Hi guys. Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers (and soup recipes!) It's been a crazy two weeks. They found this through an annual mammogram. I've been doing them annually since Mom had cancer 14 years ago. Be vigilant about going to get them when it's your time.

I have to go in Monday for a surgical clearance physical (surgery is 12+ hours if they are able to do reconstruction), Wednesday I have to get an injection near the lymph nodes, and Thursday I have day surgery for a sentinel node biopsy of my lymph nodes. If those are clear of cancer I can have reconstruction done on the day of my bil-lateral surgery, November 15th. If not, I'll have only the regular surgery and after I heal chemo, then reconstruction at a later date.

Thanks again. :goodvibes

I hope that the lymph nodes are clear and that you can put this behind you in one surgery :wizard:

Marci, I'll be praying for a clear sentinel node.

Today is Hunter's 13th Birthday :cool1: he was so excited that he went to bed at 7 last night cause he wanted to get up a midnight to open his gifts :lmao: We let him, how could we not? I went grocery shopping then came home and had the boys help me put together 24 goodie bags for their parties on the 6th. Between starting a full time job next Monday and Halloween activities next weekend, I thought I should get that done. After those were done I put the embellishements on the Disney Ornaments that I was making. Those are done now. I think I've made about 65 :hippie: Time had gotten away from me by then so I had to throw together dinner for 10. Hunter requested meatloaf so I made that, mac and cheese, fruit salad, rice, carrots, garlic buns and french fries. It was yummy. After dinner we played a few games of BINGO, did the dishes then had cake. My DM made his favorite cake, white cake with cherry frosting. It was yummy and I had bought some bon bons to go with it. The adults watched the end of the Patriots game while Chris and I sorted through a huge basket of socks. I hate sorting socks, but it is nice to have those all put away. Now were waiting for Nick to come home from his girlfriend's house and waiting for the amazing race to come on.

We had a nice weekend. Saturday we took the kids to play tennis. We had fun & some much needed excercise. I had made taco meat in the crockpot too but I added too much liquid so it was more like turkey soup..tasty though.

Have a great day DDA.
