Happy Birthday Glynis party:

Tammi yay for a new ticker & trip :cool1:

Deb sounds like you are off to a good start :thumbsup2

I survived the ice yesterday, but my friend & a few others were not as lucky. She now has 7 staples in the back of her head, one of our beer drivers at work now has 15 stitches by his eye & a lady that works at the court house now has a broken wrist. Oh & Gary has a very swollen & I assume sprained ankle from slipping & falling himself yesterday.

I am off today & have no plans other than laundry & cleaning :thumbsup2

Ditto!

I hope that Gary and your friends heal quickly. :wizard: Stay safe!

party:party:Happy Birthday Glynis! party:party:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GLYNIS

Doing ok...thankfully we did not get hit with the ice like Janet.

Bill has been obsessed with Haiti...with a slight diversion by the loss in Massachusetts.

The joy of may day includes a major toilet clog. The children of this house have toilet paper fetishes...the more the better :sad2:. So I have watched several you tube videos and I am heading out to buy a toilet auger. I anticipate a comedy routine with Bill and I. Last nights routine included who was the most efficient plunger

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! They have made my morning!

Good luck with the augur, Kristine! I totally understand your feelings. My children are the same way with the toilet paper. Of course, Alan is the biggest culprit in our house!

Janet - I hope that the ice doesn't continue, today! Yikes! Sounds really bad!

Like I said, it sounds very dangerous in Illinois. :lmao:

Good luck!

 Yay for new tickers, Tammi!

Happy Birthday, Glynis! :cake:

Glad you're ok, Janet! Hope Gary mends quickly!

Kristine, that doesn't sound like fun at all :(

Just filed our taxes. Looks like we'll be hitting DL in March. Craig has another class down there so his work will pay for hotel/air/rental car except we'll drive so we can all go.

July 11-18, RCCL, Western Caribbean. I'm thinking about adding a few days on prior and going to US/IOA. So far it's the kids, myself and my parents. Maybe Bob and Bethany.

Exciting. Which ports of call do you have?

Kelly yay for the new trip. I can't believe your taxes are already done. We've only received 1 W-2 so far. It will be a while until we can file.

Janet,
Wow, that ice sounds terrible.:wizard: for everyone.

Kelli,
Yay for DL! Someday we have to get out there.

Kristine,
Same at ours. My kids LOVE T.P. & we have those low water saving toilets which wouldn't even flush my goldfish's poop down so you can imagine the fun over here!

I'm tired and it's only 11. I had to meet with the 8th graders this morning to discuss fund raising and volunteer time. Then it was off to inventory previous years Dance supplies. I really only saw some tables that we could use, but at least I know where we stand. From there we went to a local day care that allows us to use their space to make the decorations for the grad dance, we now have a space to begin storing things as well as a place to meet and work. I stopped at our town halll and reserved space on the community board for our event and went back to school to firm up some other plans. Wow, this is becoming a full time job. The Guidance counselor looked at me as commented that I must be a Virgo because I'm highly organized and on top of things. Oddly enough he was right :lmao::confused3 Why can't I organize my house as well as I can other things?

Exciting. Which ports of call do you have?
Labadee, Haiti (their private island), Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. I've been to all of these before, except Labadee. I'm so excited to climb the falls in Ocho Rios with the kids, and take them snorkeling with the stingrays in Cayman. :goodvibes

Kelli - Yay for DL!!!

I had someone ask me the very same question this morning, Deb! And they were wrong with me. I am just a n a l... :rotfl2:

What's even funnier is that he commented that I either had to be virgo or an-al:rotfl: truth be known it's probably both;)

Tammi your ports of call a different than ours with the exception of Cozumel. I'll be interesting in hearing what you choose to do there. We are undecided at this point.

Good afternoon, DDA!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GLYNIS!!!

Tammi and Kelli - Yeah for new trips! I'm hoping to work on our taxes tonight, at least to get started. I have 1 W-2 and most of the info that will be on the others.

Deb - Sounds like you're doing well on the dance. Impressive!

Janet - Hope that ice clears up quickly!
