't be out-see the time):
In Morocco Aladdin was just heading in and they said he would back with Genie at 2:30. In Japan I noticed that the candy lady would be out at 2:15 so I figured this would work out for us. We did USA, Italy, Germany, China, and Norway. We rode Malestrom and rushed back to Japan to get there just after 2:00. We were the 4th family there.
The candy lady in Japan is awesome!!!!! We were told later that she is one of just 15 folks in the world who can do this. We watched in awe as she made a crane, canary, kangaroo, aligator and panda bear. Joe was her 6th and final lucky guest. He asked her a turtle. We gave her a thank you card and got a photo. She is simply amazing!!!!! (You can see in this photo that Joe didn't want to do a mask so he put the "charms" on his future world necklace).
We went back to Morocco and saw Aladdin who was out with Jasmine-who Joe had never seen before.
We then went to the UK and Canada. We saw Koda & Kenai in Canada. Koda is very playfull. We bought Lizzy a husky in Canada-she's been eyeing them for the past several trips. The CM's there LOVED Joe's turtle!
It was now time to head to MGM for our ADR at Brown Derby. At the international gateway one of the CM's had an Everest Fast Pass pin that Joe wanted to trade but when she saw his birthday button she gave it to him. He gave her a thank you card and she asked him to sign her autograph book so Joe asked her to sign his book. She was so nice to Joe!
We walked over to the BC to take the boat to MGM. At MGM I picked up a time guide and noticed that Remy wasn't on the character schedule. We stopped at the info booth and they called and told us the Remy & Emile had gone back to cooking school and weren't appearing anywhere in WDW.

The CM's were really nice and loved Joe's book and turtle.
We went to Brown Derby. By now Joe was getting tired. He had a hot dog. I had a nice salad, filet, and the grapefruit cake. It was good but not great like the last time I was there. Joe got gummy worms in dirt (oreos), vanilla ice cream and a chocolate chip cookie.
We had our photo taken and I walked through a store but decided I'd rather be cold than pay $40 for a sweatshirt-I wasn't planning on being out all day. Joe did have his. Fantasmic was very crowded. We sat up high so that we could make our escape when the show was over. I ended up putting Joe on my lap so 2 other folks could sit down. When the show was over I realized I spilt a cup of water on my mesh daypack. Thank goodness I had Joe's book in a ziplock bag but his necklace from Epcot got all wet. We had to stop at the restroom on the way out but still beat the majority of the crowds out. We were happy to get a seat on the bus with very little wait. We stopped at the giftshop to pickup our Tusker House photo and Emma's HUGE Tree of Life playset. Joe tried his turtle in the room and said it was good but hasn't eaten any more of it since. He wanted to see my photos on the TV but fell asleep very quickly.
