Glynis did post that Timothy was walking on FB. :)

Heidi, have a magical trip! :wizard:

Debbie, hope it doesn't rain too hard today! I'm a little bummed I can't ride Splash this trip.

Marci, nice to see you! Great pictures!

Elin, I was just asking Elizabeth about Lindsay yesterday and she said that Chanon spoke to her since the baby arrived.

And those of you who are FB friends with Kevin already know this, but 3 sleeps 'til we hit the road! :yay:

And zero packing done. :rolleyes1

Have a great day DDA! :wave2:

Its been a while though since I've talked to her...at least 3-4 weeks. I just called the house...(not now, I mean when I did call, I just called the house and they answered...)

Happy Birthday to Clare, Jennifer(tink), Vicki, Colby and Chris.

How is Kevin feeling Amy?

Some days are better than others. His ear is still really bothering him, and the itchiness is bugging him, too (thus causing him not to sleep well). I felt bad because he photoshopped all of our Halloween pictures...he's really self-conscious about the healing scabs (which I think are barely noticeable).

On Saturday, he said he was so busy doing yardwork, playing with the kids in the leaves, etc. that these things didn't bother him so much. I'm hoping that means he'll be distracted on our trip, too. :wizard:

Debbie have a great day & I am glad to hear that Ida calmed down!

Glynis sorry I missed it, but yea for Timothy walking :cool1:

Oh, you didn't miss it. I posted it on facebook, but haven't been here much to post it. I'm still hoping to get some video posted of it. Stay tuned.

I am thinking that Glynis posted on facebook about Timothy walking?

Yup. Sorry I didn't get over here to post about it, yet. I managed to get it on facebook, and then Katie kicked me off the computer to do her homework.

Hi, everyone. Yes, it's true, Timothy has started walking. He got up the courage to walk without support yesterday, and he practiced and practiced! It was so cute to watch him. By the time Alan got home last night, he had it down pretty well. It was so amazing to watch him, as he got this really serious look on his face while trying to maintain balance, but when he reached Alan, he had the biggest grin on his face! Our problem now, is that he can't push himself into a standing position without pulling himself up on something. We will have to work on that.

This morning, he tried to walk, but couldn't quite get the balance there, and plopped down on his bottom. He balled up his fists and yelled in frustration. He wants to do this so badly!

Alan plans on doing some videotaping tonight, so stay tuned.
Other than that, not much going on. I'm getting ready for Scouts, and trying to decide what kinds of pies to make for the 2 pie nights we are going to before Thanksgiving. Yes, Heidi, pecan will be the first one that I make!

Happy Birthday to Clare, Jennifer(tink), Vicki, Colby and Chris.

Lot's of :wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard: that the trip will do the trick!

I am on FB, missed there somehow :confused3

Another busy day for me. I worked this morning then ran a bunch of errands. I picked up portable garage for Chris for his birthday. He is always complaining that he can't use his shop because it is full with this or that. This way he can move his Street Rod project out into the new "garage" and he will be able to do side work in his own shop. His work has really cracked down on employees using the dealership for personal uses.

Apparently there was a heart attack at the Aquatic Center last night. It was not in the pool area, but in the fitness room. Of course the fitness monitor and the front desk had no clue how to do cpr or any first aid for that matter so they grabbed 2 life guards (one wasn't even on the schedule, but had just walked in). They performed CPR and used the AED machine and kept him alive until the paramedics got there. He is now in intensive care, no word if he will make it or not. It just reaffirms my point that we need at least 2 lifeguards on duty at all times.

I'm bartending tonight. Hopefully it will all come back to me and no one will order a complicated drink :lmao: I'm hoping that it will be fun and with a little luck profitable.

Thanks for the good wishes for Kevin. :goodvibes

Facebook is definitely funky now with the whole "live feed" business. I've noticed that sometimes I can hit "status updates" (on the left side), and I'll see a few more updates from my friends. I know I'm still missing some updates though. Annoying!

Deb I am an organized person, thanks for not making fun like my family does.

Sounds like a great gift for Chris.

:wizard: for the person who had the heart attack. Shame that they needed to get lifeguards to do CPR. :sad2:

Amy poor Kevin, hope the trip does help distract him. :wizard:

Tonight we got an offer to upgrade to businees class for the flight down, so John booked it.
