D23 announced it's events for 2010. One of them is at WDW (the rest are in DL) on March 5. Anyone going to try to get tickets? I wanna go!! Maybe Johnny Depp will show up like he did last year...ok a girl can dream, can't she?

Oh, I did have a piece of good news yesterday! My dad received a check for 3 million dollars yesterday to help with the building of his new theater! He needs 33 million dollars, and already has 17 million, so this 3 more came at a great time! The 50th anniversary of the Festival will be in 2011, so the hope is that they will have the new theater built and running by then! Keep your fingers crossed that this latest donation sparks others!!!

I've spent the last few hours writing the letters that I need to solicit donations for my up coming events. Hopefully if I ask enough businesses I will get some things that we can use. Now I need to research addresses for major cooperations...why not?

Hi hope you are all doing well. Its cookie time which means things are very busy and crazy. I think all of my volunteers have decided to come back from their holiday break.

Tomorrow we are delivering our blankets for Project Linus.

Monday I am going to NYC. I am going to ESPNzone and to see Mary Poppins.

Walmart and Target (but those can be done on the local level). Kodak, Hasbro (they are doing a national advertising blitz for Family Game night), Apple, some of the other game makers (mattel etc.)

You moms with boys have it easier....both of mine have been shaving for years now. Plus I get more hormones!!

You are welcome....how about some of the candy makers? M&M/Mars, Jelly Belly(they have oopsies....I am betting they'd be willing to donate some of those), Just Born, Kimberly-Clark (kleenex makers...but they do other things also)

March 4th thru March 10th. Gotta get back to work in time for the auditors on the 11th.

Guess what?!?! I got a job!! I interviewed Tuesday for Senior Staff in a daycare center. I was offered the job today with a start date of 1/25.

I also had an interview today for a local church preschool. There aren't any openings right this minute, but they are hoping to add a teacher in the next month or so. And I would be offered it first!! They are also starting a 2 year old program in the fall and she asked if I'd be interested in that. Of course!!!

I have one more interview Monday. This is the one I am most hopeful for. It is 5 minutes from my house.

Now I need to figure out daycare for the girls. The older 2 will probably be dropped off at my MIL's so she can drop them off to school. Eric is off in time to pick them up. I am hopeful that my MIL will agree to watch Lu before she goes into work so I will only have to find someone for Lu for 2-3 hours a day. If not, I'll have to figure something else out. Right now there is no room at the center for me to bring her along.

Can I just tell you how much I love our little neck of the woods. As soon as I saw this post I went over and got my D23 membership. That was the answer to my question. What am I going to do on Friday, not a park day?!?

At first I figured I'd follow Vicki and Chuck around, but I know they were thinking about Richard Petty and stuff like that. (I have an AP and could do the ride along too, if they suggested it. ) We'd still be able to catch them in the evening for T-Rex. And then I thought about Braves spring training, but I don't know how much my DGS likes baseball. Soooooo, looks like we are going to the D23 event. Then we can follow Vicki and Chuck around all dang day on Saturday, as he has a hopper, but just 4 days left. So, Saturday, Sunday for Fantasmic, Monday and Tuesday. YAY!!!!!

Good evening, DDA! For some reason, I just couldn't seem to make it to the computer for more than a short time this week. I hope all is well with everyone. My new charge was born today!! Mom and baby are doing well. I'll start having her right after spring break, which means we get to spend the week in Oklahoma and then start working again more reliably.

Tomorrow, I think maybe Terra and I are going to head to the RV and vacation show tomorrow. Do a little dreaming and enter every sweepstakes we can find in hopes to get lucky! Mostly, though, we're just going to enjoy it being just the two of us. Extra kids everyday is good in some ways, but tiring in others. Monday I've got all of Kristi's kids and my original charge as her parents are going to get some house repairs done that day.

The campfire sing a long is every night at FW. The movie schedule will be posted on the Camping forum here on the DIS, but there isn't much advance notice, usually the last day of the previous month or thereabouts. It will be a sticky at the top of the forum. Another site is www.wdisneyw.com
