9/23 is a great day for having a baby! I felt my first labor pains at 2am 25 years ago and she was born at 2:07pm. She was 5 weeks premature and had to be in an incubator for almost a week. Her lungs weren't fully developed. She also had to get shots in each hip twice a day. Poor baby! She was 6 lbs. 1 oz. but she was so weak. She slept all the time. We would have to wake her up to feed her and she'd fall back asleep before she would get enough. She's turned into a beautiful young woman.

Luckily, they have changed insurance so she can stay on mine until she is 26 whether she is married, in school, or whatever. She thinks that she may have a full-time job with benefits starting in October. She should find out soon. Keep your fingers crossed for Chuck & I.

The only reason I responded to Amy's post was that she pointed out to me on facebook this morning that she had made the post last night. I am really having problems with the DIS, I think. I got on here last night and started right where I left off posting yesterday. However, I see posts this morning that were not there for me last night. You posted them yesterday, but they were not on my list when I came back to the DIS.

If I miss responding to anything you said to me, please don't think I am being rude or ignoring you. (Amy knows that was not the case!! And I think that Vicki knows this has happened before.) I just didn't see them because they weren't there until today for me.

Back to your original programming....

ETA: I went back and looked carefully. Everything on page 123 was not there last night! I remember thinking when I posted my congrats to Tia that it was on page 123. Well... it is actually on page 124. Weird.....

Stitch is out...it wasn't the most horrible thing I have gone through...but in the top 5! Took longer than I thought it would...and of course now I am bleeding.

Having contractions....but not enough to send me to L & D So back home to hang around. Off to lay down.
