New restaurant for Epcot's Mexico pavilion

Visitors to Epcot's World Showcase will have a new dining option in the Mexico pavilion this fall. Cantina de San Angel, Mexico's quick-service restaurant, is being torn down to make way for a new, larger venue. The new 12,000-square-foot waterside restaurant will have 400 seats and will offer table service as well as counter service. The current restaurant is much smaller, at 3,500-square-feet and only offering 288 seats. The new venue is expected to be completed by the fall.

Happy Birthday Amy party:

Debbie prayers for your friend

Glynis hope Timothy is feeling better & you were able to enjoy your birthday do over!

Tammi I always say I want to try something different, but after figuring prices Disney always seems to win lol Good luck with your planning!

Becky & Steph yay for getting your flights book :cool1:

The ice has melted & now we are getting a lot of rain. It was so foggy out yesterday & last night that you could barely see a step ahead of yourself.

Gary is being stubborn & will not have his foot/ankle checked out. It is swollen very bad & I think is more than a sprain. He can wiggle his toes so I guess that means it is not broken???????

I have today off which means at some point I really need to go to the grocery store, my freezer is looking a little bare!

Hope you all enjoy your Sunday & those that like football enjoy the games!

There is also going to be a new pizza place in Italy! :yay:

Debbie - so sad about your friend. Many good thoughts going out to her.

Janet - I hop Gary's ankle heals fast. We are going to get all of your rain today, tonight and tomorrow.

Debbie - I was so glad to sign on here this morning and see a post from you! I just looked on facebook to see if you had posted anything on there lately. I was glad to see that you had! I have such a heavy heart for your friend. That is just horrible.

The DisneyFoodBlog site has pictures of the construction area. It is quite an undertaking!

There is also a pizzeria being built in Italy. There is more info on that site too.

What is it with our imbecilic husbands??? Bob needs to go to the doctor too, and won't! I hope you can get Gary to change his mind, Janet.

Good morning, DDA!

Well, birthday, part 2 didn't really go as planned. At first, it seemed like Timothy was much better, although he was coughing and his nose was running like a faucet! However, by the time we left, his fever was up again. I gave him Motrin, sucked out his nose, and put him down for a nap.

Alan took me to Cafe Zupa's for soup, salad and sandwiches. So yummy!!! We finished, and were going to head out for a little shopping before checking out the movie situation, and I just got a feeling that we needed to be home. So, home we headed. Timothy's fever was out of control, and Leslie was sporting a high fever, as well.

We got medicine into both of them, and just settled in for a long day at home. Timothy's fever went in cycles, all day long, but Leslie's just wouldn't go away. Pretty soon, she was throwing up and just plain miserable. It was a really fun day. (Sarcasm there).

Oh well, there's always next year.

Have a good Sunday, everyone. We're still battling Timothy's fever, although Leslie seems much better. I'll check in later!
