Have a safe trip home Tammi, I definitely love Splash!

Looks great Beth, I love the window

We're here in Tallahassee headed to Disney in the morning, o course we went through some bad weather

I was a groundhog... a woodchuck... I think that beats all the warriors and beavers and is equal to Abi's gopher! :rotfl:

Debbie - continued safe travels. Do you EVER make that trip without bad weather?!?!?

Thanks! It is way better than it was. You just can't look too closely. I am so happy with the new carpet. :lovestruc The old carpet was most likely over thirty years old (definitely more than 21 years old), light blue (originally), and very, very stained. The hardwood floors under the carpet ended being in much nicer shape than we knew. Maybe next time (in 20 years :rotfl:) we'll refinish those instead.

The Beetdiggers? What is a Beetdigger? Is it a piece of farm equipment? An animal that I've never heard of? A person that digs beets?

Congratulations to Abi! It's great that they were impressed with her scores, and she'll get off on the right foot that way. Go, Gophers!

I was a Viking. My kids are Tigers. Some of the others around here are Golden Bears, Wildcats, Spartans, Indians (that one is not pc and often debates changing), and Sabers.

Chuck & I were both Eagles - he was an Eagle River Eagle and I was an Engadine Eagle. The girls were Kingsford Flivvers. What is a Flivver you ask? Why that is an early car made by the Ford Motor Company in the Kingsford/Iron Mountain area. How frightening is that??!! :lmao:

Beth - The room looks great! You all did a wonderful job. Good luck finding a curtain rod.

Tammy - Can't wait to hear all about the trip.

Debbie - Safe travels!

Theresa - Glad you finally got Abi registered!

I was a Kearny Komet, our kids were Manheim Central Barons and Hal went to one year of high school and was Annville Little Dutchmen and finally for military school it was Massanutten Colonels. nuff said!!!

Terry and Stephanie - Did you all get the emails I sent to you about breakfast on October 4?

Good morning, DDA!

We leave here in one week! (Though we don't have our first Disney day until that Saturday.) One week! How did that sneak up on me so fast?! Mostly :woohoo::yay: but a little :scared1:.

Hi everyone! We head home tonight. Going to DTD today before the airport. I thought about you last night Debbie as we road Splash Mtn at closing. Have a great trip!

I very surprised that we didn't run into you. We were at MK until after the fireworks.

This is my "new" living room and dining room. I don't have before pictures, but it was bad. I still need curtains and photos for the walls. Eventually, I'd like to replace the furniture, but that is way down on the list of priorities right now.

Very nice :thumbsup2 You did a very professional job.

We are running out for BBQ supplies this morning then off to Epcot for the rest of the day.

Good morning!

We're home!

In the words of my kids.......it was AWESOME!

Anything noteworthy going on? I read the last few pages but that's been it. Beth, your living room looks great! Love the huge window.

Kristine, how are you doing?

We were there for opening and stayed until about 1:30, then we left and went back to the resort to swim for awhile. Dinner was at The Wave at 7 and after that we went back to MK. The 9pm parade was just starting so we hopped on the train to Toontown. Rode SM with our FPs from earlier, then got right in front of the Castle for the fireworks. I must say, I like Wishes better. I hope this isn't something permanent that Disney is testing out. It was crazy trying to get out of the hub afterwards, but we finally made it over to Liberty Sqare where we sat and waited for the 11PM parade. We still had FPs for Splash so we rode that when the parade was over.

Bernadette and her family were the only ones we saw. I looked and looked for Anne Marie at the Beach Club and Stormalong Bay but we never saw them. :(

Have fun tomorrow! Tell everyone hello for us!

Thanks, Tammi!

I can't wait to hear all about the trip and see lots of photos!

I still can't believe that we are leaving in a week! I really should be doing something...like counting Miles' shorts and making lists of what I still need to go get.

I am so excited,,,Stephanie and I just got our Southwest tickets for the flight home,,,,,,$89 total with tax!!!!!!! :thumbsup2:woohoo::cool1:

On Sunday we went shopping and we both found a dress for the cruise. I managed to fine one that looks almost like the purple dress I wore for Steven's wedding. This one is royal blue and when I checked the tags it is by the same designer!!!:thumbsup2

We are so ready for this trip :yay::dance3:

We're here and moved in, I like to completely unpack and set things up, now we're headed to make a grocery run and then off to the Magic Kingdom.
