OK... something is just not right if I am the last to post at night and the first to post in the morning. Unless I am missing posts again.

Well Kristine so much for my guess. After you posted the stich was out I had a feeling you would have her today, but not if the contractions have slowed.

Nope, Elin. You WERE the last to post at night and first this morning. :)

I wish! I hate this waiting around. Someone sent me this recipe that is supposed to start labor. I can see why... It has 50 steps to make darn eggplant!

I was hoping for Jenna news. Come on little girl, all your aunties are antsy for your arrival. I can't imagine how eager Mommy and Daddy are:goodvibes

K - are you more comfortable now that the stitch is out?

That happened to me once. It's even less right for me, since I don't post very late at night or very early in the morning.

Good morning, DDA!

Kristine, you're in my thoughts!

/
Well it seems like your little girl is goning to make you wait the full 40 weeks.

K - Have you tried jumping up and down yet?

Kristine - I think she's shy. She was so excited, at first, but now she's reconsidered, and is being shy.

It's an early morning here, but I need to get myself ready for bowling, and the kids out the door to school. We had a great night last night. Jacob and I had pack meeting, and the whole family went. Jacob (and 6 of my other Webelos) worked so hard this past summer, that they were all able to receive their Arrow of Light award. For those not in to Scouting, this is the highest award a Cub Scout can get, and the only award that they can keep on their Boy Scout uniform, after they leave cubs! It was a really special night. We had a special presenter there, and our cub master went all out, and ordered a special cake for the night. It was really neat to see all "my" boys all uniformed up, and taking this so seriously! It was also neat to see the faces of the younger boys, full of awe as they watched the whole ceremony! Just wonderful!!!

Well, today, after bowling, Alan and I are taking Timothy to look for "big boy beds." He absolutely will not go into his crib anymore. He will climb out of it onto the dresser and jump to the floor. We moved the dresser, but he still manages to climb out. No matter how many times I put him back in, he gets out. On Monday night we did that 15 times. Finally, I think he realized I was serious, so he stood in his crib, screaming at the top of his lungs until he triggered his gag reflex and threw up all over the bed. It happened again Tuesday and Wednesday, as well, so we are going to get rid of the crib, and try a toddler bed. Wish us luck! We need some sleep!

Elin, I just wanted to let you know that the DISboards are acting a little crazy for me, too. I received an e-mail notice that Glynis posted, but that post is nowhere to be found when I actually come to the thread. Weird!

Weird is right, Beth!!! I thought my post had just been swallowed up!

I even refreshed the page a couple of times and nothing until after I posted.

Of course, technology has all been messed up for me today anyway. First, my internet was out and it took forever to get it back up. Then I went out to check the cable to see if that was working, and the cable remote seems to think that pushing the 8 button should take you to channel 27. (That one will have to wait for my husband to fix.) Then my ZoomBrowser crashed every time I tried to upload photos. Maybe I should turn everything off and go back to bed.

The big announcement wasn't so big........

Disney Parks announcement: Nighttime show projected on Cinderella Castle to feature guest photos
Featured, News — By Sara K. Clarke on September 23, 2010 at 11:13 am

Disney Parks unveiled a new marketing campaign Thursday, saying park guests will be the stars of a nightly photo show to be projected on the spires of Cinderella Castle in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

The campaign, called “Let the Memories Begin,” will celebrate family vacation memories created in Disney theme parks every day, the company said.

Beginning in January 2011, Disney PhotoPass photographers will capture pictures of guests during the day that will be larger-than-life images during the nighttime show. As many as 500 images will be used every day, Disney said.

Disney will also begin featuring home videos and snapshots of real guests in television ads and other marketing, the company said.

At Walt Disney World Resort, the nighttime show will be projected on the spires of Cinderella Castle. At Disneyland Resort, the facade of “it’s a small world” will be the canvas for the show.

How disappointing! I was hoping it would be something more.
