Elizabeth, you would be proud. I started packing. So my DD walks into my room as I'm unpacking all of my fish extender gifts because the bags were getting all messed up. So I put them together and packed them in my suitcase. And she said, what in the world are you doing? Packing. Isn't your trip 5 weeks away. Yup. Need to get packed.

It was a long day here. I worked tonight and didn't get home until after 10:30 PM. I think we're taking the kids to the drive in tomorrow night as we can see Toy Story 3 and The sorcerer's Apprentice

It's great to finally "see" you! What nice looking family you have. I'm so glad to hear that you had a fabulous trip. I would love to read your TR and see pictures!

ha ha.. I know what you mean "see" I am the one on the far left.. my mother is the far right.. then my three children in the middle.. The little one did not get to do a dolphin swim but they were so nice to get a pic and let him at least have that experience.. he couldn't take his eyes off the dolphin..

Hi Elizabeth,,,I am about halfway done packing of the things I can pack. FE gifts, toiletries, formal wear, and bits and pieces of things extra I need. I know I will do a repack the weekend before just to make sure I am under the 50lbs.

We have so many plans, our cruise will be jammed packed with lots of tastings, room tours, spa trips, of course eating, delivering FE gifts, etc. Lots of time on the veranda and fun excursions.

We're bumming. There is a 90% chance of rain by 11 PM so we can't do the drive in double feature. No point in trying to see a movie through the rain. Bigtime bummer.

Terry, it sounds amazing and perfect and memorable all rolled into one! MAYBE we will go on a cruise someday. DH is not convinced.

Right now I would settle for being able to use my spa certificate DH and DS gave me for my birthday. I keep hurting myself doing DS's room remodel and I don't want to go to the spa with open wounds!

Elizabeth, the thing about this cruise is there are a lot of folks that have cruised before but have welcomed us newcomers with open arms. We have a website with pictures and all kinds of information. I would tour with this group again and we haven't even cruised yet. I will admit tho that there are a lot of "A" type personalities but everyone wants all of us to have a magical time!!!

If hubby is not convinced, you will have to do a girls only cruise!!!! That could be fun even if it is only a four day cruise.

Use that certificate soon!!!!!

Good morning, DDA!

Our drive yesterday took just about exactly 9.5 hours, so we were home before 5:00 and missed most of the rain. We came a different route and got heavy rains through the Baltimore area again, but got off I-95 just south of Baltimore and drove through sunshine the rest of the way home. Not too bad.

Also, I was just able to get the new Room Only discounts that were posted this morning. I saved 25% on our Christmas vacation at AKL CL. Still hoping for a little bit better deal with an AP rate, but I will take this since I saved a little over $1200!

Wow! I have one last week of summer session classes to teach and we don't start back until the day after Labor Day!

Wow on the back to schools ! hope everyone's kiddos have a great 1st day. I go back to set up my room on the 23rd but classes dont start til the 7th!

I am so not ready for back-to-school, so I am glad that we have a couple more weeks here. Laura did start cross country practice this morning, and Matthew is probably heading back up to school next week. His classes don't start until 8/30, but he starts running a few days before that and wants a little time to settle in.

Hi, Elin we must have been driving right next to you! We spent the week in NYC to see family. Drove home yesterday & didn't get in until almost 11pm. It was a long drive!

We squeezed in as much as we could with our week. We went to a Met game , went to a Broadway Show, saw the King Tut exhibit (excellent), & went to the beach!!! The kids had a blast with their cousins. What a great week!!!
