Good Morning,

Congrats on the job Robyn

Congrats to your dad Glynis

Glad to hear the laptop finally arrived Janet!

Anne Marie - Glad the fishy is doing better, we had one that did the same thing, I fed her peas for a while and then changed her food to the kind that sank to the bottom instead of floating, unfortunately she didn't make it. She was so big that she couldn't have a "burial at sea"

Things have been hectic around here, poor Aubrey has been sick, running fever, diarea and vomiting. My daughter called me Thursday and was pretty scared, she said she was just laying on the floor looking up and her eyes would roll back, of course I told her to go ahead and take her to the ER.
Both of her ears are infected, and she has a stomach virus, they gave her an antibiotic shot, which she definitely did not like, gave her a popsicle and kept her there long enough to make sure she was going to keep it down. She's doing much better all ready, it's amazing how quickly little ones can bounce back.

I'm going to try to give a brief trip report. Here we go....

Wed., Day 1, HS

We arrived at MCO without any issues, got our bags and headed to ground transportation. Imagine my surprise to find out that Hertz, a major car rental company, did not have a desk in the airport. I guess that's what I get for only $107 and Priceline. However, it turned out to be easier that I had feared. We took their shuttle to their terminal, got our car and was on our way. We opted to head straight to HS. After a brief stop at Guest Services for my AP, TIW card and birthday pin, we were off! I was suprised to see Christmas decorations still up, as well as Christmas music being piped into the park.

We got our FPs for TSM and made it just as the doors were closing for the noon show of American Idol. My mom had not seen this yet. Actually, she did quite a few new things this trip. Alyssa is really annoyed that you have to be 14 to audition.

From here we rode TGMR, one of our favs. We ended up with the gangster scene.

Next it was on to ToT and RnRC (which my mom won't ride).

We had a 2:15 ADR at SciFi. The kids have been wanting to go back here for awhile now, so we did. I think it will be awhile, if ever, that we eat here again. This place just doesn't do it for me.

After lunch we went to the Animation place. Again, another new thing for Mom. We got to draw Genie!

Except Alyssa. She gets frustrated and then just does her own drawing.

At some point we rode TSM and then called it a day. It was starting to get cold and we wanted to get to AKL to check out the activities there.
Club checkin went smoothly. The CMs were wonderful. Our room was 4 doors down from the lounge, very convenient. Inside I found lots of birthday surprises.

We dropped our luggage off and headed to the lounge for some snacks. I'm thinking I need to add on some points at AKLV. We REALLY enjoyed club level!

Then we toured around the resort.

By now it was starting to get late so we headed up to the room to get ready for bed.

Up next....Sunrise Safari, my birthday and AK parade!

Debbie - Poor Aubrey, and poor mom. I'm sure she was very scared. I'm glad to hear that Aubrey is doing much better. Hopefully she doesn't share with Brandon.

maybe we will do the camp fire movie thing this year, what do you think Tia? one less park day to buy.

Deb - I am sorry Nick is growing up! There are wonderful things about having them grown, though. :goodvibes

Debbie - Poor little Aubrey. I am glad she is doing better. How about you? Are you feeling better too?

Tammi - loved the beginning of your TR! Thank you! How did your shopping go?

The campfire sing a long is every night at FW. The movie schedule will be posted on the Camping forum here on the DIS, but there isn't much advance notice, usually the last day of the previous month or thereabouts. It will be a sticky at the top of the forum. Another site is www.wdisneyw.com
Thanks Deb!

Poor Aubrey. Get better soon.:yay:

Okay D23 event is in MK. So maybe we will not do a park on Monday. That can be my non park day, go to the campground, eat at Trails End and other stuff. :yay::yay:

Tammi-Love the report so far..your pictures are great!!!

Today has been a lazy day so far--I got some cleaning done and have just been catching up on shows and movies I had DVRed. Now I need to run some errands before football games start..then I have a dinner tonight with some friends---girls night during a football game?! Its crazy i tell ya ;)

2 of the things I told Jeff I wanted for Christmas was a Toy box built on my front porch to put the girls outside toys in. Him and his dad did that on Christmas eve.

The second thing I wanted was some shelfs built in my kitchen. We found some closet storage stuff at Target that matches my kitchen completely. I got three different things. One is a cabinet that has 2 adjustable shelves with doors, then I got one that has 2 drawers and then we got a piece that can hold 2 canvas bins if you wanted. They stack together. We got them assembled yesterday. I now have my sewing machine out of the attic and out of the box. I am so excited.

Tammi, I love the trip report and the chair. Your family takes really great photos. You are all so beautiful. :woohoo:

Tammi, I think you had our same villa! :rotfl2: From the lounge, last one on the right? The one with a little coffee spilled on the wall to the left of the door? :rolleyes1 (Don't try to open the door with your hands full of lidless coffee cups. It's my signature stupid guest trick.)

Thanks everyone!

Yes, Elizabeth, last one on the right. And I didn't notice your coffee that was spilled on the wall!

Busy cleaning here this morning. The kids have gotten their bathroom done, my bedroom is vacuumed and dusted. They vacuumed and swiffered the rest of the house. Now they are busy dusting their bedrooms. I have to tackle my bathroom. I hate bathrooms!
