Elizabeth-we had CAKE!!! It was very good! I love white cake with chocolate frosting!

And cookies-haven't tried those yet but they sure are pretty. (I did have a snickerdooodle in the background of the cake photo that my SIL made. I love those too!)

Bernadette, I had chocolate cake for lunch. ;) And lime Tostitos. The cake was left over from dinner at PF Chang's the other night. Figured we should eat it before it went stale.

It would be a shame to waste cake!

I think I'll scope out BW Bakery in May to see if I can order a cake for DH's birthday when we go in July.

I really have to get on tweaking the May schedule a bit. I want to cancel a bunch of ADR's now that we aren't doing DxDDP & we are staying at BW instead of CR. Joe is still set on trying Artist Point so I guess we'll keep that but I think I book Yachtman's instead of Narcoosees. I might try to book a Boma breakfast too. I really enjoyed that in December and Joe is a good breakfast eater.:thumbsup2

This hasn't been a happy Easter here. Hunter woke up at 2 am with the tummy bug. He's been running in both directions ever since. He hasn't even touched his Easter Basket and he was the one that was looking most forward to it :sad2: He was too sick to even look for his basket, he had Nick find it. I was getting worried as he hadn't been able to keep even a sip of ginger ale down, thankfully he is starting to keep small sips down and I've even gotten a couple of small popsicles into him. We had to cancel lunch at my parent's house which put my Mom into a depressed mood. I know that she understands, but now they'll be home all day with nothing to do.

Nick and I had to run out for a couple of hours as we had to set up a huge sign in town for the Carnival and I had to buy popsicles for Hunter.
At 4 I have to be a work. Now I'm worried that we will all catch it and I just don't have time for it until at least next Sunday..:wizard:
oh no poor Hunter. I hope he feels better fast and that none of you get it. Did you get the contacts figured out.

Would that be the Great Wall of Chocolate?!! Yum! :)

Deb, I hope Hunter is feeling better, and the rest of you avoid his bug.

Heidi, I hope your recovery goes well and John takes good care of you! :goodvibes

Tia, please try to squeeze in a little rest when you can!

Awesome pictures, Debbie! I'm sorry you are in so much pain thought.

Happy Easter DDA!

The doctor has not called me back. I'm sure the woman that screwed the order up hasn't even passed the message on to him. I will call next week after I have the Carnival behind me. Hunter is still feeling miserable. He has been able to keep down a bit of fluids, but all he really wants to do is sleep. I told him he needs to sleep in my room tonight so that I can keep an eye on him. He was so sad this afternoon as he didn't get to enjoy any part of Easter, I told him that we would do a do over next Sunday so that we can have Easter dinner and I'll hide something for him since he didn't get to hunt for his basket.

I hope everyone's had a very happy Easter!

DH insisted on ordering the Great Wall of Chocolate, then he just left it in the fridge. Can't have that. So he split it with me this afternoon.

My cakes from Boardwalk Bakery have been delicious!

We've never been to AP. I like Yachtsman better than Narcoosee's in general. I just hope the new chef at Yachtsman has found his groove. We were disappointed in December. We're doing Boma breakfast on our departure day. DH said something about Sanaa today. I don't think we'll do an ADR. We might try to walk in after we get back from Universal. The menu is really just not my "thing". I think we'd be better off at Jiko, but if we want to do that we DO need an ADR.

I hope everyone had a nice day!

Deb, hope Hunter feels better soon!

Heidi, hope your knee isn't too painful!

I wasn't too impressed with Sanaa the one time I tried it the week it opened. I was really put off by the fact that you have to buy bread if you want it. The service I had was lousy-probably the worst I've had at Disney. The food was good but not so great that I want to go back.

Have a great trip Jen

Deb - I hope Hunter is feeling better this morning, poor guy just can't get a break

We had cake yesterday too! A tiny baby coconut cake. Perfect for the three of us to have a piece last night and another with dinner tonight. :)

Deb - I hope Hunter is doing better this morning.

Jen - Have fun!!

Vicki - I hope you had a good weekend with Chuck!!

Debbie - I keep hoping your shoulder will be feeling better soon.

Heidi - How are you doing this morning?

Good morning. :)

Deb - how is Hunter today?

Heidi - I hope you are seeing improvement with your knee.

Jen - Have fun!

We had ice cream yesterday. How yummy after giving it up for lent!

I'm very pleased with this photographer,

Glad everything went well Heidi

These are beautiful pictures but I was trying to figure out what Heat her Bobing er was. Then I realized it was the photographer's name. I think she should rethink the spacing in her name! :confused3

Easter week-end was nice. We went to my MILs on Saturday and got home last night. I was looking forward to spending time with my MIL but not really the rest of the family. It turned out fine.

I'm happy to be home. I get to be here all week. I'm working remotely this week. I have a project that I need to concentrate on away from the hubbub of Lansing. Just stopped by quick to say hi.

One last post while I'm on my break. Are any of you going to be at Disney in October? Chuck & I are talking about going down on a Sunday and coming back on a Friday for the Food & Wine Festival. We haven't decided when yet.

Good Morning.

Hunter isn't feeling much better. He isn't throwing up, but still is running if you know what I mean  He's been able to keep down a bit of ginger ale and a few tiny popcicles. I forced him to eat 2 saltines and a couple of bites of chicken noodle soup this morning. He has zero fat reserves and I don't want to see him become dehydrated. He was getting pretty lethargic. He seems to have perked up a bit. He'll nap again soon then I'll force feed him again.

I forgot that I'm scheduled to work tomorrow, good thing I looked at my calendar. I have already warned the school that if Hunter is still sick I'll be home with him.
