DDA Chapter 26

I spent time last night trying to figure out a vacation for next spring/summer. If we go to Disney it has to be during the kids April Vacation week. The airfare is ridiculous for that week so it looks like that is out. Vacation in the summer will have to be in August since Nick has driver's ed the first 5 weeks of summer. By August our Annual passes have expired. I looked at cruises, but it is still to early to find any good deals. We may end up camping for a week. Who knows at this point. Of course my personality doesn't accept last minute vacations

It was very windy here last night. Something was rubbing against our window or at least I think that is what was happening. I need Chris to check it out after work as it kept me up from 4 AM on I'm sure to be tired today.

Debbie - I cannot believe you get to see the Osborne Lights tonight! I am jealous. I cannot wait to see them again next month. Hope you and Richie are having lots of fun in what appears to be much-dimished crowds!

We had a pretty relaxing weekend. The kids had off Friday for teacher conferences. We had no major plans except Katie had a party to go to on Saturday. The rest of us played alot of Wii which got us all moving. I experimented with a pork loin in the crockpot which came out great & the family loved it. Very exciting I know!

I'm the same way!!! I've been researching for weeks now. I have some cabins reserved at Yellowstone, because they are so hard to get, but I don't know if that will pan out. Also looking at cruises again, which is the kids' preference. Bob is, AGAIN, holding up plans because his psycho ex won't communicate with him regarding Bethany's summer, which infuriates me to no end. She is extreme baggage!!!!

We loved Yellowstone! There is so much to do and see. We were talking about it the other night, and Miles, Laura, and I really want to go back. (Matthew wasn't home for the conversation and dh isn't really a traveler, but he did enjoy himself while we were there.)

Sounds like the perfect weekend to me. Our kids have Thursday off for Veteran's Day and Friday off for parent/teacher conferences. We need to do some college visits, but I'd love to do a whole lot of nothing for the weekend instead.

We have nothing planned for summer vacation. It depends on a number of factors that I have no control over. It's going to have to be a budget one this year, so I know that WDW or major travel is out. Matthew may get an internship this summer, so it depends on where he is and what his work schedule is like. (We may have to do something without him. ) Laura hasn't chosen a college yet, so a lot depends on where she'll be located and the start date as well as her summer work schedule. Maybe we'll just be at home all summer. Maybe a short trip to New England or to see relatives in Ohio.

You're bedroom is beautiful and very restful! I need to get back into redecorating/cleaning around here. The living room and dining room still don't have anything on the walls, and the entire rest of the house needs to be deep cleaned, painted, refloored, etc.

so had my ultrasound this morning. I have some big girls in their. Julia is measuring 29 wks and 6 days and weighs 3lbs 4 oz. Sabrina is measuring 31 weeks and weighs 3lbs 10 oz. I am 28 wk and 4 days. Blood Sugars have been doing good.

I'm glad things are going well. What is the magic date to make it to for a safe delivery.

I am sorry it has taken me more than a week to post another day on my trip report. I have been having a real hard time with my Vertigo and have been doing a lot of sleeping. I went back to see an ENT and he has ordered a MRI because I have had bouts of double vision. I hope to get that done this week.

Debbie, your trip is sounding fabulous! I wish I were there. Friends just came back from WDW and said that it was great and only crowded on Halloween weekend.

I have to get moving this morning. I have absolutely no desire to go to preschool today, and I don't know why. I'm sure once the kids start coming in, I'll feel happier. It's a short week this week, and we're heading on a three college tour Thurs-Sat. She really needs to get moving on that. I wish all the applications were done!
