July 11-18, RCCL, Western Caribbean. I'm thinking about adding a few days on prior and going to US/IOA. So far it's the kids, myself and my parents. Maybe Bob and Bethany.
that is great..what ship are you on?? RCCL is my favorite line! Im actually looking into booking a cruise sometime in July, just not sure where I want to cruise out of!

We booked our flights to Barcelona and hotel yesterday. Our flights were $459 per person a direct flight from Philly to Barcelona. Today the same flight is $2500 per person.:goodvibes:scared1::cloud9::eek: We also got our Give a Day, Get a Day Disney vouchers.

We still need to figure out how we are getting to the hotel, we are probably going to take a bus or the train. Then we need to figure out how to get to the port. Plus one night hotel in Fl, rental car for a day and flights home from FL, but the airline we typically fly home on does not have flights yet for that time.

Plus we need to figure out what excursions or activities we are doing.

WOW, that's a great price Becky. On what airline? What day are you flying out? We're leaving town on the 16th. :hippie::cool1::cool1:

Glynis, I hope Timothy feels better tomorrow and you and Alan can go out to celebrate!

Becky - :yay: for booking cheaper flights!

Deb - good work on the dance!

Elizabeth - I will keep all my fingers crossed for C!

It is Restaurant Week in the ‘Burg! So we plan to take full advantage of the offerings of as many chef-owned restaurants in our historic downtown area. 3-course lunches are only $10.10 and 4-course dinners are a measly $20.10.

Apologies from the get-go for the quality of the photos. I love the camera on my phone with one exception: it doesn’t have a flash. In low-light conditions in many restaurants it takes less than outstanding pictures.

Tonight found us at our favorite wine bar, kybecca. Their menu was adventurous and delicious! We opted to have the wine flight they had for tonight. The white and the red were at least 3-ounce pours and the dessert wine was a good 2-ounces for a mere $13. So, for $33.10 each plus taxes and a handsome gratuity we had a splendiferous meal!

Here is what we had:

With the soup (gorgeous, isn’t it??)

and the salad (which had a tarragon vinaigrette)

we were served a Spanish white that was crisp and citrus-y with some minerality

The entrée was outstanding. The filet was almost fork tender and the truffle butter was the perfect touch. The risotto was perfectly cooked.

We had one of our favorite reds:

Then there was dessert… :goodvibes

We had housemade truffles spiked with a healthy infusion of Banyuls, a French fortified dessert wine.

And these were paired with a fine little Tokay!

Tomorrow we are headed to Capital Ale House. From noon-1:00 a.m. they are serving 20 Dogfish Head beers with a menu developed to go along with them. Can’t wait!!!

Usair, we leave on the 15th at 6:25pm and get into Barcelona around 8:30am on the 16th.

Elizabeth - stick a Lojack up his butt. That'll work. ;) Lots and lots of :wizard: that he gets accepted. When should you know something?

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've been scouring the web for more donation ideas and I've found many. I must say that I am becoming sick of this really quickly.

Freedom, out of Port Canaveral.

Glynis - I hope Timothy is feeling better today. :wizard:

Becky - happy planning!

Deb - I'm thinking we will do either a catamaran snorkel adventure or go to the Chankanaab Beach Park. Maybe both!

Elin - I wish I could join you!

Good morning, DDA!

One last decent day before we get windier, rainier and then cold-ier. Somewhere in there maybe all of the crazy fog that has been plaguing us for days will finally go away.

Not much going for us though. Kaylin will be here in a little bit, which means Kristi will probably bring the kids over later as well. I really need to start organizing my Girl Scout stuff. I got a new file box so that I have room and the folders I ready. I just need to get started, especially since I'll be bringing home more boxes of it after next month's Neighborhood meeting.

Who is selling Girl Scouts cookies? need my thin mints fix.

Help me to decide if $1200 is too much for a US/IOA add on for the 3 of us (kids and myself). That would include 3 nights at the Royal Pacific hotel, 2.5 days in the parks, and all transfers from airport to hotel, hotel to pier, pier to airport.

Our tickets were $99 each for 7 day multi pack tickets = $ 500
Our Room at RPR is $152/night + tax = $500
We will have our car so we'll have parking expense = $40

5 of us will cost $1040

Did you get a AAA discount on the room? Stay more save more rate?

That is an RCCL add on package, quoted from AAA. Your total is only for one night though, right?
