Elizabeth :wizard: that DH doesn't get sick and then share.

Oh no poor Bob! please tell him lots of good thoughts coming his way. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Bob has two co-workers who have Swine Flu. He called me this morning to ask what he should do about it. Since they were in a class together last week, I told him was too late to close that barn door! :rotfl:

I see others have gone with another ticker company too. Its good there are so many to choose from. :)

He overdid it this weekend. I convinced him to go to bed early last night, since he has a murder trial that started this morning. I've also encouraged him to call his doctor for a follow-up, but you know men. He does realize he wants to be well for our Disney trip, so hopefully that will be the motivation he needs to allow his body to heal!

Debbie and Heidi, I'm sorry to read you are not feeling well. The left side of my head is throbbing. Stupid sinuses. This weather is NOT helping, since the temps are varying 20-30 degrees from morning to afternoon to evening!

Theresa, I'm praying this is the job for you!

Jen, glad you had a great birthday!

Becky, nice pictures!

Hope you all have a great Monday! :wave2:

I've been praying that also...but it wasn't meant to be...I got the thanks but no thanks message this afternoon after I spent a useless 6 hours out of the house and to come to that and Jim here when he shouldn't be...just threw me over the edge.

Theresa I'm sorry to about the job. We were praying for you here too

My day has been horrid. First the Front Desk person didn't show up at work so I had to cover the desk...again. And I got to call someone in at 5AM and he was not expecting the call :headache: I came home after work and within 15 minutes the phone rang. It was the school. Hunter was hurt and they were calling the Ambulance :scared1: Needless to say I broke a few laws getting to school and I almost got there before the Ambulance. He was playing soccer in PE class and he and another boy both went for the ball. Hunter ended up being tripped and he landed on his shoulder. Turns out he broke the clavical. This apparently will heal on its own, but it is very painful for him to move at all at this point. We are now home and he is proped up on the couch with lots of pillows, Tylenol, Advil and Codeine. Tonight should be interesting to say the least. I'm thankful that I was able to get to the school to calm him down, help backboard him and accompany him in the ambulance. Chris met us there.

Nick and Colby were filled in by the nurse as we knew it would be all over the school, which it was. Colby ended up crying most of the day as he worried about his big brother. The teacher ended up calling my Mother to reassure him. Colby has not left Hunter's side since he got home

Deb-poor Hunter...hope he feels better quickly...but I am told the clavicle breaking hurts worse than almost any other (because it can't really be reset).

Deb - Poor Hunter. I'm so sorry that he is going through this. Hopefully the drugs will kick in and let him rest some over the next few days. I man I dated several years ago who broke his collarbone snow skiing. I remember how awful he felt. Just do your best to immobilize that arm/side of the body. Sleeping is probably going to be the most difficult.

He's been doing okay tonight. I have kept the pain meds in him. Hopefully he will be able to sleep tonight though he is worried that he will roll onto his left side as that is the side he always sleeps on. I will set my alarm to keep him medicated as the doctor has said to give him his meds on time and not let them wear off.

Thank you for your continued prayers and well-wishes for Kevin. Marci and Anne-Marie, thank you for relaying your own experiences with Dana and Randy. As for Kevin, his face still has the terrible blisters, but his pain is finally subsiding. He intends to go to work tomorrow, and hopefully he won't overdo it.

I wish I could say I had an ideal experience at my ultrasound today, but we have a bit of an issue. Our baby boy has two choroid plexus cysts on his head. My doctor is optimistic that these will most likely disappear throughout the rest of my pregnancy, but they need to take precautionary steps since it could also be a "marker" of other things. As a result, I had to give blood for a quad screening, and I will need to go downtown on Friday, October 30th for a level 2 ultrasound.

I'm trying to tell myself that this happened for a reason...Kevin didn't get to go with me, so the baby wanted to make sure Daddy gets to see him, but you know that's easier said than done. Thankfully I had Julie (she used to post here a long time ago) with me!

Alyssa doesn't seem too terribly disappointed another boy is on the way, but Matty is insisting we name him Trevor, since his friend Justine has a new baby brother with the same name. We've picked out the name Samuel Ethan...Sammy for short. :)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! We're 20 degrees below normal here in Cincinnati, and I'm just not ready for the cold. Luckily, we have a trip to WDW just about a month away. :goodvibes

I just saw this, Amy. Congratulations on the boy! I'm sorry the ultrasound was not exactly without stress. I can totally relate, though. At our ultrasound with Timothy, we were told that his kidneys weren't working, and the blood work showed that there was a possibility that he would have Down's Syndrome. However, neither proved true! I'll pray that the cysts go away on their own. By the way, I love the name!

Deb hugs for Hunter, I hope he is able to sleep well tonight

Elin :wizard:that Bob does not catch anything!

Theresa, sorry
