I understand that they do fit BAB. Part of the reason that I am concerned I may have an addition coming to the family. :lmao:
So will you need a Duffy because you already have lots of cute BAB clothes or will you need Duffy's outfits because you already have BAB bear at home. You might as well get both!:rotfl2:

Sophie is a budding chef & I wanted to get her an apron with her name on it...anyone know where I could get that? She's 9 but a big girl so I am not sure if I should get her a child or adult apron for her. I think I am going to get her a bunch of pink cooking gadgets & stick them in the apron.
You could make her one. I bet she would love a homemade gift from Mom! Maybe Katie could make her one-how is her sewing class going?

Sounds great, I will PM you my email. I love the recipe cards. Those would be great on card stock. She loves to make up recipes too so those blanks would be perfect. Thanks again for the suggestion.
You could print them on blank 4x6 index cards.

why am I so tired. I have done nothing today. I slept good last night. I am ready for a nap. Just a little over 11 weeks to go hopefully. Then the real fun will begin.
Wow-they will be here before you know it. How exciting. I can imagine you must be exhausted.

You could make her one.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::laughing::lmao::laughing:

Now seriously!!!:rotfl: I cannot sew. :sad2: Never used a machine & can only sew by hand which looks like I did it with my foot. :eek: :laughing:

Katie is doing much better, thanks but she doesn't like the class..I guess she'll never be on Project Runway!:rolleyes::laughing:

Thanks Elin!

Wow, only 2 posts today :confused:

I have been spending every free minute working on the closet. Today was 3 coats of paint, a floor and door. Tomorrow I will finish installing trim and shelves and load stuff in. Nick's girlfriend is coming for dinner tomorrow night instead of Thursday which means I lost 24 hours to clean the mess up. I hope that I can get it somewhere near clean before we have to go pick her up.

In other news...

I GOT A JOB:cool1::cool1:

It is at GroSolar which is a company that installs solar panels in homes and businesses. It was my first choice job of the 3 that I interviewed for. The vacation time is accrued by pay period, The pay is $3.50/hr better than my previous offer and there is room to grow with the quickly expanding business. I'm really excited. They are mailing me an official offer so I will find out more specifics (like how much health insurance costs) when that arrives.

Great news, Deb and Theresa! Congrats to you both!

Good morning...Happy Wednesday!

Not too much to report here. I am going to do alittle Christmas shopping today. Mostly lots of books for my kiddos.

Hooray! Congrats, Deb!!!

Congrats, Theresa!!!

Sounds like the job fairy came through this week!!!

I'm like Anne Marie. I'm doing a little Christmas shopping today. Costco has a coupon for 30 dollars off a DSi, and that's what Jacob is getting. I'll pick that up, and also a crock pot for my sister. I love it when she actually tells me what she wants! Makes my life so much easier!

That's a good deal!

I think Daniel wants the DSi but I have to run it by him without him knowing what I am doing. I went looking for a pink scooter for Sophie. I only found a toddler one in Target. They had a razor scooter but I wanted something more girlie. There was a Basketball 2010 Wii game for $19.99 that I picked up for Daniel. The game was almost $50 last week but the new 2011 one came out so they lowered the price on the 2010 one. :thumbsup2

YEAH, Deb!!! That's great news!! :banana:

And a big yeah for you too, Theresa!!! I know you are so happy to finally have something. I've always liked working at Target so hopefully that's a good place for you. Good luck to Cassidy for her interview tomorrow.

I spent the morning trying to figure out what to do with my car which was stranded at the zoo after yesterday's disaster. When we tried to leave the zoo yesterday it wouldn't start. Called and got Mom to pick up Phil and let him take her car to the dentist and then went back to the zoo for a little bit hoping it would start when we tried again like it had for Phil the day before (yes, I know so should not have driven that far after Phil's experience, but didn't quite wrap my mind around that soon enough). Went out at 4:30 and tried again with no luck. Called Mom to call Phil and have him come get us after the dentist. Didn't realize how much longer he'd be at the dentist and then he spent 30 minutes trying to find us because my phone was dead and I hadn't realized Mom didn't know how to tell him where we were in the park. He finally got us at 7:00 and we came home with plans to go back again this morning and figure it out. So, now our car's been towed to a Firestone near the zoo and we're already out $150 between the tow and diagnostic and don't even know what the repair is yet (either somewhere in fuel line or spark plugs). :eek: :headache: Guess it's a good thing my charges start coming back next week.

That looks like a good deal but I don't have Costco and I really wanted to get Lizzy the blue one. I picked it up at lunch at Target. I got the last blue one they had. I paid $169.99 + 6.5% sales tax. Then I looked on amazon. I thought they were all $169 with free shipping but the blue one is $196 + 9.80 shipping. I'm glad I got her the blue one in the store.

I had read a few reviews that said the DSi "regular" was more portable than the XL but I'm glad I got the XL once I held it in my hands. It is portable enough! I know she's going to love it.

I'll have to look for that Basketball game. I bet Lizzy would like that.

Sorry for the car troubles! Hope you find a not too expensive fix!:wizard:

I forgot to say that I was thinking of you in Target today. They had cute Snoopy bags and notebooks in the dollar section.:thumbsup2

Theresa-I didn't realize your job was in Target. I love Target. The Target employees always seem happy to me. I would hope that must mean it is a good place to work.

sorry to all of the exchangers...it has been a hectic week around here....took nearly 3 hours yesterday in Target for the interview(s) and than some shopping. I am thrilled to even have the prospect of a job...it doesn't pay much but there is opportunity to quickly move up and I know my friends who have worked there have enjoyed it. It was one of the few times having been on food stamps worked to my advantage...I had recent "softline" experience at Goodwill...whoo hoo!!

I am also fighting a wicked cold and trying to organize the next fundraiser for the band....I guess when I said I'd think about it they all thought I meant I'll do it :confused3 oh well after the initial outlay of time it shouldn't be too bad.

Congrats Deb!! Hope this job is all you are hoping for.

I have been going through online_sweepstakes.com and trying to win Christmas presents....it will be a little easier now with a job to give the girls a decent Christmas but I wasn't so sure before. So I won Cassidy a necklace, a book (for myself) and a basket of chocolates(which we will eat soon) this week. I know some enter each and every contest they can but I only enter the ones I know I have a recipient for and I don't go through all of the hoops some want you to go through. So if I average 2 wins a month I will be happy (or less...I am happy winning anything!!)
