Debbie - I hope you both have a wonderful, magical time!!!

That is horrible news, 5 years and now showing regrowth:sad1: To be honest that is our worst nightmare. Prayers heading her way that the chemo and shrink it and maybe then it can be removed? I do know how your family feels and I totally emphathize.

The back says April 1989 ;)

Beth- Good luck to your sister in law. I hope they caught it early enough that it is relatively easy to treat.

Deb- I know the feeling. Its only been a bit over 2 months since my surgery and I have another cyst. Typically they go away on their own in two to three cycles. I am hoping it goes away by my follow up ultrasound but given my history who knows.

Great picture Jen

Marci- Good luck! You are in my thoughts.

Debbie- Have a great trip.

I have a busy weekend. I went to my Aunt's Jewelry party tonight. I have to work tomorrow. Sunday I am leaving bright and early to head to NYC for the D23 event at the new Disney store. Initially I was not able to get a ticket, but a friend who was going got two tickets. The person who is a mutual friend is unable to go. She knew I tried to get a ticket, so now I am going.

We are on our way I need this trip more than any before

Have an absolutely wonderful time! You deserve it!

Have a great trip!!!

I'm exhausted, but wanted to quickly check in. My job is going really well. I started making calls today and by myself to boot. Things went really well and my supervisor said that I'm doing awesome:rolleyes1 The day flew by as I was busy. I even scheduled 3 site visits which I totally did not expect. Maybe one of them will actually buy a system:confused3

I picked up the cupcakes for the party then came home and started to clean. It amazes me how quickly a house can get messy when you are focusing your attention on one room. Things are much cleaner now. Chris and I were outside with a flashlight setting up as many of the activities as we could. Chris works until 1 tomorrow and the party starts at 2 so I needed as much help as I could get tonight. Hopefully I'll have time to finish up after bowling tomorrow. I've been going nonstop for the last 3 weeks. Maybe I'll actually have a few minutes of down time on Sunday before my life kicks back into overdrive.

:guilty:Prayers going out to those of you in need right now:wizard:

Terra's pumpkins are the left and right ones. Left she made for Deva and it's a baby with a (real) pacifier. The right is supposed to be Baby Mouse from the Baby Mouse books.

Our zoo's male orangutan died about a month ago and Terra found it very sad. Here she's commiserating with Mera, the adult female (we also have a 6yo female) who was definitely still mourning the loss to see her face. I just wish I could have gotten a better shot of Terra's face as well.

We finally got our car back this evening as well!!! Just 16 days after having it towed there. They had said it was the fuel pump and would be $802. I never knew if that included the $90 for diagnosis and then also knew there was another $40 because the part that holds the fuel pump in place was almost certainly going to break when they took it off. Well, the pump was in as of last Friday, but the car still wouldn't start. They spend a solid 3 days this week trying to diagnose why, repaired a short in a wire (that probably let to the pump burning out in the first place), found and fixed a leak in the gas line and maybe something else. I pick it up with a total bill of $847. They said that they had quoted me one price and that's what they were charging me regardless of the extra work needed. The guy even topped off all of my fluids for me and was going to replace the headlight until he saw that it was a wire issue (the part is waiting for me to go pick up already anyway). I'm not quite sure how I've gotten so lucky with mechanics lately (this was a difference place since the car broke down 20 miles from home), but man am I happy that I was!

In other good news, I got a letter yesterday from the hospital where I had my scans that diagnosed the diverticulitis saying that they had reviewed my account and due to our financial standing were putting a 100% discount on my account. I called to see if that was just me or if Phil was linked to me. The lady said that he hadn't been, but that she was linking it right then and the discount would carry over to him. He has had various tests and doctor visits done at that hospital over the last 2-3 years and I've been slowly paying off several thousand dollars of bills between the two of us. Now they are just gone! What a blessing and answer to prayer!!!

And now that I've caught up on the picture promised I've made to many, I've got to get some sleep! We've still got s'mores to make before that happens as tonight was supposed to be a downstairs campout with Terra too. Night all.

Boy, lots of things to comment on today!

Debbie - I know I missed you all, but I hope you have a very special trip to WDW!

Marci -I am continuing to keep you in my thoughts.

Deb - I am glad things are going well with the new job. Have fun at the parties today!

Becky - Sounds like you have a fun day planned in NYC!

Tia - Loved the pictures! and how wonderful to have such good financial luck this week. :)

This is my last "free" weekend until we leave for WDW next month. It's the most wonderful time of the year, don't you know? ;)

Tia - I loved the pictures! Everytime I thought I had a favorite, I went on to the next, and it kept changing.

Deb - from one full time working mom to the other, get used to it.....you won't have any downtime for about the next 10 years!

Good morning, DDA!

Gotta go run a few errands before kids start descending on my house. Today has turned into cousin play day.

Tia - LOVE the pictures, especially the sister ones

We had great travel weather this trip, arrived at Beach Club, checked in, had lunch at Beaches and Cream, took the boat to the Studios, got stuck on TOT and now we're back at the resort, all moved in and Richie is yelling at the TV, Bama is playing LSU. After the break we'll be going to Joes Crab Shack or dinner, picking up a few grocery items at Winn Dixie and probably call it an early night, we have an early ADR at CP in the morning.

We are in BCV studio # 455, we have an Epcot view, too bad the trees block most of it, but our balcony is HUGE, we could have a party out there.

Sounds like a great first day, Debbie!

I agree with Tammi, Debbie - sounds pretty perfect for your first day!

Both your girls are beautiful :goodvibes Thanks for sharing

It sounds like the financial angels are shining down on you. Maybe the inlaws will come through with the house soon :wizard:

I got the EOB from Nick acne visit. $25 copay for the visit and $200 for the bloodwork. That will be monthly for 5 to 6 months:scared1: It is definitely working, but geesh that is a ton of money. Plus we are paying down the balance from Hunter's MRI last June.

Tia - I loved the pictures! Everytime I thought I had a favorite, I went on to the next, and it kept changing.

Deb - from one full time working mom to the other, get used to it.....you won't have any downtime for about the next 10 years!

I have the advantage of another adult to share the parenting with. Hopefully I'll find some time at some point. Ideally I will get to cut back to one job someday :rotfl:
